Staff very helpful. Location great -: right on bus route, next to great eating spots and botanical gardens.incorporsting Ulster museum. Small co-op at end of rd. Far enough out to be quiet but near enough to walk into town if you felt like a stretch of the legs...20 min max. Restaurant on site was good value and good food with good selection Public areas in hotel lovely Stayed in appartment across road which was great, small lounge diner, washer/dryer machine, fridge gas cooker and hob, microwave. Double room good storage ensuite walk-in shower. Hot water on demand. Lift to all floors Would have given 10 out of ten but for a few things looking a bit tired in appartment. But v. Comfortable, convenient and nice to spend money at a family run hotel who have well trained, customer focused staff and offer great value. Will definitely use it again. Recommend

Not so much I didn't like but better attention to detail in cleaning (beer bottle tops under sofa, broken plastic cover from radiator valve on floor in bathroom) would help. Although skip the clean and get a 15% voucher for bar may be reason not looking pristine. Was still reasonable. Washing machine had label that said out of use but turned out it was an old label and machine worked well. (There is a very helpful maintenance chap who appeared promptly when needed). No pods for machine (reception kindly found me a few scoops of powder). Badly peeling fablon on table in bedroom. But seriously nothing major to dislike ..this is all minor stuff that is easily fixable and would have pushed score to perfect. Still good and value for money

The staff were brilliant. They all had a smile at all times and would do everything they could to help. I think it was Lois but she should be congratulated for such brilliant people skills that made us feel welcome and looked after. the bar in the evening had a great atmosphere with guests mixing with locals. the food was exceptional and we really enjoyed our stay

The check in was a little slow but this was more because of guests being difficult and demanding. It was a little worrying as a first introduction but our experience was that the staff were brilliant and really wanted to do their best for the guests.

Easy to find, and on arrival we were early for check in, which normally throws me off, being an adhd/autistic person but the way the staff conducted themselves was very calming, the cook lobby added to the calm. The whole trip was made fantastic and the luxury of the rooms along with breakfast was utterly perfect. Underground parking behind the hotel was easy to access. I would highly recommend staying here over other hotels in Belfast. The entire experience was amazing. That I should have booked more days .

Fantastic location within easy walking distance of the centre and attractions. Great restaurant SAGA just around the corner. The hotel is located on a leafy suburban street so very peaceful and quiet. The complimentary toiletries were of good quality and replenished daily, as was the tea, coffee and biscuits. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The room we stayed in was a great size, as was the bathroom so plenty of room for 3 people sharing. The overall furnishings and facilities are slightly dated and could do with an upgrade, particularly the shower which lacked power and would have made washing hair for example very difficult. Also the water through the taps was often not hot, just tepid. There was a radiator in the bedroom under the window which we couldn't turn off.

Staff, food, value for money and cleanliness.

Only issue was breakfast, short staffed and a lot of patrons were getting angry waiting. We had to ask twice while we were sitting waiting to get our order taken. It needs an extra bit of management.

Clean, comfortable. Efficient, friendly staff. Particularly appreciate a second key card so the room fridge remains on. Coffee maker came with a good selection of pods( and Instrutions- great)Towels a good size. The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant manager Tony was exceptional.

It was surprising that the room didn't have a WiFi code displayed, nor did the staff mention it when checking in. This would have saved having to go downstairs again. The function music on the Saturday night had a thumping base sound till 1am, making sleep impossible. If this matters to you ask for a quiet located room.

Loved the location on the tree-lined street with all the red brick houses. Loved the proximity to the city centre, we walked into and out of the centre a few times. The staff were all very friendly and curtious all the time. The breakfast was lovely and the meal in restaurant was also delicious! The room was nice with a very a comfy bed and lovely shower/ bathroom. We had a great stay and would go back to The Malone again!

The air conditioning in the Greyhound bar was a bit high. I found it a bit chilly in there, but the terrace outside was lovely, so we sat there usually.

The staff at the Malone were so friendly and welcoming and truly made our stay. The staff at reception were exceptional and a special mention to Becky whose pleasant, cheerful and helpful manner are such an asset to the hotel. And Tony who served us our breakfast and looked after us so well in such a kind and friendly manner, the Malone are lucky to have you on staff. And the food was great!!

My only complaint is there was too few electrical sockets in the bedroom and it was difficult to keep all our devices charged up. But I understand the rooms we were in are being upgraded soon so I'd recommend a few extra wall sockets be put in.

Location, facilities, parking and staff.

Overpriced and bar/restaurant under-resourced staff wise when required.

The room we stayed in was very spacious. It had a small fridge, a safe deposit box,a hand-held steam iron, and a coffee machine .The bathroom was good-sized walking in a shower (not a bath with a shower curtain that sticks to you ), the room was very clean , and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was had,a l large section. Excellent breakfast.A large car park in the back of the hotel, no need to take the car into the city centre, bus were on the Lisburn road which took you to the city centre, ten minutes ride, one of the best hotels we stayed in definitely would recommend this hotel. It will be our number one choice when we visit Belfast in the near future
