The room and the host were both LOVELY, she even went out of her way to get oat milk for me for morning coffee. I forgot my hairdryer and she kindly lent me one to use. The room nice and homely, it had a comfortable little bed, a nice clean bathroom- and it might not be city centre but it was the perfect location for the work I was doing this week near Titanic. Super handy and if I’m back up for more work in the studio I will definitely be back :)

The only small issue I had was one guest in the neighbouring room on my last night. I was doing some work which required a small bit of quiet singing at around 6pm; they banged loudly on the wall within minutes and I was unable to do my work for the rest of the last evening. They then woke me up at 6am talking very very loudly during the ‘quiet hours’ (9pm-7am). Of course that is no reflection on the property or the lovely host but maybe worth mentioning to the host if you are there for work purposes or if you need to do a small bit of work in the room to ensure it will work with the other guests. :)

Staff were lovely and a pleasure to chat to, the room we stayed in was obviously renovated recently enough and despite appearing to be an older building was lovely and warm on this wintery night with a beautiful, large bathroom with a separate tub and shower. Parking was free onsite and felt secure enough since it was towards the back of a long driveway so you couldn't see the car from the road or just walking by.

Breakfast wasn't great, fruit, cereal, yoghurt and tea/coffee/juice only. Some bread and pastries, maybe meats and cheeses are more expected of a "continental breakfast". Was a bit difficult to find with both my map apps taking me into the housing estate around the back - maybe this could be updated?

I had a wonderful experience staying at Ashfield Bed & Breakfast in Belfast. From start to finish, everything was smooth and well-organized. The self-check-in process with key codes was straightforward and convenient, making arrival stress-free. The value for money is outstanding—you get comfort, cleanliness, and a great location without breaking the bank. The breakfast was simple yet pleasant, just what you need to start your day off right. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and hassle-free stay in Belfast!

Arrive was good but had to call to find what room was ours being we arrived after 6 pm. But got my question answered after a pone call. Never got the email telling me what room, It was very nice being on the ground floor. The room size was nice for a triple room we weren’t tripping over or suitcases. Breakfast was nice and assorted, Micheal laid out a great breakfast, the dining room was spotless, fresh French press coffee, juices boiled eggs and great selection of foods. The whole place was clean. The Belfast City airport is a 10 to12 min drive away.

The shower needed something on the shower floor, very, very slippery. We’re not no spring chickens, very easy to lose footing, I used the hand towel on the floor and hung it up afterwards inside of shower.

The b&b is in a great location, there is plenty of parking, easy to access the room key, good directions for same. The room was lovely, very comfortable, gorgeous bathroom with a bath and waterfall shower.

The only one thing was it was a bit noisy at times, you could hear quite clearly the people in the next room and some over head banging of some type, maybe someone upstairs, this however wouldn't put me off staying again.

Very friendly and helpful host. He welcomed us on arrival and offered local tips for dinner. He was very approachable and available. As we were leaving early he kindly explained how we could help ourselves to breakfast provisions before we headed to the airport. The location is excellent for people on early flights like us - literally 5 minutes from George Best airport. The property is set well back from the road so it’s quiet. Plenty of onsite parking. Nice hot showers and comfortable beds.

The surrounding area isn’t very appealing however it didn’t matter much given we were there only a night and it’s close to the airport. Not a lot of sound proofing between the rooms. We could hear the guy in the next room coughing through the night.

The room was charming, the beds comfortable, the breakfast varied and delicious, and the whole property homey and welcoming. My husband got food poisoning while we were there and the staff let us stay in the lounge area far beyond our checkout time while he was recovering. The location is perfect for exploring the C.S. Lewis trail. Just a 10/10 experience overall!

The only thing confusing was there was no bin or designated place for breakfast dishes. I would have liked to help clean up a bit instead of just leaving my dishes on the table!

Excellent B and B. Rooms small but well equipped, immaculately clean and freshly decorated everywhere. Superb hot and powerful shower. Good continental breakfast, kept topped up, including cheese and ham, eggs, pastries etc etc and fresh ground coffee. Ideal for the City Airport.

The only negative is that the walls are paper thin, so when next door is their bathroom it sounds like they are in your room! So I would recommend earplugs or Sleep Buds, if you are a light sleeper.

The B&B is at a very accessible location just outside the city centre. It was straightforward to take a bus 3A or 3B from city hall to the Carol Hill bus stop, the buses are reliable and available very 15-30mins on weekdays, £2.20 adult single. There are small convenience stores within a short walk or a larger Tesco (a bit further to walk) nearby. The rooms was fresh, bright and clean. Shower was very good and towel provided. Breakfast on a self service basis but an excellent buffet selection including breads, meat, ham, eggs, yoghurt, cereals, fruit.

Very minimal to not like, the towel rail attachment was slightly wobbly in room 1. Small amount of noise between areas but not disturbing.

Continental breakfast, plenty of cereals, yogurt, boiked eggs ham ,cheese ,white and brown bread. Toaster and microwave plus croissants, pain au chocolats

Only thing is when light turned on in en suite the fan turns on and stays on for long time after light switched off. It is really noisy, must be nuisance for room above. If you nip into toilet at night, you may waken several people. Room 5
