Reception were great, great to have parking. The spa experience was good although they changed my time and didn’t have email or missed call/voicemail as they said.

The breakfast was terrible. Witnessed the manager having a go at the girl server as tables weren’t cleaned. Unprofessional. She was obviously very stressed. No pastries, toaster not working, veg sausages had to be asked for and took a long time to come. And had to ask again for them. All tables were full on arrival of dirty dishes, had to move clean cutlery from another table and wipe our table down ourselves. The staff obviously stressed. Coffee was terrible. Orange juice warm. Just wish we hadn’t paid for it.

What a lovely esthetic when you walk in the lobby! Staff is extremely professional and friendly, and finding our rooms was easy. Our room was quite spacious and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also a hit, as it was not only easy but delicious.

We really wanted to enjoy the whisky room, and the decorations in there were perfect, but the music choice was not (modern American country). Old jazz would have better fit the vibe in that room, and the service was just so-so. Parking was also a bit of an issue, but thankfully, we were able to find a space in the overflow parking lot. Our room was almost hot and we couldn't get out to cool down - it was a relief to open the door to leave into the hallway, which was at least 15 degrees cooler!

The reception team's efficiency was commendable, providing a swift and seamless check-in and check-out process. The bedroom was notably spacious, and the continental breakfast offered a wide variety of options.

During my several stays, this visit fell short of expectations. Housekeeping attention to detail was deficient; dust was observed on bedside light fixtures, black mold on the shower dispenser, dust on the dressing table leg, and debris in the cupboard runner. While a one-night stay mitigated the need for photographic documentation, significant dust accumulation on lobby umbrellas was readily visible from the mezzanine. Furthermore, assignment to a disability-accessible room, which was neither requested nor desired, deprived a guest in genuine need. Considering the price and the hotel's somewhat remote location overlooking an abandoned hospital, the overall experience was unsatisfactory.

The hotel overall was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Overall the look of the hotel is very nice and well located in the city centre. The room was a really good size and had everything you needed. Complimentary water in the fridges would have been a nice extra. Breakfast was nice, but I could have had more selection in terms of big bowls of yoghurt and other fruit options. The gym was a huge disappointment and was not worth using with very little equipment and weights or weights machines. I would definitely recommend adding more equipment to make it usable. I will be staying here again as I really like the hotel and the staff were really great.

The location is a little tricky to get to negotiating the Aberdeen one way traffic system and parking is very limited on site, however they do offer a discount code for parking at the nearby Bon Accord multi-story. The Deluxe Room was palatial, with a king sized bed (firm but very comfortable mattress) & a sofa bed if I was naughty (but it wasn't required). The room also had additional seating, a wardrobe and a writing desk. The Bathroom had a seperate upright bath and a shower stall with a dual nozzle for standard or rain shower effects. The supplied shower gel and shampoos were well used over our weekend. Breakfast options were more than adequate with both continental and full scottish fry up options on top of cereals, fruit juices, tea and coffee. The on-site Chop & Grill restaurant offered a plentiful selection of starter, main and dessert options for lunch and dinner.

The TV screen size could have been a little bigger given the size of the room. The shower basin floor could benefit from anti slip dots, but its a minor detail.

The room was good, a little dark as the windows were very high up in the room we had, but there were plenty of lighting options in the room. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Then communal areas were fitted out with quality furniture and there was plenty of seating in all areas. The two bars were both excellent and the staff efficient and friendly. Breakfasts were good and had food for a wide variety of tastes.

TVs in the bar area also used for breakfasts showed the news with no audio but non had subtitles on, which was a bit annoying. The whiskey bar, was closed on a Thursday evening, this was my preference bar as it was furnished like a gentleman's club and was the quieter bar with a more relaxed atmosphere. Smokers were always gathered around the two entrances to the hotel and into the small undercover pre foyer area and you had to walk through them on entering and leaving the hotel. It also meant that this area often had cigarette ends littering the area.

The hotel is located in a very nice building and it is close to the main area of the city with the Art gallery down the road. The entrance is impressive, modern and has good design. As we visited just before the Christmas holidays the decoration was lovely. Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel room was clean and tidy with great ambiance, the bathroom was relatively big and comfortable to use for 3 people.

Breakfast included gluten free options, but would be nice to see some alternative options for people with other dietary restrictions. Overall, still great selection of breakfast dishes and good value for the price. The hotel room had a TV, however there were some discoloured sections on the screen.

Spacious room with kitchenette, handy with family. Spotless modern hotel. Breakfast was ok but the maitre d was so kind and remembered us and the children each morning. Dinner in the chop bar was lovely as were the drinks, bit more expensive but very nice.

Bed itself was comfy but pillows very lumpy., sofa bed was fine for our 6 year old but would be the limit as quite uncomfortable and unable to take our weight. Be careful about parking as the spaces behind the hotel get taken up quite early in evening, and would need to go to overflow. Wherever you park it woul cost you £12. As a single woman I was apprehensive at walking back from overflow so managed to get a space on the street the night we missed a space, £5 until 10am the next morning if you park after 6pm..

The room was good and satisfied our expectations. Location was also ok. I liked the fact that the hotel had a fitness centre which had a few cardio training machines and regular dumbbells.

It would have been good to have a breakfast to complement the hotel facilities, it was quite limited and monotonous so became rather boring after a few days at the hotel. The dining area also had a funny and quite offensive smell and the waiters had a cleaning station in the middle of the dining area which was a sore sight in my opinion. Everything else was good except for the dining experience at breakfast. The gym was also not well equipped but I understand the room is small

Good location Great facilities in room; microwave, coffee/tea, iron & board. Double bed more like a king/super king Room size good Onsite restaurant and spa which we didnt get to use, but wish to come back and try!

Could see the shower needs a good scrubbing/bleach applied to grout to remove the mould and glass lamp shades didnt look clean. Reception tried to upgrade us for extra, the benefits being a larger bed and bigger room. We personally thought our basement double was a king and the room was decent size so would have paid extra when not necessary.
