The house is a beautiful elegant time capsule I absolutely adored the details and care in the property. Original tiles in the hall, beautiful art and decor everywhere it was a privilege to stay there. Our room had a beautiful free standing bath with a view and my kids adored the 4 poster bed which was extremely comfortable. I would live to stay again in summer when when hot tub is running and the little out door bar area is open. We loved all the cats but my children kept scaring them away unfortunately
I loved it its absolutely beautiful- but you did not appreciate old world charm and beauty if you were after a modern sleek experience with modern feel this wouldn't suit

The property has real character, the decor and design is interesting and is in a lovely part of the country. The room we had was lovely, there was plenty of storage space, the beds were super comfortable and we all slept really well. The breakfast (Ulster fry) was an extra £11 per person, it was very nice and not too big, just the right size for us. John the owner was great, he’s a genuinely nice person and will do whatever he can to ensure you have a memorable stay at Banoge House. We will definitely be returning when we next visit family.
It was difficult to have a shower.

Great value for money. Friendly host!
The only issue was not having any facilities in the room. There weren't any tea and coffee making facilities in the room or glasses in the bathroom. But I did go downstairs and ask for a glass of water which came from the main kitchen. I didn't realise that, so I might have come a bit more prepared with some supplies for the room. No shampo in the bathroom (there was hand soap) BUT the value is so great that I understand why they aren't there. It just might have been helpful to know in advance. The rooms are very comfortable and clean but it really is just the beds and storage for your clothes. There is a TV room downstairs. Fantastic place and great all round stay. Just come prepared with your own supplies for the room.

A short drive outside of Banbridge and set on beautiful gardens in the countryside. The rooms were traditional but comfortable with a huge luxurious bath and seperate shower. Our host John was a fantastic storyteller and made us a lovely omelette for breakfast. There are cats on the property but we didn’t have any allergy issues.

The accommodation is situated at beautiful garden. The house seem like cottage of nobility from past times and the furniture is real return to the 19th/20th century. Also the owner looks like person from that old times. Pensioned Lord whose only interest is to fully satisfy his guests. Place is tranquil, peacefull and mysterious especially if you treat yourself walk in darkened evening garden lighted with lapms. It was our pleasure to stay here. I fully recommend.
The only thing which little confused us is system of two separate water taps. Sometimes was little bit hard to find the right temperature in centre. But it was general matter in all accommodations where we slept during our travel to NI / Ireland.

The property was in a really handy location for us visiting the game of thrones studio tour and friends in Lurgan. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bath was amazing and breakfast was excellent!
The shower was a little cold but we spoke to the owner and he was in the process of getting it fixed and let us use a shower in another bedroom.

breakfast all fresh made to order every thing is what it says a beautiful Victorian mansion, i loved it, it was homely and beautiful if you like 1900 style with all the ornaments and decor then this is heavenly.. the owner john was very kind and supportive during my stay as i was there dealing with a family bereavement .. he even made the open fire for me i couldn't be more grateful

Absolutely charming escape! The bedroom was beautifully appointed, bathroom was lovely (with an excellent tub to soak in), and breakfast was delicious!
My only wish was for an equally picturesque pub within walking distance. But as far as things Banoge house can change... nothing.

It is like going back in time! Staying on a house like this was a perfect part of our roadtrip adventure. John was the best host ever, attentive to our every need.
The ceramic dolls were a little too much but part of the ambience.
