Our stay at the Harrison was absolutely lovely. I’m a bit of a nerd so I loved that each of the rooms were named after a famous figure from Belfast - it was a super fun way to bake some quick history lessons into our stay. The hotel was relatively well located - it was a quick walk into the area where many restaurants were available for us and was out of the downtown core so the accommodations themself were quiet. We had breakfast each morning and the spread was delicious, staff were always lovely. We had to store our bags prior to our next accommodation and they did this for us at no charge. The room was perfectly sized for us - the bathroom was absolutely massive and the decor was lovely. Overall just had an amazing stay here and felt it was a great value for money, will definitely be recommending this place to anyone staying in Belfast !

What a fantastic place, beautifully restored with attention to detail, comfortable but with a deep sense of the old days combined with some cool punk energy. Staying there was actually one of our favourite experiences in Belfast. Our suite was stunning, with a beautiful bathroom and old furniture and we loved the idea of people-themed rooms. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff really kind (young girl who checked us in was absolutely lovely!). The neighbourhood is very cool, close to beautiful Botanic gardens. There is a bus stop nearby but you can reach the city centre by foot quickly too. We really liked the Grand Budapest Hotel accent in the lobby and we found lots of great recommendations that we used (ex. No Alibis bookshop or The Muddlers Club restaurant, stunning by the way).

As this is the old building, you can hear your neighbours and during both nights of our stay there were some loud parties going on. It's not hotel's fault, but just an info for people who travel there. We used earplugs and it was pretty ok.

Met by the owner who is clearly dedicated to making the hotel as good as possible with loads of character. Unlike many hotels, the bar actually had some atmosphere, which was nice, and going through Narnia to reach it (as part of the hotel's theme of great books) was a great touch. Breakfast was also different to the usual fare in hotels, healthier and better for it, with a mix of a buffet or things you could order like eggs. I was travelling for business so I really liked that I had a small room at the top with a double door. I slept well.

Booking the rooms was a little confusing as it's not clear what rooms have what features.

The staff at the hotel were so lovely and couldn't do enough to help. The interior was also very nice.

Finding the hotel parking is a nightmare and so is parking in the place. I would certainly not want to be parking there late at night on my own. It was so congested the next morning and I was a blocked in by a work van. There are renovations on the row meaning the walk around to the hotel from the car park is on the main road. The interior is very quirky but the room needed a sheer curtain. It was either black out or exposure to the car park and yard. Not ideal getting ready. The view from the room is bleak too. Into car parks and yard. It made me feel uneasy that all the balconies were also connected. Anyone could come up to the door.

Could not have asked for a better experience. A lovely and unique boutique hotel, very clean, great wifi, super comfy but the highlight was the absolutely fantastic front of house member of staff on reception. They are exceptional, It was a real ease from check in, to departure, very informative, super helpful and very friendly without being intrusive. Thank you! Lovely walk close to the city, felt safe in the area, Car parked in small carpark behind the Hotel. It is very close to the University and if we were not there for work would have taken the upgrade, however will definitely return and highly recommend.

Mere words aren't going to accurately or adequately describe staying at the Harrison Chambers of Distinction. The love and care that must have gone into individually creating each room is phenomenal. The ambience is friendly rather than formal, so don't expect a concierge in a top hat (Melanie, this is not a challenge!). However, nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff. The breakfast is great. The Harrison breakfast roll is a must.

Everything! This place was amazing! Way better then I had expected. The lovely man at the front desk, William, was very accommodating and made sure we had all our needs met. Unlimited tea was offered, and there was a cute bar and sitting room, along with a breakfast in the morning (15 pounds). This place was so cozy, with very cool and unique decoration everywhere! They had a lift and stairs to get to the higher floors. All the rooms were themed after a famous person in Irish/northern Ireland history, we stayed in the Seamus Heaney room. It had a kettle with coffee and tea, and water. The bathroom was very spacious and so was the room. It has an old timey feel, but was very clean and the bed was super comfy! It was located very close to Queen University so it was in a safe area. There were many guide books and brochures for stuff to do around, and there were many cafes and restaurants around. William was also more then happy to recommend stuff to do in the area! 10/10 would stay again!

Nothing, everything was amazing!

There isn't enough I could say about what a beautiful time we had here - this was the most comfortable non-chain hotel experience I've ever had. The hotel itself is obviously gorgeous, but the staff are lovely and there's always coffee. I'd go back for the bed alone, which I'm still dreaming about. With its olde worlde charm, it's still clean and comfortable with modern bathroom fittings and even the smaller rooms are cosy and well-equipped. I cannot recommend this place enough and thank our powerhouse of a hostess, lady on reception and bartendress for such a kind welcome and taking care of us so well.

Decor was lovely, we really enjoyed the themes and attention to detail. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It would be the first place I would recommend someone to stay in Belfast. The walk into town was also really manageable, we passed through the bots which was a nice introduction to the city.

There wasn't a permanent person on reception. We didn't mind but I'd imagine if you had loads of bags it might not be ideal to go looking for someone to check you in.

The hotel is a beautiful place to stay, quirky interesting artwork and decor at every turn. Super friendly staff, we were greeted on arrival by the owner who made us very welcome with complimentary tea and coffee in the bar. All of the bedrooms are different and are individually themed on famous people from local history.

Breakfast felt a bit chaotic, the young staff were overwhelmed and had to ask several families and guests to come back later due to lack of tables. There was a decent range of breakfast items but a cooked option would be good. That said the staff were polite and done their best.
