I love it's location. It's in the perfect position for easy access from the train station and there are plenty of food and drink places near by. The staff are always really pleasant and professional. It also feels very safe

I stayed in the Maldron before, not long after it first opened, so I noticed a big change in the upkeep of the rooms. There were a lot of scuff marks on the walls and the bathroom door was breaking down at the corner. Also noticed some staining on the bedding sheets. The towels for showering are not really big enough unless you are a size 8-10. I realise it's hard to keep maintenance up in a hotel that is so popular, it's just a bit unfortunate

Great location and nice quiet comfortable room, great pubs nearby and easy to get to from airport by bus, bar and food prices a bit pricey but as mentioned quite a few pubs and eateries right by hotel that are less pricey

Breakfast was adequate but not the best, but did have plenty of choice, so perhaps just my taste buds, as you could have as much as we wanted of cereal, cooked breakfast , Tea & coffee just no pastries, ate at the hotel for 2 mornings and then went to greggs round the corner for 1/4 of the price for the other 2 days

Good location, not far from grand central station where we arrived on the bus from Belfast City airport, and central for the town and some good (but busy) bars and restaurants near by. Allowed us to check in early(ish) and leave our cases before hand. Free water bottled water that was replaced. Friendly helpful reception staff.

Room could have done with a deep clean, marks on curtains, stain on the carpet, scuff marks on walls and shower screen had mould on edges of the glass, also yellow stain on shower tray where something had been stuck down previously.

Hotel location is excellent, and hotel staff are lovely. The bed was comfortable.

Room was not quite as booked - was given a triple when I booked a double which made it a little cramped for space. The room was very noisy - water pipes in hotel made thumping noise thorough night, early morning street noise was not dampened by double glazing. The air-conditioning in the room was on a timer that was unable to be altered and ran for 3hrs before turning off, which made it stuffy during the night and woke me up several times.

The room was perfect for what we needed with a nice sized bathroom too. The beds were super comfy. Fresh towels each day too, which I loved. Location was tip top. Close to the City Hall for the Christmas Fayre. Close to the shopping. Close to lovely restaurants and vibey bars. And the icing on the cake, it's about 40 steps from Fibber Magee's. Great location for live Irish music. And when your feet hurt, back to the great bar in the hotel lobby with good music and Guinness! I didn't sample the breakfast, but I did have a look at the spread and it looked very impressive. I'll be trying it next time!

There isn't anything to note.... I have to say - if you're going to Belfast for the weekend, this hotel is the one for you!

It’s very good and the stuff couldn’t do enough for you excellent stuff except in the last day the restaurant manager her name is Jackie. She wasn’t pleasant at all. Basically she treat us like our cider. She asked us to pay before we eat and unfortunately I did explain it. That’s very wrong. We’ve been three days here and the stuff is excellent but you’re not gonna spoil my last day or experience in the Hotel. I did explain her clearly You need training..

A clearness and the help of the stuff in the dining room in the bar in the housekeeping extremely professional in the front desk excellent stuff and thank you.

Location was good, giving easy access to tourist and other facilities. Staff were really friendly and helpful. However, breakfast was self service buffet and quality and availability suffered.

Breakfast service was Buffet self service. Hotel was full and as a result breakfast service suffered. Stocks of food types were either depleted or tough and unappetising. Given the price being charged the hotel breakfast was not worth the cost. There are other facilities nearby.

The room was a double and single as there were 3 adults. Very Clean room and bathroom. Loved the coffee making facilities in the room. Water bottles (recyclable) were provided in the room which was great. In a very central location to everything you want to do and see in the city with good restaurants and bars surrounding it. Loved the bar/lounge area near the reception as it was lovely to have a night cap in before heading to bed.

Just a small thing, there were only 2 extra pillows in the press and the pillows were very soft so needed 2 per person. Didn't bother asking housekeeping for the extra, as was only there 2 nights. Car Parking is a 5min walk away at the Great Northern Shopping Centre, however, it is very secure and you can get your ticket stamped by reception when leaving to get a discount off the final price. Didn't book breakfast as part of the package but was able to pay for it on the morning we availed of it. Good selection but a bit dear at £17 for what you would eat versus going out around the corner to a cafe.

The Maldron is a fantastic hotel in a prime location. I spent two nights there and was delighted with the proximity to numerous pubs and restaurants. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet. I requested a room on a high floor and was pleased to be given one on the top floor. The bar area on the ground floor was excellent, allowing us to enjoy a drink upon our late arrival on the first night. All staff were friendly and helpful. On our day of departure we were able to store our bags in the luggage room for a small fee that went to the Air Ambulance service, what a great way to raise funds for a charity. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Check in was smooth. The room was modern with nice amenities & the beds were comfortable. They allowed us to check in an hour early because our room was ready. The bar area was a nice area to hang out with kids after 9pm which allowed us to stay up with our friends for longer. The sustainable water bottles in the rooms, the actual mugs for tea & the ability to take a bath or shower were all appreciated. The location of the hotel can't be beat. It is right around the corner from the bus station near the Europa Hotel & very close to Belfast City Hall. It is a half block from the famous Belfast pubs like the Crown. We were a short 7 pound taxi ride from the Titanic Museum. Bathrooms in the lobby were very clean.

Didn't like that there is a sign saying that if you need to check bags there is a 1 pound charge per bag. It was not enforced which is appreciated but its a little ridiculous to be a hotel with a 3pm checkin & an 11am checkout knowing that you are catering to tourists/travelers & THEN also charge for holding their bags. They should just get rid of this. The room to store luggage was also a decent size despite what the sign said.
