Very good location central for shops bars restaurants. Bus and train station nearby. Room was clean and comfortable complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was good with a choice of cooked and cold options juices fruit, tea and coffee. Staff very friendly and helpful Will certainly have a return visit

Central location

Felt like there was a staff shortage as not much staff going about. On arrival we had to queue to check-in and there wasn’t much staff on at breakfast. Breakfast felt disorganised. We didn’t receive a ‘good morning’ or cheery welcome, just took room number and moved on to people behind us in queue, wasn’t shown to a table, we were just left to wander through dining room to find a clean, set table. Only one coffee machine working. Food hot and good enough choice but not a big dining room for size of hotel. Went and asked for a tea spoon but was told they didn’t have any, odd, then waitress turned her back, wasn’t offered a solution or alternative!!

After a long train journey up north the location of the hotel was a great joy to me. One minute walking from the station and I was there! It is also good that the hotel is attached to the shopping centre because it gives lots of choices for food and there is also a cinema as well as shopping, if that's what you want. It's not far to Union street either, which seems to be the heart of the centre. The staff were happy to accommodate my vegan diet and made porridge for me the first morning.

The pillows were far too firm and therefore I didn't get as good a night's sleep as I could have done. Could have done without the fire alarm one evening but that was not anything the hotel could control.

We liked how friendly the room staff that cleaned are rooms any thing we asked it was no trouble lovely people. The room was very nice and clean the bed we didn't want to get out of it was very comfortable. The restaurant and bar staff very friendly. Reception staff some were not very approachable. But we loved are stay very pleasurable and enjoyed are stay at the Leonardo hotel very much. And will be definitely coming back soon. As that was are second time. And is are happy place the hotel and surrounding places to go.

Nothing just wish that there was a restaurant in the evening so you could have a special meal but there was lovely food available would have liked a two or three course meal. Overall the food was excellent Happy with the choices that was available. Would definitely recommend the food at the Leonardo Hotel.

I must commend all the staff we encournered during our staff. They all had a very friendly and helpful manor. I would particularly like to mention the young man that was on the main reception on our check in and again the following day on our check out. He was extremly helpful, just seemed happy to help too and nothing was a hassle. He is an absolute credit to your team. I had made some pre visit requests, the key one being ajoining rooms, with a view out onto Guild street, and was very pleased that this was accomodated so easiliy, thank you.

Wonderful handicapped room, spacious, beautiful view of Aberdeen city centre, we couldn't have been more comfortable. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant with the standard pub fare, but pub fare done with a flair. Excellent, as was the breakfast.

We forewarned there is NO PARKING at the hotel and no legal space to drop off baggage. Guest have to park about a half mile away in a public lot and take a variety of stairs and elevators through the shopping center and rail station to get to the hotel. If you are handicapped, as I am with a cane and difficulty walking, this hotel may not be everyone's cup of tea. On our departure, the shopping center and rail station elevators were not working and it took my wife and me one hour to move our bags from the hotel to the public parking lot. Outrageous!

Our recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Everything was thoughtfully organized, ensuring we had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. What truly stole the show was the breathtaking view from our room. The panoramic view of the city was simply mesmerizing, especially at night when the lights sparkled like a dream. The overall service, combined with the hotel’s attention to detail, made our stay an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality.

Fantastic location when looking for a quick business or layover trip with the train station and choice of restaurants all under one roof. The staff were exceptionally helpful, more so than I've experienced in more expensive hotels. I expected a budget hotel and was very pleasantly surprised by the comfort and cleanliness. When I spotted they had meeting rooms and enquired about future stays with them, the reception staff went out of their way to show me around and provide further details. No-brainer to stay here again.

The fantastic location, indeed unbeatable. Right in the middle of a shopping mall, with the central bus and train station practically attached. Ferries to Shetland and other liners are a few minutes away. Really close to downtown bars, theatres, Vue cinema, etc. Friendly staff. Perhaps this is the most important feature feature of this hotel.

My rom was in the 1st floor, with a terrible view. Better to have curtains and see nothing at all. There is no safety box in the room, although the service is offered free of charge at the reception. It was difficult to regulate temperature in the room, I was often cold. Some guests in the hotel could be well heard from my room: talking loud in the corridor as if they were in a pub. Importantly, the reading light is quite poor in the room.

We love the location of the Leonardo Aberdeen. Right in the shopping centre, what could be better? We chose this time to upgrade our room (message from booking.com a couple of days before our stay) and I would definitely do this again. The enormous bed was blissfully comfortable and the earlier check in and later check out are so helpful to fit in with ferry times. The drinks/coffee vouchers were a nice surprise too. All the staff were friendly and super-helpful.

Breakfast isn't a great deal for us as we're vegan. Although we can eat from the buffet breakfast it doesn't seem such good value for us, especially with other places to eat nearby.
