I didn't have breakfast, although from what I could see the food looked great. I did have snack food which was great and well presented. I walked a lot in and around the city and to and from the University. Although, I found it quite a long walk it was doable for a not so young person. I also used public transport, to and from the AB24 area. I found this to be good and with frequent buses available.

Regarding the Globe Inn, I liked everything. In terms of the city, it was sad for me to see a lot of unique buildings not being used for their original purpose. I think they should all be retained as listed buildings so that they can be kept for the future. It would be so sad if the granite buildings were torn down and I hope I'm not the only person who feels this.

The location is right in the centre of Aberdeen and everything around Aberdeen is within walking distance (including the harbor and the beach). Parking was easy and free of charge in a close by parking lot of a decommissioned office building. The inn is on top of a pub that is very lively and very cozy. The locals visit regularly and the restaurant is always full in the evenings. The meals are very tasty and reasonably priced, with plenty of choice. Same for the drinks. Both the inn and the pub have a cozy look and feel, like they come right out of a classic novel. The room was sufficiently big and comfortable, with a small table we could use as desk (for necessary schoolwork). The bathroom and room were perfectly clean, and the room was tidied up daily while we were out. The host and staff were always friendly and accommodating, both in providing information on getting around, meal times, special meal requests, etc.

No complaints, would visit again!

The pub itself is welcoming and the bedroom, although a small double, was cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Despite the room being over the pub, there was very little noise pollution. The location was excellent, especially in regard to where I was working for the week. The staff were very welcoming and polite. I really enjoyed my stay.

The only quibble was that there was a faint smell of smoke in the room. This was due to the beer garden being just below my bedroom window. Thanks to the comfortable surroundings, it wasn’t an issue for me.

Wonderful pub hotel set in a great area of Aberdeen's city centre - yet we were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful it was. The pub and hotel staff were extremely friendly upon arrival and we managed to enjoy a tasty meal at the pub after checking in. The room was very cosy and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The decor was tasteful and in keeping with the pub's style and most importantly the bed was really comfortable. Had a great stay - would return if we ever stay in Aberdeen again.

The only small gripe we had was that the room was a little on the small side - but still comfortable and spacious enough for a weekend getaway.

The room was lovely and clean and everything you needed such as hairdryer, toiletries, coffee and tea making facilities. Bed super comfy and nice quilt. The full breakfast was a really good helping and good value for £10. We had a meal in the bar which was very enjoyable. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Handy for the city centre and would definitely consider a return visit 😀

Only drawback was the bar below us which was open til 11. They had a student quiz night on when we were there which made it a bit noisy. We could hear it from our room but not too bad. On the plus side a nice wee pub to have a drink in without having to go to far!

I arrived later than expected and the warm and friendly welcome I got from staff was great. It is the first time I have stayed at The Globe Inn and will certainly stay again. The room was excellent, modern, warm, spotlessly clean and well presented, tea, coffee etc was provided which was needed after a long road trip. Shower was piping hot and powerful unlike other places I have stayed at in Aberdeen. To make things even better I could kick back and watch the football as the room had Sky TV, not many places I've stayed at provide that service in the room.

Nothing. Next time I will try the food there as I had already eaten, but the menu looked very good.

Loved the friendliness of the staff, the location was central and they showed us a free car park place. Overall the room was compact but it did not deter us. Honestly recommend The Globe Inn. I also encourage anyone who stays to go to the Quiz they have on a Monday night. Superb!

The room got quite hot, even with the window open. I don't think that can be helped but it's good to know.

Nice little Inn, perfectly located in the heart of the center of Aberdeen, neer the Music Hall. Busy pub, nice pub food and great atmosphere. Staff was friendly and very welcoming. Rooms are small but sufficient.

Nothing to complain. Take into account if you travel by car, that the Inn has no parking space. There are a lot of possibilities to park your car in the neighbourhood but prices vary. Ask the staff, they give good advice.

Beautiful room, spacious and comfortable. The staff are genuinely amazing. Will be staying there for sure again. Pub is really cute, quiz night was fully packed. Every night there were locals and they were all super nice. Reception was warm and welcoming upon arrival and even helped me with my bags to my room on the second floor.

Bed was too comfy, didn't want to get up in the morning, lol. But seriously though, nothing to fault.

- there's nowhere to park for free, and all local paid parking is for a max of 2 hours (£5.40) until 8pm, after which it's free. This means either constantly moving the car,.or risking getting a ticket/clamped. - room was very hot and window only opens 6"
