Best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! Perfectly freshly cooked. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff weasel our stay relaxed and easy. Location is superb: parking, large garden to sit in, quiet yet on main road and buses and Bournville train station (9 mins walk away) only 5 stops into Birmingham New Street. If going to Cadbury’s World, this is the best place to stay! Just 5 mins across the road. Perfect. I went with 2 granddaughters aged 10 and 12 and they loved that Netflix was available for them! For supper, a short drive away with parking is Kings Norton where there’s a huge choice. Old Farm Hotel can advise and recommend.

Fruit at breakfast would have been nice and plain yoghurts to have with honey. A healthier option, particularly after all the chocolate consumed from Cadbury’s World …!

A very handy hotel for the Birmingham Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and if you're visiting Cadbury World. A short walk from the railway station or take the No.27 bus - 2 stops away. The staff were very friendly and the garden was a lovely place to relax, especially on a hot day. The room was very comfy and very clean. Just what I needed before an early hospital appointment the following day.

The room was very hot as it was one of the single rooms, but there is a large window to open and fan in the room.

Very clean, ideally located just outside of the busy city centre and close to Cadbury world. Uber cost to city centre was between £10-£13. Room was updated with mod cons and was very nice. Great terrace at the rear and a small bar. Owner has recently taken over the hotel and has big plans ongoing there to modernise it. Would 100% look to stay again next time visiting Birmingham.

Gorgeous little hotel in perfect distance for an event we had. When we arrived the car park was full due to a private party they were holding. A very nice man who checked us in kindly moved his car so we could park ours as we were not driving to the event and would have already left before the party had finished. Such a simple act of kindness and was so appreciated. The room was lovely. We will definitely be using again in the not so distant future.

Great B and B. Facilities were excellent, tasty breakfast, standard English breakfast fare including toast, a choice of cereals and yoghurt, good value for £10 if not included in room booking price. Room was spotless and had everything needed for a comfy stay.

As with even the most expensive hotels, the bedside light was not near the bed. The tiny bathroom was very clean, had a shower and shelf space. However as the sink was mini and the shelf directly above it, you needed to be a bit of a contortionist to be able to brush your teeth with your head over the sink.

Fantastic location for visiting either the local attractions or hopping on a train into town. Breakfast was lovely and set us up very well for the day.

The room was a bit small and it was quite hot as there was no air-conditioning. The towel rack was hanging off the wall in the bathroom, which didn't bother us but should be fixed.

Lovely breakfast, the owner and staff were super friendly and very helpful. Only a few parking spaces, but never a problem. Small room but a comfy bed and facilities were basic but clean and well maintained.

Drivers in Birmingham.rude, aggressive and far too happy to lean on horns rather than give way. Not sure the old farm could do much about that. Getting a fire alarm evacuation on a cold Monday morning due to burning toast though... 🤔😄

I have stayed at this facility various times over the past several years. The new owner managers - Dave and Patsy - have continued to make this hotel a very welcome facility. Both are prompt and professional in caring for the guests. I spent several enjoyable hours talking with them every evening. I can’t thank them enough for facilitating my reservations that were made on very short notice. I wish them both continued success. If I return to Birmingham again - as will be likely - my first choice for accommodations is the Old Farm Hotel. As a side note to owner/managers Dave and Patsy - THANK YOU.

Great location, easy to walk to Cadbury's World and the train station (4 stops to Birmingham New Street). Lovely village, lovely little shops and wonderful cafe. We had a brilliant time. Very comfortable en-suite room with tv and tea/coffee making facilities. Lovely breakfast in the morning with great choices. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing to dislike.

We have stayed at this Hotel a few times now and it's everything you need for a few nights stay. The beds are very comfy it's clean and the owners are lovely and helpful. There are also tea/coffees in the room. The rooms are very quiet to get a good night's rest. I will definitely be coming back.
