In the main the Hotel was very nice and the staff were very friendly. The location of the Hotel was great

I found our room to be particularly dark even with all of the lights on. It was also very warm in the room. You could feel the heat difference as soon as we entered the corridor to our room. The window in 408 is pretty small and very fiddly to operate. We couldn't keep it fully open during the night incase we banged our head on it. It is also very difficult to open and close the blind as you have to climb on the bed to do so, some people would really struggle to do so (elderly for example)

We stayed for our wedding anniversary. The staff and location were superb ! The room was wonderful and we were thrilled with our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and it was the best sleep i've had in months !

The cleaners were very loud in the morning and were right outside our bedroom door because we were next to the lifts I suppose. The cleaner tried to access our room and claimed we were 'checked out on the system'. She did apologise but I could have been in the shower or still asleep as we still had over 1.5 hours until our required check out time. That being said everything else was wonderful.

Loved everything from the moment we walked in until we left. Celebrated my son's 9th birthday, had dinner and breakfast. Food is exceptional and staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. Had the best egg benedict breakfast ever. They also serve the most perfect french fries on earth. The room looked very stilish and had everything we needed. Wish my own bed was just as comfortable. The linen smells lovely ... the soap and shower gel had a fragrance so luxurious and lush. Every little detail exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be coming back for a romantic date night! Thanks to reception staff, Robert and Natalia for everything.

Absolutely nothing.

This was a lovely hotel .. I found it quiet .. except for when (I think it was)the air conditioning kicked in ..every so often .it kept my family member awake but it didn’t bother me so much .. only thing was the shower room ( as there was no bath) was very small .. the sink seemed that bit too big for the space .. so it was very cramped .. but for the one night we were there it was fine .. I think if I was staying longer the tight space would have bothered me a bit .. the breakfast is nice but 3 eggs on a full Irish is just too much .. I think maybe ask the person do they want 3 eggs .. because 1 egg would have done me , if I had known .. the bacon wasn’t the best a bit too over done .. the coffee was lovely and there was a great selection of yogurt cereal and pastries , but we had to keep asking first butter because they only had margarine out .. but it was nice all the same ..a bit pricey but we were only there for one night ..as it was near the train station..

Nothing it was a nice hotel all in all

Very accommodating for our baby, the housekeeping staff made a little towel bunny etc in his cot, which was very sweet. Nappy bin provided - great. Room was clean, comfy, decor in keeping with the local area, bar was stunning, bar manager made me mocktails off the menu, and my partner says it was the best Long Island iced teas.

It’s not the hotels fault at all, but there are two people sleeping rough across the street. Every time my partner went for a smoke, they were over asking for cigarettes, lighters, money etc. one of them pulled the finger at me when I got caught staring 🫣 and the next morning when we left the hotel, you could see large piles of vomit where they had been sleeping.

Hotel is beautiful. Rooms spotless.. Bed so comfortable. Anything you need in room. Great selection at breakfast..

Pillows were not good for me. Very soft which for someone else is prob perfect. No residents bar which would of been nice coming back a nightcap would of been lovely. Breakfast was OK but left to 1 lady to deal with wasn't good. No orange juice left, other items low and to be honest lady was too busy to ask for more. Not hotels fault but iron was up full when I used it (my fault for not checking too) ironing a brand new top I burnt it. In the bin it went. Iron is now turned down low.

The staff at Malmaison are wonderful! Chloe, Karen and Brian were all extremely friendly and helpful. Although I didn't get to meet him, Eamonn was very helpful in securing a discounted stay for me, since I was in Belfast on a research trip and needed a place to stay for nearly two weeks. When you are there for that long, the small things do matter, and still my stay was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, as well as being quiet and with good wifi. Essential elements since I had to work in my room. I have stayed here for short stays and enjoyed that, but the details mattered more with this long stay, especially the friendliness of staff. For those who never have visited Belfast, Malmaison's location is ideal: located in the Cathedral Quarter, so many pubs, restaurants and attractions are a five-minute walk. I have a return trip planned for February and will of course book Malmaison.

This is a small matter, but housekeeping had run out of Nespresso and other in-room items. If I were a traveler on holiday, I probably wouldn't have noticed or minded, but as someone working from my room in the morning, it did matter.

We had 2 rooms booked , both with 1x child. 1 room was an adjoining room but we were given our second room on the other side. It would have been a lot easier for us to have adjoining rooms. There was a party in the adjoining room, playing loud music and shouting for what sounded like cocaine. I had to go and fetch the night ported at 0300 ish as no one was answering the phone at reception. He came a long with me and gave me a shocked face when he opened the door to our floor and heard the music from the far end of the corridor. He knocked and banged on the door but no one answered it. It went quiet for a while, then the shouting started again. Such a shame for this to happen as the hotel itself is beautiful, but due to the adjoining rooms issue, I wouldn’t stay again.

We loved the location and our room was clean and comfortable.

Apart from a young man who was on reception early morning of our last day and made us tea and coffee to take on our journey to the airport. We found the two girls who had been on reception previously a little rude. It takes nothing to say hello when your customers come through the doors each day we said morning and got a reply once. That’s our only complaint every thing else was perfect

The hotel was very nice. The location is great and the staff (especially Dagmara from the front desk) was great. Most things are within walking distance of the hotel. We received great tips from Dagmara such as sightseeing tips/ Black Taxi Tour (a must if your interested in the history of Belfast). There is no direct parking at the hotel. We were lucky to arrive on a Saturday and stay until Monday and were able to park on the street for free (thanks again for the tip Dagmara).

The lack of parking space is not hotel specific. So I would say there was nothing I didn't like in particular.
