Our guy Kevin went above and beyond to take care of our group. We were missing two golf bags and a luggage bag, with limited response from the airline. Kevin and his staff were diligent in demanding the airport/airline deliver our bags, which arrived the next day, after being promised 3 days later. He was very attentive to our needs as a group, and provided us service above and beyond anything we expected. If you are looking for a place to stay in Cruden Bay, this is a must.

Location to the golf course, quality of service, quality of restaurant and staff, comfortable, clean rooms.

The building inside and out was beautiful, very clean and food was really good.

Our room the family suit was very very cold. The heating was switched off during the night and we ended up with the younger children in bed with us to keep warm, by the morning we got up and dressed without showing it was so cold. We did have an electric heater in the room but it didn’t seem to make much difference. It was such a shame because everything else was beautiful! If it was summer this would not have been a problem.

We had a wonderful stay at the St Olaf Golf Hotel in Cruden Bay! The gentleman at the front gave us fantastic recommendations on where to explore locally, which really made our trip special. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the view from the hotel was absolutely stunning. We’d happily stay again! 🌊⛳✨

The owners and staff were fantastic- so welcoming and looked after us very well. They were really friendly and great fun . My mother is coeliac & everything was so well organised for her from gluten free treats on arrival to all the lovely food at breakfast and dinner. It’s in a gorgeous location overlooking Slains Castle and a perfect base for touring around the area.

The staff were so friendly and engaging. The rooms are conveniently just above the lobby, restaurant, and bar. The hotel is close to the beach, castle, and golf course.

The rooms were a bit dated, but we found it charming.

Friendly hosts. Spotlessly clean room. Comfy bed. . Great breakfast including a selection of fresh fruit, avocado on toast, variety of breads. Vegetarian choices. Great location, gorgeous view. Rocking bar with pool table

The food was absolutely OUTSTANDING!! Best we’ve had for ages. Really tasty and big portions. Also the staff and hosts were brilliant.

The rooms need updating a bit but the owners are new and working on that.

Delicious food for both breakfast and dinner. Very friendly staff who went out their way to cater for my gluten intolerant husband. It’s a great wee hotel.

The village is very beautiful and the little hotel was fantastic! The view is stunning from the room and everything is cozy and comfortable. I had dinner in the restaurant and it was fantastic. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back!
