Clean friendly staff

I thought it was false advertising stating it had a pool and only after paying for the stay receiving an email saying pool was closed at the weekends

Close access to Aberdeen, very clean throughout, very good breakfast, great value for money.

Bit disappointing that I had to pay an extra 6 pound for parking overnight at the hotel, where I already paid 88 pound for the room, also there was no shower gel/shampoo in the room for me to wash myself with, I was staying there as my partner was giving birth in Aberdeen and was kept in overnight after the birth of the baby so I had to stay at a hotel, didn’t have any toiletries with me as expected the hotel would have them, had to end up cleaning my body with the tiny hand soap bar that you would wash your hands with.

Pleasantly surprised when walking in from the outside you don’t expect it to look as nice as it did. Beautiful hotel although rooms could do with a bit updating

I was in communication prior to arriving for our stay in regards to booking the swimming pool. Was advised we did not need to book but when we turned up to swim it was fully booked and we had to wait to see if anyone didn’t show for there booking before we could have access. Not a huge biggie however when I specifically asked about this it was a bit disappointing.

Great price for the room. Lovely hotel, modern and spacious room with large bed and they happily gave us ground floor accommodation as I am disabled. I am also coeliac and was well looked after during dinner to make sure all was ok with our order. Swimming pool and gym is free for guests and is really nice to use.

Although the room was a good price, you do have to pay for parking and the restaurant is not cheap (compared to the room price). Also breakfast is £15.95 and as a coeliac I was very limited in what I could eat as they could not guarantee any of the cooked food was safe to eat, they did bring me GF bread when I asked for toast and then proceeded to put it in the communal toaster beside everyone else's bread, I had a yoghurt and fruit! A stark difference to the evening meal we had.

The cooked breakfast was extremely good, and cost me less than expected. The room was big and comfortable. The location suited me as I was visiting Bridge of Don next day and the price was reasonable.

The heating was nice and warm but seemed noisy. Reception was quite a walk from the parking. An easy hotel to get lost in as big with various long corridors in different directions. There is a hotel nearby with a similar name except it mentions Airport in its name. My fault for not checking the name properly, but it is easy to go to the wrong one, which looks open but is apparently closed. I rang and got directions from that one.

Staff were very coming and friendly. Susan on reception has to be the most welcoming receptionist I've came across, and even lent me a USB plug (returned to reception so hope it found it's way back to her). Our room was large with a sliding glass door. But the glass was opaque and you couldn't open the door or see through it. This was the one thing I wasn't comfortable with. No window! Food in evening was nice, beware the pizza is huge!

As above, no window which made me uncomfortable. Food in the evening was very nice, but breakfast was pretty cold all round. No USB sockets in the room.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the property. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. The service was prompt and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The cleanliness and upkeep of the room were impressive, with thoughtful details that made my stay extra special. The property’s location was very convenient, being close to my office and a supermarket. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

Overall, my stay was very pleasant; however, there were a couple of minor issues. The safe in the room wasn’t functioning properly, likely due to a battery issue, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, while the breakfast was enjoyable, the selection of fresh fruit felt a bit limited. Addressing these small areas would make the experience even better

The Hotel itself has a great feel to it when you enter with the staff at the desk very nice, the room and pool were excellent as were the meals, the attention you get from the staff is also very good with everyone very helpful and keen to make your experience while with them a good one. We meet Sammie while having our evening and she was really good to chat with as were others as mentioned. Shall be coming to stay again this year for sure a few times as enjoy the whole experience.

There was nothing that came to us that needed attention, as I feel if you have to look for something that is not right straight away then it is not a true reflection.

Good location for attending events at the P&J. Was approx 1.5miles from arena (we walked there in approx 30 minutes). Plenty of parking outside hotel (tho it does cost £6 per 24hrs). Payment machine to get discount rate is in hotel. Check in was smooth and stress free. Bar/Restaurant staff were able to squeeze us in for an early dinner despite being swamped with bookings. Rachel (I think) was really friendly and helpful taking our order as was the on-duty manager (didn’t get his name- bloke in glasses) who didn’t seem to stop as he looked after the guests. The room itself was a good size, the bed was very comfy and was perfect for our one night stay. We also managed to fit in using the pool, which was warm and not too busy. Changing facilities were spotless. The jacuzzi was out of commission however. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style and comprised of both continental and cooked items, all of which were fresh and plentiful. We are in Aberdeen fairly often as our kids play ice hockey against the teams from Aberdeen and I think we have found our new base when we are up again.

Nothing really, although I’m never fully comfortable with hotel guests having to play to use the hotel carpark.

Requested a fridge in the room for medication in advance got no reply. Upon arrival was told I would need to upgrade my room for an extra £25 or the hotel could keep the medication in their fridge. I declined the upgrade cost as it was only for 1 night, arrived in my room to find it had a fridge. Found this strange that reception didn’t know this small detail. However this didn’t dampen our stay so not a criticism as the receptionist was very helpful this point is just to let others know in advance.
