I really liked how comfy the room was. They put two pillows inside the pillow case so the pillow isn't flat. Also, the hostel is very homey and encourages people to talk to each other. I have stayed at far bigger hostels with lots of people and not spoken to anyone :( . They do movie nights here. It was great. I made a lot of friends, played drinking games with them, went to the pub. There is a whatsapp group chat. Also, Troy and Birdie were fantastic. They were both super friendly and gave good recommendations. It is 10 pounds for laundry but the staff do it for you, do you don't have to worry. I gave my laundry to Troy and had 4 shirts that couldn't go through a dryer. He hung them for me which was fantastic.

I only booked it for 3 nights, should have booked it for longer.

I just stayed here two Nights and It just felt like a big home or shared appartment with lovely people. It didn’t feel like a hostel. The staff was soo nice and friendly they were always available and give you nice advices and it was also nice to hang out together in the living room. Especially Troy was a very kind and helpful Person who received me and I directly felt really comfortable. They also have like Everything a Hostel needs! I loveeed that they even had a QR Code for the WhatsApp Group Chat for people in the hostel which is Perfect for an introvert or shy person or if you just arrived and haven‘t met anyone yet. It‘s like the best idea ever I don’t know why Not every hostel has this. They also have earplugs for free (also best gadget to have for hostels) and the kitchen also had like literally Everything you need and even more. Would definitely recommend this one and I will definitely go there again the Next time I‘ll visit Belfast!!

It's rather old fashioned hostel with kinda worn out and dilapidated furniture. The volunteers running it seem to be doing their best to keep it clean and organized. I liked the common areas and the fact that it was quite.

I stayed in a 8 bed dorm. Honestly, the room is way too small for 8 people. It should be converted into 4 bed (2 bunk beds). Otherwise it feels like sleeping in a chicken coop. There are some lockers available in the corridor but you won't be able to fit your bags into them so you'll remove your more valuable items out of bags for storage.

I stayed in a 6-bed room for females, though the room was almost full I had a comfortable sleep and had enough air. The bathrooms are definitely not luxury (smaller one on the 2nd floor would benefit form having a shelf), but overall impression is good. The hostel feels very comfortable from inside, I liked all the art on the wall, pillows on sofas and the breakfast was nice too.

I would prefer the breakfast food to be clearly marked (if vegan, gluten free etc.). During the cleaning hours it is hard to find a quiet spot in the hostel (vacuum cleaner, open windows, cleaning of toilets and bathrooms).

felt like a cozy, lived-in home. Was greeted and invited to hang out with the staff and other guests. Easy to check-in and never had to wait for the bathroom or shower. Great water pressure!! This place seems to attract really cool travelers who are interested in making friends/having a fun time together

I guess just the small lockers (BYO standard size lock; small locks won’t work), but there was plenty of space under the bottom bunks to store suitcases etc

Very much a backpackers/travellers type hostel. I came to Belfast for other reasons and couldn’t afford the proper hotel all my friends were in so booked this hostel and for the price it was good, not particularly my vibe but for the targeted audience I’m sure it’s amazing

Lots of black mold spores about. Also no dairy free breakfast alternatives. I bought a carton of oat milk for one cup of tea, then left it there so I hope someone got use from it, no dairy free spread (often cheaper and nicer) not worth risking my allergies. Also bought shampoo that I then left there for someone else in the future. “Concierge” didn’t remember to give me my £10 deposit back.

I liked the staff, all were very friendly, open and eager to help when you had questions. They provided me with ear plugs in case Iwas sensitive to noises. The general area was clean, cozy and felt like at home. The kitchen was clean, had all the necessary utensiles so you can cook a home made dinner. It was a nice thought that there was a simple breakfast (cereal, toast, jam, coffee and tea) in case you might be hungry :D The room was big (not too crowded) with comfortable beds.

It was a bit hot during the night, eventhough the windows were open.

It was home like stay with common kitchen, lounge, dining table, television etc. There are books & guitars to spare time in the hostel. You are allowed to prepare your own food, can use shared fridge and gas stove. The staff are friendly and very casual. Bathroom facilities are good, bathrooms are there in ground floor and third floor so no wait time while using it in morning.

I stayed in 6 person dormitory, sometimes my sleep was disturbed by snoring folks, noisy door. As it’s bunk bed when person sleeping in the upper bed turns I could feel my bed shaking which also wake me up sometimes.

The hostel is exactly what I would expect and hope for in a hostel. The facilities are rather "loved", aka somewhat worn and the breakfast is limited (as they tell you from the start), but you have what you need and the atmosphere is fantastic. I felt like I was staying with a bunch of friends who kindly let us random strangers stay with them for a few nights.

The stairs and floors creak, so if you're a light sleeper, you may be easily woken by people coming in and out; however, there were free earplugs at check-in. Wholemeal/wheat bread would be a nice addition to breakfast.

Bedroom was adequate in size. Sufficient kitchen supplies. Breakfast composed of bread, cereal, milk, margarine, jam, nutella. Decent size living room. Close to Botanic train station. Free luggage storage before check-in, after check-out. There is outdoor sitting area.

Living room, bathroom area on the first floor always cold. Small kitchen relative to the hostel capacity; one can be on the top of the other after 6 PM. There is a wood stove next to kitchen table where people congregate and block access to the kitchen, since it is the warmest spot on the floor. Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM, which is pretty late. The two desktop computers have outdated software, they are essentially useless ( and neglected).
