My stay at the Killy was excellent, from the time of my check in until I checked out. My room was very comfortable though not modern but was spacious, very clean, quiet and cosy and afforded me a lovely view of the beer garden and a beautiful sunset sky. My dinner and breakfast the following morning were delicious and throughout my stay the staff were welcoming and friendly. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Nil, well maybe the car parking at the side of the hotel is tight, but hey, it was built in the day of horses and carriages not for motor cars.

Great location at the seaside, brilliant restaurant, calm bar AND a lively bar (you choose!), interesting sites nearby. Fantastic staff fulfilled several special requests. Breakfast was great. Room was silent. I came to work away for a while, and could do so alongside enjoying the area. A beautiful beach, golf, history, many amenities.

I considered what I could write here, and came up with the following: the lighting in the shower could be increased.

Room was clean and comfortable, unfortunate it overlooked the busy road. Staff were all lovely, always a cheery smile and did everything to make your stay comfortable. Food was excellent. Hotel could do with a repaint to improve the kerb appearance but inside was quaint and interesting. Cruden Bay is a pretty village and has easy access to other towns and villages in Aberdeenshire.

The outside appearance was in need of improvement.

The Kilmarnock Inn is an amazing, family run hotel in a quaint little village. The proprietors operate the Inn and I cannot say enough about how amazing the experience was for us. The rooms are spotless, the Inn itself is SO comfortable, the area is beautiful, the food in the restaurant is outstanding. Lots of places do a good job on most things, but the Kilmarnock Inn does it all better than well. This lovely Inn is a place that I would consider making a destination location. We took public transport, but a car would be helpful as the surrounding area has lots to offer. That said, there was plenty to keep us busy.

Nothing. There is nothing not to like.

One of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel, Hagis, Blood Pudding, taters. It's not a big breakfast but it's made fresh to order and was delicious.

Honestly, things were very good. People do have to climb stairs to get to upper levels, but that's the case in all historic hotels.

The food was excellent, staff was very friendly & helpful. Our room was huge with our own private patio. Which was lovely.

The underfloor heating was on the blink, but did have a little oil filled radiator which did the job.

Property is a bit tired and in need of some upgrading, but very comfortable and clean

Very good menu choice and well coming and attentive service in a nice and pleasant ambience.

The breakfast sausages were slightly on the dry side and the scrambled egg a bit on the dry side but this may be down personal taste.

Everyone was friendly and kind. We had a family room but I was expecting a twin room for me and my grandson. The staff chatted with us and even pointed out places to visit. On our final day the waitress said the chef could make pancakes for our breakfast if we wanted, which were absolutely amazing. Everyone was smiling and happy

There wasn't anything to not like

Food was fantastic. All home made.. service excellent. I requested an extra night as I didn't need to get to check out until 3pm.. The host did not charge. Would highly recommend.
