You could hear the floorboards in the main hallway creaking whenever someone went up and downstairs and some of the fittings could use some TLC. However, the price for a room for the night was fantastic value for money and these are only minor points that I feel don't have a large inpact on the experience . Overall, the room was a good size and a comfy bed and hot shower, the location of the property was close to everything I needed and would stay here again in the future when visiting Peterhead.

Cooked breakfast for £5! Where else can you get that? Toast, cereals and tea are all self service. Breakfast is in a large consevatory and is comfortable and clean. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff. Room is compact as expected. I have been before and it is superb value! I will come again.

Really not much. Perhaps more complimentary milk/tea etc. Quieter door closures?

Everything! Very pleasantly surprised, given the low cost. Easy parking & check in. Quiet & comfortable room, hot shower (tho it was quite small). Appreciated the kettle & tea in our room, and there is a microwave with plates & cutlery in the hallway if you want to heat up food. Morning host was exceptional; friendly and we really appreciated the decent breakfast for only 5GBP. Cereals, tea/coffee + hot if you wish (bacon, eggs, sausage, beans). Walking distance to tons of things, but we went to a great bewery called Brew Toon (lovely owner too!) and had amazingly fresh fish & chips at the Dolfin Cafe; very good & affordable. There's also a huge Aldi grocery store a short walk away.

Given the cost, nothing we didn't like. Way better than expected.

The location was excellent, right in the heart of town. The staff were incredibly helpful, and coffee and tea were consistently replenished. The room was clean and comfortable.

The shower door was broken, and there were no hooks for clothes in the bedroom. The window was difficult to open due to the old frame. The walls were quite thin—you could hear the neighbors—but it wasn't a major issue.

Fab wee guest house with lovely welcome. Plenty parking spaces out front. Quiet street nr all facilities.Good sized dbl Room for a solo traveller. Room and bathroom were spotless. Large TV on wall opp bed. Comfy bed great quality bedding. Great sleep. Pre ordered cooked breakfast. Delicious! Plenty choice cereals etc. Amazing value. Thank you to the lovely host!

Stayed here after a wedding, rooms are clean, showers powerful, staff are wonderful we prebooked breakfast the night before and it's great value for money £5 and there's tea/coffee/orange juice, bread to make toast cereals and a freshly cooked breakfast with bacon, sausage egg and beans, if looking for somewhere cheap and clean this is a great place!

It’s in a great location, not far from the harbour and close to the shops. Very clean and spacious in the family room with a double and 2 single beds. Plenty of tea and coffee and if you run out, some get left out downstairs. Good quality items for breakfast best coffee tea bags hot chocolate. Neeber the milk is Cravandale. Breakfast was piping hot and you can have cereal whilst waiting.

Comfy beds, good location, large room with plenty of space. Check in was easy, key was left on a shelf in the entrance. Bathroom basic but effective. Did what it said on the tin.

Property’s front door appeared to be unlocked during the day, so anyone could have taken my key, there was no locked box to obtain the key.

Upon arrival the key to my room was waiting for me at the entrance and all I had to do was settle in... No fuss at all. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Eva, the lady who served breakfasts was most helpful and kind.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. If you're looking for an adequate room, clean and comfortable, that is exceptionally good value, the Lost Guest House is just the ticket.

The place was brilliant. Clean room, good facilities and a great host. The only slight criticism, and I do mean slight, is one day my room was cleaned, my plastic(reusable) cutlery which I had for years was cleaned away. The owner did look but they couldn't be found. Need to get myself a new set LOL. Parking great. Easy check-in. And although I never had breakfast, it smelled great.
