Well done cleaning staff, the accommodation was lovely and clean. Chef - the meals were good. Reception and bar staff very nice. Plenty parking. Great leisure facility. Good touring base.

The establishment doesn't take CASH and you are only told this after making the booking. The vending machine for drinks etc was empty. The restaurant staff did their job well however they did not meet and greet "hello, good morning, good bye" was missing from their conversation - they just went straight to asking for a room number.

It was a beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and the woman on reception was very nice. The rooms have everything you would need including tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board and a fan. If I had one gripe it would be that you have to pay for the use of the pool. I've never had that before. I paid 99 pounds for a room only so at that price you'd expect to be able to use the facilities for free. It just seems a bit money grabbing to me. But other than that I can't fault the hotel at all.

From the moment we arrived, (this is our third visit), we were made very welcome by Receptionist. We were allocated the room we requested, as I have mobility problems, which I was absolutely delighted about. Room very clean, bed so comfortable and welcome tray with tea/coffee etc provided. Shower and bath in room, and the towels were spotless and fluffy. Leisure facilities fabulous. Pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi all very clean and easily accessible. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Food in restaurant delicious, compliments to the Chef, and waiting staff very courteous and helpful.

I didn’t like that towels had to be paid for at the pool.

Hotel staff very polite and . Service in hotel satisfactory , food just okay . Room was good size .Great facilities having a gym and pool and sauna, overall a good hotel for what we paid for our two night stay .Entertainment on sat night was good . Overall enjoyed our stay

Bath over shower ,when requested a walk in shower, shower, over baths and shower, a bit dated ,although it done its needs. Would have preferred a little closer to town ,£8 for taxi, isn't to bad over a two day stay . Bar prices a bit high

Loved the room & tranquility ,great parking .the staff were very nice & helpful .loved the colors as it's been getting an upgrade

The pool was closed 4 refurbishment but will be ace when opened. We had the dinner it was cooked to perfection good choice & service was 1st class The buffet breakfast was cold We arrived down at 9 am it was Sunday the black pudding & eggs were like rubber due to time scale of being put in bay marine. Bacon cold & beans sausages skin was tough.It was a shame as it was good quality .i got them 2 heat bacon up and give me a poached egg . Also you must let staff in kitchen know not to put old bacon with new .I think if they made.less then top up when finished it would be really hot .it was a let down . When I mentioned 2 kitchen staff I was completely ignored ?very naughty

Management was on site and greeting/ happy to help with anything. All staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and very clean. Little bits that could be revamped but didn't alter the stay and not enough to put the stars down. Breakfast was lovely. We were also advised of a lovely walk area by management when we were leaving.

Could have been a bit more enthusiastic/ cheery on the leisure reception and would have been helpful if they gave any info. Gave my receipt and I then had to ask where changing rooms/ directions etc. Maybe self explanatory but I'm an awkward person and like to know where I'm going.

Loved the interior, definitely wasn't what I expected just looking at the outside so don't let that put you off. Inside was absolutely beautiful, everyone was super friendly and the whole place was immaculate! The food was brilliant and very reasonable priced. Shower pressure and hot water is normally an issue in hotels this size but not the waterside!

The internet wasn't available in our room, wouldn't let us connect, the breakfast staff on the Sunday wasnt very helpful, very slow and didn't manage to keep up to filling the juice jugs and sorting the tables. Saturday morning staff were brilliant! Couldn't fault them at all. However everything's a learning curve! We will be back 👌🏻

The staff are the best staff I've ever encountered. anywhere. Really nice people, very helpful and friendly. Aberdeenshire people tend to be a bit lke that, but I think the manager comes from London and there are a couple of other Nationalities. However, whether it is the training, or just the staff themselves they get an A+++ from me! Also, the meals are always very good calue for money.

The Hotel is probably budget - I'm not a snob but could do without travelling workers (as I am myself) effin and Cing in the bar. Very disrespectful, especially when there are visitors there with their wives.

Very, very good value for money. Hot water, good pressure and a full sized tub. Swimming pool and gym. Large free parking and good wifi. Large room with comfortable firm mattress, good sized tv and a small bar fridge. Restaurant in house with good food although selection limited. Very helpful and cheerful front end staff

We had a wonderful stay at the Waterside Hotel. The staff were all super friendly and exceptionally helpful. The hotel was in a fantastic position it was also very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with plenty to choose from. The pool was another bonus within the Hotel and a great hit with the children. Thank you so much and we shall definitely return.

The only negative thing about our stay The Children struggled without internet access and the lack of TV channels.This impacted on their enjoyment whilst staying at the hotel.
