Literally everything. There's nothing I didn't like at this place. Everyone was welcoming, helpful and mostly skilled. Cleanliness was impecable. Breakfast super nice, with fresh fruits, traditional irish breakfast but also options for when you are not super hungry. Barista coffee (not included in standard rate) is solid.

I believe the only way of improving the rooms would having a heated towel hack, since it's Northern Ireland: we don't know when it's gonna rain. If clothes were super dump, we would use the dryers for a charge (4 pounds in 2025). But for the towels, even though we just used them 2-3 times, we needed to ask them to change it since they never got dry in the room.

It is a superb hotel, fabulously decorated, perfectly relaxing, with a great ethos and vibe. The staff are welcoming and helpful; even bleary-eyed travellers arriving way too early in the morning were greeted with warmth - bags were kept safe while we went away to explore. The location is excellent, very central. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit over the four days we were there. We were even able to pick up a bus just around the corner when we left to collect our hire car from the George Best City Airport. We enjoyed spending time in the lounge and bar areas, listening to local musicians, having a relaxing drink, but it was also nice to have the small kitchen area in our room for times when we just wanted to put our feet up and read for an hour or two. I will recommend Room2 Belfast Hometel to anyone I know who is visiting the city. And we hope to return too.

The only thing I missed was a rug or two on the floor by the bed. I just don’t like bare floors when I get up in the morning.

The location is great for a city break in Belfast. The room has everything you need. Nice decor although it seemed a little jaded and worn since our last stay 18 months ago.

Breakfast was very disappointing, we added this to our booking on the first day but did not have it again. The staff in that area were not helpful and it seemed like you were bothering them. Breakfast itself had limited options. The cooked breakfast was only just lukewarm. The sausages were poor quality, bacon burnt and only offered scrambled egg. The coffee from the machine tasted very metallic and we also had to wait as both machines were being cleaned. Filtered coffees were available at an additional cost but as the breakfast itself was hardly cheap we feel these should be included. It was overall very poor.

This hotel was one of the best (if not THE best) hotel I have ever stayed in. Upon arrival staff were so friendly and went over and above to make sure we were happy with our room, needed any extras and even gave us some great recommendations for local bars and restaurants. We didn’t need to look any further than this hotel for food as it was outstanding, very tasty food that was reasonably priced ! Our room was always clean, supplied with clean towels everyday and the decor throughout the room and the hotel was absolutely stunning 🤩 I will definitely return to this hotel and have been telling everyone about it. Well done guys 👏

Absolutely nothing - you guys were fantastic

This hotel is gorgeously decorated, the rooms have good amenities and additional bits like playing cards and sewing kits. The hotel is located right in the centre of town but on a quiet side street. Most importantly, every single member of staff was so lovely, friendly and chatty. They made our great experience, exceptional!

If I was really picky - I like my room very cold and the aircon here only goes down to 19oc, normally this wouldn't be an issue in Belfast but it was during a heatwave and I would have loved it cooler in the room. Staff offered a fan but I rejected this because I was sharing with a light sleeper.

This hotel is exceptional. Location is perfect to explore the city. Rooms were appropriately sized and the hair/body lotions were exquisite to smell. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plenty of it. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, especially Nathan who obliged us with every request. A great hotel, pleasant staff, good comfortable rooms and a hearty breakfast - who wouldn't want a wee overnight stay here...

We stayed for a night a week apart and both times our rooms were spacious, comfortable and very well appointed. We thought they were exceptional.

For our first stay the staff were outstanding, but for our second stay we thought their attention to detail and ability to answer our questions were lacking. Also, we paid for breakfast on our second visit which we found disappointing and quite bland. The eggs and bacon were cold and the mushrooms bland. Quite expensive for not a lot of thought.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Belfast. The morning breakfast was good and the bar had a nice vibe.

After a long day of travel arrived to find that although we had specifically asked for a room in a quiet location we were placed across from the power unit for the floor. Was downgraded twice (a twin room then a smaller room)before actually getting the same category of room (queen) that we had booked in a quiet location. All that hassle could have been avoided so easily had they read my request in the first place. The hotel was neither full nor busy. Took almost two hours to sort out.

Couldn’t ask for a better location!! It was walking distance to everything including the Hop on Hop off bus, which I highly recommend doing. The staff was so helpful and kind. There is water in the main lobby and sometimes treats if they are not already gone. Having AC was nice especially since wet were traveling during a European summer heat wave. Breakfast was buffet style and they had a lot to choose from. They also have live music and a bar available at the property which is a nice touch.

The rooms can feel a bit tight if you’re not sharing with a significant partner but my friend and I managed. The parking situation was not ideal. The structure was a bit away and then having to park on the side of the road for loading and unloading could be tricky given you can get a ticket. Just make sure someone is in the car at all times.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Location is amazing just a few mins walk to the city centre with loads of shops/bars & restaurants on the doorstep. The hotel itself is very modern and has a really nice vibe to it. We were upgraded to a studio room which had cooking facilities and a fridge and was spotless. Cleaning staff attended daily to change towels and the room was spacious and comfortable. Just to note that the hotel is dog friendly so something to consider if people have an issue with dogs. Personally we don't have an issue but the breakfast area was very busy one of the mornings with dogs barking and I had to be careful as there was a dog on the floor right behind me when moving my chair! Also some nice live music in the bar in the early evenings. The staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Couple of small things - no parking at the hotel itself but we parked in the NCP Tannery carpark which is only a 5 min walk from the hotel and decent value - we paid around €30 for 4 nights. The first morning breakfast was cooked to order from a menu and was delicious. However all the other days it was buffet style and not that hot- we opted to eat in a cafe around the corner one of the mornings as the buffet was not that enjoyable. Overall though we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again.
