Hotel was fabulous. We were on floor 4 and the room having 2 queen beds was ideal for 2 friends having a girlie night away. Beds had nice firm mattresses which I like; however pillows were far too soft. It had a fridge, safe, iron and ironing board as well as coffee and tea making facilities. We also had access to the executive lounge which we did use but only for tea and coffee but it was nice to relax in a comfy and quiet space. Location was excellent as we were attending the Ball & Boe concert at the P&J Live next door. We also had breakfast included in the price and it was very busy when we went down around 8.45am as we had to queue for around 30 mins. Despite being busy there was ample food. However fried eggs were a bit overdone. Also queues for tea and coffee. As I booked the room last minute price was higher than I would normally pay but because there were 2 of us we split the bill between the 2 of us and we agreed it was worth the money. Staff are a credit to the hotel always being friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Cannot comment on parking as we did not use car parks as got dropped off and picked up from hotel by a family member.

Liked Friendly staff, decor, cleanliness, aesthetically pleasing hotel The pool, sauna and steam room really lovely, well maintained and kept. Disliked The mattresses, in an executive queen room, neither bed mattress was comfortable at all. A roll to centre issue with both in room. Unfortunately a poor night's sleep due to the type of mattress and the roll factor too. Simply uncomfortable Personal preference for firmer pillows, the pillows too soft for me. Breakfast was nice Sausages and the bacon lovely, and thankfully eggs cooked to order on request , I had poached eggs these were lovely thankyou. Unfortunately the fried eggs out on hot plate overcooked, my preference for a soft fried egg no frazzled edge etc . A little disappointed with hash browns , soggy texture , this may be due to not being fully drained or how they were stacked on hot plate, side by side causing condensation/ moisture Again person taste the black pudding I found too coarse. My husband thoroughly enjoyed though 😍 My husband tried the fresh pa cake maker, a little fiddly but good once managed some residue from orevious panckw made stuck to roller i think He tried a couple of the pastries but found them slightly under baked, a raw dough texture and taste on the base. I would guess these possibly supplied could have benefitted from a little longer baked. I was sad to see no grapefruit juice out as I prefer a sharper juice, the orange etc too sweet again my personal taste. Over all though, a lovely hotel Great location for P&,J Spa area a delight stunning and well maintained as mentioned Staff lovely and welcoming Ambiance & decor couldn't fault Cleanliness fabulous 👌 Unfortunately the mattress and poor sleep dampened our mostly fab experience.

Very well presented, clean, easy to get around. Special mention to Jennifer on the desk who was very polite and helpful. The night team were very helpful charging my phone for me when my cable stopped working. Restaurant was very good and service was excellent.

When we checked-in and went for a drink the young lad (with hearing aids) was trying to man the bar, serve drinks, and show people to their seats in the restaurant which I thought was poor. However, he done an amazing job and 5 mins later there were more colleagues helping him. The room was too warm and no way of turning the heating down as it was set to 24 degrees.

The suite was huge. It had a comfortable bed and massive bathroom. The lounge had a great view and comfortable furniture. The reception was welcoming and the staff were attentive. The spa was beautiful, peaceful and clean. We could have stayed longer if our trip had allowed.

We paid a fair price for the suite - there was a lovely coffee machine provided but nothing in the mini bar not even a piece of shortbread.... We also had to pay extra for our car parking - this felt a little bit stingy. I would have paid a little bit more for my room to have these extras included but an additional £15 for parking on top felt unnecessary.

Great location if you’re visiting P & J Live, comfortable rooms, with no outside noise.

Check in was incredibly busy, with queues almost out the door, but only 2 members of staff working the desks. I asked if there was the option to have unsmoked bacon on my burger, but was told there was no unsmoked bacon as even the breakfast bacon was smoked. Lo and behold the next morning at breakfast the bacon was unsmoked. Sounds like someone in the kitchen couldn’t be bothered finding me unsmoked bacon. 🙄 When returning from P & J Live we came through the bar, which was the way we had gone only to be met by a barrier and a member of staff telling us we had to go back outside and around the hotel to the other door. This was very poor customer service indeed.

Everything! It's a stunning and intelligently decorated Hotel with an instantly calming effect, I swear even the air flow in there was tranquil. The lighting is perfect, especially in the pool area . I felt like I was staying in a brand new Hotel, it's very well kept and spotlessly clean, I found all the staff eager to help and happy to do so, literally thinking of excuses to go back already or figuring out how to move in permanently.

No dislikes anything I say here only stood out as everything else was so flawless. The steam room has a gap in the door which is letting the steam out - totally fixable and may be a new issue. There were a couple of other things but honestly have forgotten them as stay on a whole was a wonderful experience.

The location is amazing. Breakfast excellent. All staff excellent except the one I got at check-in.

Check-in was terrible. The staff member was surly. I have problems walking and specifically asked about the parking and was not told it was a walking distance uncommonly long for hotels; in addition it was an extra fee (the terrible parking should not be an extra fee). I was also not told there was a pin to be used when I needed to access it to leave; it was an unnecessary stress when leaving for a business meeting. I had a room that looked into the centre of the building. I chose the hotel because it was out of the city; as very few rooms have this terrible outlook it should be advised at booking and the fee for these rooms should be much less. Worst view I have ever had and could not believe what I was paying for it.

Hotel is lovely I think if they offered robes/slippers in the room for the spa facilities it would be a nice touch as you can get a separate lift down there. Also if you use the allocated underground Hilton parking it would be nice if that was free

I left a jacket in the wardrobe, had real trouble getting through to the hotel to advise them before the gave the room to the next guests. No fault of the hotel that I left it but had I been able to reach them I may have got my jacket back, now a lucky guest or employee has a nice new jacket

The spa was amazing, the pool is huge and expertly lit, so its flattering and calming. The room service was exceptional. He went above and beyond for us. Not only did he read the whole menu, he found the gluten-free options and made sure there was no cross contamination. Then he personally delivered it. In my opinion he was the most welcoming person on the staffing team.

The woman on reception was very rude. She couldn't find us on the system and smirked that we didn't have a reservation. We just stayed there and brought this app up, and she was still rude, saying it's not on the system, but it was the way it came across because she kept laughing and smirking. Another receptionist stood in and found us on the system. She spelt my name wrong. We had a question as the menu wasn't on paper. it's on the tv. The man didn't want to help or do anything he just said its on your TV, but it wasn't. we looked for an hour before calling room service. The lovely man read the whole menu to us very patently, and room service gave the best service.

Staff were exceptional. Very professional helpful knowledgeable and polite.

2 minor "issues" encountered during stay. One of which was reported the other was left out. 1st , toilet wasn't cleaned prior to getting the room bowl had previous users "stains" in the bowl. Not reported to staff. 2nd , sink was blocked although water was draining it took a long time to drain sink at least 15 mins every time we used the sink (this was with the plug totally removed) . The was reported.
