I enjoy the welcome, the food, feeling safe travelling alone away from home all week. I like staying out at Lonmay it is worth the 5 miles from Fraserburgh away from the early morning noise of seagulls that I have experienced with staying in Fraserburgh itself. There is a lot to be said about the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.

I have nothing to mention on this part I am more than happy with the hotel, the staff and the food and the rooms are spacious and comfortable

The property was very easy to find with a very welcoming host at the end of a long drive. The room was excellent on the ground floor. Very clean, spacious and tidy. It has the added bonus of doors opening onto a patio and garden, perfect to allow our dog out without having to go out via reception. It was perfect for our 1 night stay on route to Shetland.

We stayed at Ban Car back in August but this time we were upgraded to a Business Suite which was spacious and modern with all the room facilities you need. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. Breakfast never disappoints, with a wide choice and beautifully served On the last night we had a Carvery. Again friendly and helpful staff and superb food, not and tasty. Thank you

Though this was confirmed on booking website it hadn't been confirmed at the ban car, there was rooms available, but it could of been an issue, also great breakfast apart from what we thought was very cheap sausages?, there is great butchers in Fraserburgh .

This was a fantastic hotel and I cannot fault anything. The staff were super friendly and helpful, my room was a lovely size and very clean and comfortable. I really liked the homely feel I felt from the hotel and the room itself.

I always stay here when working in Fraserburgh. It's not that far. You will always get a lovely welcome when you arrive, the meals and service are excellent, because it's in the country your will sleep well. Lovely variety at breakfast.

Location. Staff are always helpful and attentive. The hotel is always spotlessly clean. Food for breakfasts and evening meals always great and tasty. Highly recommend Ban Car hotel having stayed here many times before.

No breakfast included with Booking.com but it is if you book direct. However we were so well fed out visiting relatives, breakfast not needed. Daily service of room good. Door key provided if out after 11pm so we didn’t feel rushed to return in the evenings. Our evening meal on first night was superb.

Good location to Fraserburgh beach and town centre and also to Willows animal sanctuary which was the purpose of our overnight stay

We brought our wee dog and having the ground floor with French doors to let the dog out was excellent
