Parking place a bit worrisome looking but any urban place probably would be. Room noisy.

The location of this hotel is ideal for the city centre and minutes from the train station. Been through a well done, lovely refurbishment, giving a modern feel but in keeping with the traditional style of the hotel.

Minor dislike is that room was quite warm and no ability to to adjust other than opening window, which resulted in lots of noise from traffic and seagulls 😞 earplugs are kindly provided but personally don't like using these. Also, would love if Scottish hotels would provide traditional 'lorne' sausage as an option for breakfast, as much prefer these to the herby link sausages always provided.

Location is excelent, I’ve booked just a double room but is was perfect for me and my husband. Very clean, nice and cosy. I would’ve liked to be able to open the window a bit for some fresh air or to hear the seagulls in the morning. Also my shower temperature was either cold or boiling, so we had to have baths all the time. The sink was also clogged s-o it was quite annoying. I didn’t try the restaurant because the dreadful fish and chips smell that was allover recepțion area every evening put us off. Also there was a strange chambermaid in the lift on 2 mornings, her face on her arm on the wall, asking what floor we need, pushing to get out of the lift in front of the guests. Maybe claustrophobia? I don’t know what her issues are, but it looked unpleasant and uncomfortable for the customers. I couldn’t see her name. On the whole, we’ve had a nice time, thank you

Very happy with our 3 night stay after choosing the hotel on price and location. Excellent value for money if you book in advance and the location couldn't be better if you wanted the city centre and were arriving by train like us. Clean spacious room and comfy bed. Liked the breakfast. Not fantastic but perfectly good. Staff very friendly and helpful on reception and in the dining room.

Didn't know what to expect because there are some bad reviews saying it's dark and tired. Well it was a little like that in places. On arrival I couldn't decide whether the landing carpet was dirty and stained but it was just the colour and pattern. The bedroom furniture had a definite used look in places but nothing serious. Would have liked a bedside light each but we only had bedside cabinets. The morning after I thought the overall decor of the hotel was good and we thought that some of the reviewers had been unkind. Our TV remote didn't work but it was fixed the next day so thanks for that.

The Station Hotel left a very good impression. Its location is just perfect, right outside the railway station (as it was originally the building of the station office). While the building doesn't look particularly appealing from the street, the interior is elegant. It has a dual character, combining an old, traditional, almost Romantic staircase with convenient, modern rooms. The breakfasts and High Teas are delicious, refined, and beautifully presented. The staff are kind and helpful

As Aberdeen is a harbor city, it can be quite windy. Our window closed properly, so we weren't cold, but it was rather noisy as the wind rattled the window during the nights.

Room was lovely and very tidy/clean. Room was warm on hot days, but I found it comfortable to sleep. The bathroom was stunning and the best i’ve had in a hotel. Didn’t need to interact with much staff but they were very friendly, and housekeeping was excellent. It was quiet at night with no noise. Location is handy as right across from union square and a short walk to union street that both all the good shops.

Although I found it comfortable to sleep my partner was very warm at nights due to the lack of AC/Windows opening. One of the days we stayed there was work going on in the room next to us so it was quite loud from 9am to later on in the day, however they stopped at a reasonable time and we weren’t in much throughout the day for it to have been a big issue.

4th time staying at this hotel and can not fault it, for it being an old building, you do hear people walking in the rooms above you and the doors closing but didn't bother us for sleeping. Train station right across from the hotel, perfect if you're travelling with little ones, spacious rooms, and comfortable beds. Close to everything we wanted to do, which is amazing, didn't eat at the hotel as my little one is fussy, but plenty places nearby and the food court right across from the hotel so plenty to choose from if you don't want to stay in the hotel. Every staff member was happy and greeted you with a smile. Will always recommend the Station Hotel to friends that want to visit Aberdeen.

The hotel is in a really handy location right across from the train station and bus station. It’s in a nice, period building. It has good public spaces, nice restaurant and bar. Guests get 20% off food in the restaurant which is good. Beds are comfortable and staff are friendly. I think for the price you pay the hotel is a good option. It also has some good sized family rooms which are great when travelling with children.

Only thing that annoyed me this time was the parking. Driving in the city centre centre is stressful due to the new bus lanes they have put in (not the hotels fault). However, trying to find their car parks which are at the rear of the building is difficult if you don’t know the area well. There is no proper signage to guide you and one isn’t really a car park. It’s just a space at the rear where I had no idea where you could park. The hotel should really help guests more by putting in proper signage and marking where you can park. There is actually a good car park at union square which it would be better just to direct people to which costs £10 for 24 hours.
