Excellent size bedroom Decent water pressure in Shower Plenty sockets in the right places! Tea/coffee station Excellent staff Good breakfast Bar food (i had a pizza) was decent

Pillows weren't suitable for me. They look big and plump but flatten to nothing and offered little neck support. They may be fine for others, just not me sadly Carpet could have had a good vaccuum! Lots of hairs but I was only there a night! Would have liked a decent height table to eat my dinner on! I was bent double, eating off my lap!! Not the best for an oldie like me!!

Great location, was going to a gig at the P&J and it's across the square, not even a two minute walk. Room was amazing. Huge kingsize bed, plenty of plug sockets everywhere. Bathroom was cool, with a huge shower head above and a body shower head. Room was opposite the lifts and I did think uh-oh but we couldn't hear anything in the room at all. Bar was reasonably price with staff able to make some cocktails (try the side-car, yum). We got the breakfast, which at the weekend goes on to 11am. Perfect for a little lie in and to set you up for the rest of your day.

Car park outside the hotel is a little on the small side and some entitled people with big cars that can't park had taken up 2 spaces, meaning even less cars could get in. Not to fear tho there is plenty of parking around the entire area. This isn't really hotel fault but Its ask for something I didn't like and I am having to grasp straws. Seriously great hotel

great location, liked the parking, like the reception and lobby area (very relaxing) and loved our room! so practical in every way, there were plenty towels, loads of storage in the vanity area and a separate toilet/shower room. Plenty of plugs, a USB beside the bed, a safe in the room, hairdryer and a mini fridge. The blackout blinds were AMAZING! - room was pitch black. We had a room with 2 Double beds and the bed was very comfortable. Nice relaxing lounge area downstairs with nice bar snacks/meals and a lovely bar. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel but the breakfast food area looked nice.

N/A - loved it all

The room was well laid out and had plenty of space. Beds were very comfortable, although pillows were extremely soft and didn't offer any real head support. Great shower.. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Brilliant location for the P&J Live venue.

The parking area was disproportionate to the size of the hotel. Spaces were a good size, but people still parked outside of the markings, meaning there were 5 spaces that could not be used, and several people had to park on the road. . At £15 per night extra, this was rather infuriating, especially also when the room was already over £200!. The parking attendant could have been put to better use, rather than just directing people in when there were no spaces available anyway. . Perhaps he could have ensured spaces were being used correctly instead!

I took my friend away for her 40th Birthday and we had a gig in the P and J live. The location of the hotel was superb as no waiting around afterwards for taxi's etc. It was ideal. The room was clean, very comfortable and I loved the quirkiness of the hotel. The staff were so friendly and couldn't have done more for you if they tried. The breakfast was great value for money and the carpark price for 2 nights was very reasonable.

Our second day, the house keeping never stocked up our tea and coffee and just gave us 1 clean coffee mug and left us with our dirty mug from the morning before.

The hotel is very conveniently situated right next to to the P&J Live (TECA) - making conference accessibility very easy. The ambiance in the lobby is also very nice with lots of tables and chairs, a pool table and bar and quirky decorations. There is also ample parking space for a set rate daily. The room was really well designed and I liked the addition of the desk and the roller blinds which really blocked out the light. The bed was comfortable and the the shower good. The staff were also very friendly and courteous and helped wherever possible. The food on the menu was also good.

The room temperature was too warm and seemed to preset, so I couldn't change it. I also felt that a complimentary bottle of water could have been left in the fridge and some biscuits to go with the tea/coffee facility. This is normally standard fare and other hotels.

The location was great with easy access from the Western Peripheral Route. The rooms are amazing; spotlessly clean and modern. Super comfy bed, blackout blinds and overall great facilities (Fast Wi-Fi, Smart TV and handy desk for working at) and a brilliant combination rain & regular shower. Excellent room layout, very cleverly designed. The breakfast was fresh and very tasty. Can't wait to go back in the future! :)

The only negative was that unfortunately I wasn't greeted by the friendliest or most welcoming reception staff at check-in, to be honest she looked like she couldn't be bothered being there, which was quite disappointing after a long drive to get there. The receptionist at check-out was the complete opposite; very friendly and extremely helpful. Small point but it's the first few minutes arriving at a new hotel which matters.

The room was very comfortable, great beds and bedding, fantastic shower. We booked (and paid for) three adults sharing a room but the facilities in the room only accommodated two. We understood beforehand that two people would need to share one of the two double beds, which was fine. However, there were only enough glasses, mugs, robes, tea, and coffee, pillows etc for two people. We were able to get these provided on request, but I felt that they should have been in the room already. The location is fantastic if attending an event at Teca and the parking was very convenient too, even with bringing two cars. The only other minor complaint was that despite myself (an older lady) and my two adult daughters being the only people present in the bar, we were told we could not use the pool table because it was an “event night” and they didn’t want people becoming out of hand. We tried to reason with the manager but he did not appear willing to think outside the box and would not even allow us a single game.

Lovely hotel, modern fittings and everything worked, although did have to get the engineer in to show us how to work the heating/air conditioning as no in room instructions only on screen of control box, fine if you know what all the icons mean and how many times to had to tap them to work or stop. Fabulous breakfast, everything you could think of was there. Staff very friendly and helpful, even with stupid questions, made you feel nothing was too much bother. Perfect for events at the P&J Live, just a short walk, 2/3 min, depending on how mobile you are.

Could do with more tables to eat at, lots of arm chairs with coffee tables but awkward trying to eat a meal. I would suggest getting rid of the pool table and putting in more tables. I realise the pool table is for the younger generation when they come to events but our event was for the older generation, perhaps not so well catered for, but would not stop us from returning.

Stayed here with my husband whilst we attended Comic Con at the P and J so the location was perfect; just a minute's walk away. The staff went over and above to ensure we had a perfect stay. I found them to be knowledgeable and friendly. The room and hotel were very modern and the bed was exceptionally comfortable although I prefer a firmer pillow which I requested; the staff sent 2 up to our room very promptly and were more than accommodating. Upon arrival to the room; we discovered an issue with the TV. I phoned reception and when they couldn't resolve the problem they moved us to another room just along the corridor. The views from the window were stunning and the hotel was very clean; as was our room. I liked that the blinds were completely blackout too. The shower was very good and all toiletries were supplied. Also we had a safe and a fridge in our room. Everything we could possibly need! I liked that the hotel foyer had books and board games available to use during the stay. We will definitely be returning to this hotel

The hotel was quite warm and we found our room to be too. Despite adjusting the air con; we could not find a comfortable room temperature at times
