The location couldn't have been better as we needed to attend appointments at the Fsithlie Centre. The view was first class, allowing us to breathe in the juxtaposition of the 17th Century Saltoun Square, all the Broad Street shops, and a glimpse of the state of the art fishing vessels such as Grateful. Cheers is a unique complex of function suites, beer gardens, and quaint alleways bedecked with beautiful hanging baskets. Shona, the manageress, went the extra mile to accommodate our urgent needs and has gained a place of honour in our recovery journey. She has received the prestigious Gouranga Award for the best hospitality provider of our detox vacation. Her has confirmed our conviction that The Broch will be our happy second home for many years to come.

Very poor local public transport links.

The staff were all exceptionale during my stay and nothing was to much effort from the whole team. I was away from work for 2 weeks travelling with work and absolutely spoilt, in fact if I am honest I was treated so well I didn’t want to come back. Would highly recommend anyone stay here the rooms are spacious, friendly bar downstairs, breakfast cooked freshly to order and such friendly staff. If I travel with work again I will certainly be trying to get into this place again.

The only slight negative would be the high street can get noisy, honestly it’s the main high street in Fraserburgh and the same in every town I have stayed in so cant really mark them down for this.

Lovely big room, Both of the members of staff I met were very helpful, the lady who checked me in found me an extension lead for me so I could charge my bike. She also helped me up the stairs with my luggage which was very much appreciated. The breakfast lady was also lovely although I couldn't eat the 4 poached eggs on toast I was given for breakfast :).

would have loved a bath but that can't be helped.

The approach to the property wasn't very promising, as it was up a close. Keys were obtained from the bar of the pub downstairs, and the barmaid took us to the room, at the top of the building. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, with good quality bed linen, pillows and towels. Meals were not provided, but an excellent dinner was has at the adjacent Saltown Hotel.

Room was lovely and clean, very spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was amazing (they even went out in the morning to get gluten free bread to make me toast). Staff were very nice too.

The only thing for me was the stairs as we were on the top (3rd) floor. We couldn't get the tv in the room to work and didn't fancy going all the way down to tell them but that wasn't a huge issue.

Very friendly staff and cleaner went above and beyond such a delightful person the cleanliness was exceptional beautiful views easy to access extremely helpful we couldn’t have asked for more a great stay

Nothing we didn’t like extremely clean people in the bar were very friendly lady behind the bar absolutely lovely and helpful she carried my bags all the way to the top floor she went out of her way for me

It was very clean the bed was so comfortable and the staff were very nice and helpful especially the girl who looks after the rooms she went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of tea and bottled water

Couldn’t find any faults

The room was spacious, had all necessities and more (fridge was handy). Very clean, bed comfortable so we slept well. If you intend going fishing it is a perfect location to get on the boat. Staff is super nice and helpful.

Expect noises outside till about 1:30 am on Saturday night.

Bedroom and bathroom were so clean and fresh. Good atmosphere in the bar; it did get loud at weekend yet I didn't hear any noise at all from my room. Breakfast was very nice and filling.

Nothing that I really didn't like.

We were pleased with everything the only problem I had was with the Airport, when we arrived at Aberdeen my Suitcase was broken and peices missing out of it there was a few little items that were missing out of my case too. Other than that everything else was good, I had to buy another case from there to come back with and the Boss kindly disposed of my ruined one for me.
