Room was very spacious and clean. The hotel was ideally located for all the activities I needed to do during my visit.

The room (220) is too far away from the wifi router to work. This also impacted the heating of the room with the thermostat only working with a good wifi connection. Therefore the room was quite cold and I could not resolve. I didn't realise that the room was also directly above the bar which had a DJ playing until 1am. I failed to read that they had live music at the weekend 'until late'...which for a hotel is absolutely expected. Just disappointed that my room was directly above. I feel that I was positioned in this room due to the fact that I booked through a 3rd party website.

The rooms were large, and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of hot water all day for showers. The hotel is on a direct bus route from the Central bus station in central Belfast and it's well known. The reception staff were great, and happily reissued room keys when my phone kept wiping them. Excellent fish and chips, and the 3-egg omelette for breakfast was excellent. Housekeeping were also quick to bring extra tea/coffee/milk when we'd used all ours up.

Service in the restaurant was variable - quick if you are a couple, but very slow if you're in a big group. If you want non-standard items at breakfast, you will have to pay extra - including decaff tea! Fresh towels every day - we were staying 2 nights and would happily have reused them. Do ask your guests and give them the choice - so much better for the planet.

The property was lovely and clean, the room was spacious and well decorated. The shower was fantastic after I worked out the settings. My only complaint, was the room was too hot, there was no air conditioning or fan, this led to a night of tossing and turning. The room next to us , their TV must be right opposite our TV, because we could hear it most of the night. If these little things could be fixed, then I would certainly be back

No AC No fan Not being able to get food in the hotel, we did arrive later than expected, but there was no option of getting any kind of food or snacks

Beautiful room with plenty of space and a large ensuite and felt quite luxurious. Great bar downstairs with live music. Restaurant was busy but we were still able to get a late sitting. Would be best to book dinner in advance. Would happily stay here again. Friendly, helpful staff.

A little further out from Belfast than what we were expecting but with plenty of free parking onsite this wasn't a problem. We also caught a bus straight from the centre of town to right outside the hotel without any issues.

The room was gorgeous and extremely comfortable. The food we had at the bar was lovely and the people were fantastic.

In the morning there was no hot water for a shower. OK the water wasn't cold but wasn't hot enough to have a decent shower. I even let it run for a few minutes incase it took time to arrive. Because of this we both left the hotel without taking a shower. 😔

Honestly the hotel was so so lovely. Room was really nice, and staff were amaaaazing! We came to Belfast for a wedding and had flown in super early on the day, staff at Ivanhoe were so so accommodating and got a room ready for us very soon after we arrived, helped us with cabs when ours didn’t turn up (!) and overall were just fantastic. I didn’t catch the lady at receptions name but she is so lovely!!! The best stay, so perfect and relaxed and fuss-free. Thank you so much!!

Slightly out of centre of Belfast but ok if you’re happy to bus / cab it around

I booked this trip for my mums 50th birthday celebration and was greeted with complimentary dessert platter and breakfast the following morning. Spotless room, very kind and polite staff, very comfortable bed etc. Overall a very enjoyable experience and would 100% return when I’m back in Belfast.

Little far out from city but nothing wrong with the hotel whatsoever

Breakfast was lovely - piping hot and fresh. But please no milk on the cornflakes / cereal - milk on the side please.

Shower head popped off the hand held one and water came gushing out the wall - it took a while to sort. An explanation about who "Ivanhoe" was - for children in particular and why it is named after him.

Beautifully furnished, modern and clean room, located just 10 minutes from the centre. Shop nearby. We didn't eat in the resturant but it looked great. Friendly welcoming staff. Highly recommend

The road was loud outside, not much that can be done about that but I would request a room at the back of the building next time.

Fabalous hotel and just short trip from Belfast for meetings It was great as parking was big bonus Staff were friendly and helpful and quiet atmosphere surrounding Def book again fir future
