Room was of a good standard, clean and peefect for a single night stay. Staff very polite and informative, easy check in. Cooked breakfast included is great value for money and was very nice.

I originally booked this hotel 12th Fen for a stay that evening. Unfortunately I had put March instead of Feb, honest mistake and was told by reception to just go online and cancel. For 3 days I continued to message on Booking.com and kept getting out replies. In the end I gave up and just ensured that I needed a hotel 12th March for that area and used the booking.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the weekend. Rooms very spacious and bed comfy. Tea, coffee facilities in room with bonus of biscuits! Breakfast was very good, buffet continental and brought full English to you. Central location to bars and restuarants. Highly recomended and would return again in future.

Room got alittle hot through night and radiator could not be turned down. We kept window open all night to cool room down

Nice to be able to use the lift to get to our room, easy to use and to be able to find breakfast area so easily just a few walking steps from the lift, the only thing I could that was at fault was no hand rail at the Main entrance being a disabled person, other than than that could not have asked for a nice Central Location Hotel in Barrow in furness.

It would be nice if there was a hand rail at the Entrance of the building to help people with disabilities .

A very conveniently located hotel for central Barrow and the Town Quay, with pleasant, clean rooms. The breakfast was good, better than I expected for the price.

While I am sorry that the behaviour of guests makes a security deposit necessary for the hotel, I wassn't exactly overjoyed to be told about this a few days before my stay - maybe it should have been clearer during the booking process. To be fair dealing with the deposit itself went with no problems at all - the deposit was returned promptly.

Reception staff on both days we were there were excellent, thank you. Room 220 was very well maintained with lovely carpet and adequate facilities. Although hotel is being refurbished there was no inconvenience and public areas were fine. Breakfast was hot and good quality. Quiet area with no traffic noise. Bus stop 2 minutes away which can take you to railway station or you can walk there in 15 mins.

Loud tv in dining room whilst having breakfast wasn't for us.

Lovely room, beautifully decorated. The building is currently undergoing renovation, so the frontage is hidden behind scaffolding and you can tell there are works underway… But the areas I made use soft were beautifully decorated i’m very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent I had a delicious cooked breakfast and also had the option of Danish pastries, fruit, yoghurts and more.

The property is currently under renovation, so some areas are not as one would expect - but I was warned of this before arrival, and I have no complaints. It’s just something to be aware of.

Double room was a good size. Single room not quite as good and the window wouldn't open. Rooms were very warm, but comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff were very accommodating. Parking is off road and just beside the hotel which eax fab.

Rooms were a bit hot and one window wouldn't open, built radiators could be turned off and staff were happy to give a fan.

I thought the breakfast rather good with a good choice of breads, pastries, cereal, juice and a full English with an apple to go. The room heating system is incredible with easy to use radiator dials. The water was instantly hot with great pressure for an upper floor. The shower and porcelain basin, toilet and chrome excellent. 🚿🚽👍👏💡👌

I didn't like to leave. It's a shame about the damage done to the fitted beige stair carpet. Dark stains from something dragged along the bends😩

Room 208. Recently renovated, large room and bathroom including bath. Lovely staff and superb breakfast included in price. Convenient location for The Forum etc.

Room very warm - thankfully fan provided. Increased heat possibly due to netting along scaffolding outside building. Asked for car registration when checking in - suspect there may have been a private carpark in building next to hotel but no information on this. Had already parked in public carpark (Market Street, opposite, for £4 for three hours until chargeable time ended at 6pm on Saturday).

The rooms were beyond my expectation, very clean, spacious, modern and I had a good sleep. And to top it up the staff were exceptional; they are truly the heart of hospitality. Breakfast was great value for money. Well-done to the front of the house team and the elderly woman at breakfast.

Nothing really, understandable the hotel is under refurbishment but the rooms and staff, breakfast make up for it.
