The breakfast was perfectly adequate -- good selection to choose from, piping hot and not a bit greasy, the bedroom was exceptional, spotlessly clean, well serviced, etc, and very comfortable beds. The 'Arches' restaurant provided excellent value for money & choice - freshly cooked food served by the extremely friendly & efficient young waitress, Evelyn-- nothing was too much trouble. We also had a drink in the bar, again, a good selection of ales, etc. The hotel is extremely well run by Owner Dorothy and her Son; ably assisted by their attentive and enthusiastic staff. We certainly would have no hesitation in recommending the Station Hotel to anyone: We hope to stay there again probably next year. (God willing).

How quickly the time passed, and it was time for home.

Everything here was excellent.The cleanliness of the hotel overall was absolutely excellent which to me is very important. I got a lovely welcome from the owner on arrival who guided me to my room. The room was a single room and very well appointed indeed. Carpets throughout the hotel were immaculate and this was the case in the room also. I had a wardrobe, desk with drawers with a flat screen TV , a bed side cabinet and great lighting. The beautiful bathroom with walk in double sized shower was very hygienic, the shower was excellent as was the WC. Food was of a very high standard and was delicious. I ate here every night and it was also very well priced and the portions generous. The Fillet steaks were huge and cooked to perfection. It's very hard to find any criticism of the hotel at all even of a constructive nature. I did ask for an additional bath towel which I was given immediately and I received 2 towels each time they were replaced .

Having to leave and the thought of missing those wonderful meals .

Room was comfortable, bathroom has some standard stains in shower but nothing of major concern. Walls are a bit thin, but obviously nothing can be done about that. Will be back in October for work again.

We felt the photos online did not do this place justice. Beautiful interior, very old-timey rather than dated. The staff were super helpful and friendly! Photos cannot capture the feeling of being in this hotel. 10/10 will be booking here again when we’re visit Aberdeen again. Without a doubt my most favourite and now treasured hotel stay. Thank you to the staff and Dorothy for going above and beyond any expectations we could have possibly had.

This is a wonderful old hotel. It's well maintained and the 3 rooms we had were all very comfortable. Breakfast is included, perfectly cooked to order and delicious. The staff were kind, friendly and very helpful. Ample parking too. We had dinner one night in Arches restaurant and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Great value for money for our stay and we highly recommend the Station Hotel.

The Station Hotel was a great surprise to me; it was very friendly, and the rooms were excellent. If we needed any additional towels, it was not a problem; the staff went and got them there, and then there was no long waiting. We had breakfast every morning of our three-day stay it was excellent food tasted great good start to the day. Our room was spacious and clean. tea and coffee making service was in the room. Hotel is located of the street which makes it quite and peaceful place to stay. Great Place to stay and great value. I will be back.

Hotel is spotless, rooms are large, bright, cosie and the beds are extremely comfortable. The staff are exceptional, friendly and inviting. The restaurant is outstanding, meals are second to none. The breakfast was the perfect start to the day, fresh coffee, well prepared food. They even had gluten free options. The hotel is in a quiet area, which is what we were looking for, it is also a short walk to the shops, café's and bars. The bar is well stocked, there is a pool table and juke box. All in all, it was a great stay, and we will happily be going back.

The room was huge, and I had the choice of a single bed or double bed. The decor was very traditional and the thick curtains blocked out any drafts. I was able to make a cuppa when I wanted. More sachets would have been even better, and a miniture cool pack with pots of milk would have been good too. I'm disabled and the parking was so close, I managed into the hotel with my stick. Staff were so helpful and carried my bags to the door. I loved breakfast. Making up my own selection of my favourite things and the lovely orange juice set me up ready for my day. Relaxing and allowing my body and mind to have a rest before dashing into Christmas. I highly recommend the station Hotel.

No place to get in and get to the room if you're in a wheelchair. Loved everything else.

Very clean, nice facilities. Ideal for an overnight or two nights stay. Staff were helpful and very kind. Great atmosphere in the bar and quiet location. Plenty of plugs for charging and space. Basic shower and toilet facilities but great shower and towels.

More items for cooked breakfast i.e. beans, tattie scone/hashbrown. Water bottles for the room with the tea and coffee facilities in room. Advise an extra pillow or ask for one if you prefer to sleep a little more upright.

Bedroom was on the first floor by stairs. Room was of reasonable size with clothes hanging space, tea/coffee making facilities and a comfortable bed. Bathroom was well appointed with large soft towels, soaps etc. Dinner was in the bar which was bright and airy, girl on bar duty was very helpful and the food was out of this world, all home cooked and very good portions. Had breakfast on departure morning, fruit/cereal and cooked course to order all with tea and coffee. Excellent food and accommodation experience.
