Absolutely lovely experience, from the moment of checking in and being welcomed by Jill at reception who is such a lovely lady and thanks again for bringing us the complimentary glasses of bubbles to our room. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfortable. Had an amazing breakfast with fabulous choices and nothing was too much trouble and again it was Jill who served us. Highly recommend for an overnight in Hillsborough.

Great location in a beautiful village. Property very sympathetically restored. Choice of restaurants and cafes in the village. Breakfast served on site with a wide ranging choice from cereals and pastries to full cooked breakfast. Food and service were both excellent. Bottled water tea and coffee all provided

A couple of very minor points that certainly wouldn’t result in us not recommending this as a place to stay. The road running through village is busy so there was some road noise but this wasn’t a massive issue. The room was very warm.

The check-in instructions were clear, and we were delighted with our room overlooking the church grounds. The room was fantastic, the decor tasteful, the bathroom and rainfall shower were both exceptional. We had an amazing night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was one of the best my wife and I have had in years. My wife is dairy intolerant, and this was dealt with with no fuss. My fry was delicious, and the ingredients of the highest quality. It was really top-notch and served with a smile from a really friendly and professional host.

Nothing , the only thing I struggle to note is that we had to move our car a few times due to the on street parking as we were early, but this was not an issue at all.

Arthurs was absolutely amazing, we were greeted by Linda who is by far the best host we have ever encountered she couldnt do enough for us, we were offered refreshments after she showed us to our rooms which was a really nice touch, the room was exceeded our expectations, the kids were able to enjoy netflixs as we chilled for the evening, there are loads of restaurants and takeaways within walking distance and the kids found a playground which is almost straight across the road, we had breakfast at 9.30 and were greeted by Linda who again went above and beyond for us, Aoife was amazing too and very friendly to the kids, all in all it was a wonderful experience, we went to belfast for a comic con but my partner and the kids were talking more about how they are so looking forward to visiting Arthurs again next time we're up, thanks so much i would highly recommend a stay here, greatful regards Stephen daly

we had a small room - which did have a 2-way view!! We will stay there next time in Hillsborough. Cute choices at breakfast! Super fresh ingredients as mostly local farmers! 6 stars (of 5!) for the staff (& owners)!!! Super clean!

we had a small room, but no safe and no closet/cupboard so had to live out of the suitcases - but was ok for 2 days. Also only had a nightstand on one side of bed. This room (number 4) would be better for a single person.

It was modern without being clinical. Everything was well thought out, all the amenities you needed. Although it was on a main road, it was quiet without a constant noise flow. Very impressed and would 100% rebook, probably will. The type of place you could come once a year and make a tradition.

The breakfast was lovely, I appreciated the little complimentary raspberry smoothie to start and was very pleased to be offered a large carafe of orange juice. The poached eggs were lovely too. The room was large and beautifully decorated.

Everything. As a professional traveler for work across Europe I like to think I have some experience. Arthur’s is an exceptional boutique hotel that offers the best of what you’d expect from a worldwide chain, yet the convenience of a self reliant system. Very comfortable beds, small touches and perfect cleanliness. Well done.

Perfect location and lovely relaxing room after a long long day at work. Loved the bath in the room and took full advantage of it. Received a lovely call of Lynne to check all was OK. Bed super comfy and a great night's sleep. Had to leave early so didn't get breakfast but will be back to sample. In fact I've already booked for next year.

Such a great stay. The decor and standard of room were perfect. Lynne was incredibly helpful and we’ll definitely come back!

Our room (ground floor) was incredibly quiet apart from when the room directly upstairs would plug in something to the wall or walked as we heard all the creaks above us which woke us each morning, but there are ear plugs provided!
