The breakfast on our second day was very good, but on the first day nobody told us about the buffet so we missed out on that. For what we wanted to do the location was excellent and apart from a little noise from the garden it was very quiet and peaceful. We are glad we weren’t in the room we were given on a day when they had a wedding as the reception would have been right outside our window. But we would certainly stay at this hotel again if we were in the area.

It was a pity we weren’t told about the breakfast buffet on our first day and this was the only time any member of staff was not helpful and didn’t live up to expectations. The hotel is what it is, well used and getting on in years but it is very welcoming, cosy and not much else to fault it on.

the location was convenient to travel to Goodwood, which was our reason for being in the area. the extensive menu was a good mix of classic British choices and all food was excellent quality and well presented, portion sizes were very generous. all the staff were friendly and well trained for there particular job.

This is difficult as I dont want to be negative about any aspect of this hotel. One simple thing for me would have been grab handle in the shower, but that Is how petty I would need to be to find fault with this hotel.

Property is somewhere between hotel and traditional inn, popular with locals as pub and seems to be setup well for events (weddings) I booked it as I liked a particular room on booking.com and searched for dog friendly accom … After confirming the arrival with dog with hotel I was advised that the room I booked is not dog friendly and moved to a smaller room and asked for additional small “dog fee” - hotel politely asked me if I’m fine with it so no issue although would have preferred to know it at time of booking … - suggest you precheck with hotel if you travel with pets … Otherwise hotel staff was very helpful, had diner and breakfast (restaurant runs only few hour for meals) - good size and fine quality for a small hotel / inn …

We have a static home in Church Farm . We went to check on it yesterday. As we can’t stay there till it reopens in March we thought we would stay here . As we often pop for a drink in there when we go down. We had a lovely experience. The staff were so lovely. They had a function there last night . So the restaurant was closed . We happen to ask if we could order something to . They said yes and the food was worth it . It was so lovely. The price was so reasonable and lots of it . The rooms are unique and comfortable. We were so glad we stayed for the night . We will definitely be popping in for a drink when the park reopens.

The location was good for us, we had an early start at Chichester marina. One reason for choosing this hotel was the availability of breakfast from 0730 according to the website. On arrival we were told that breakfast did not start until 0800, which meant we had to choose between having breakfast or being on time for our boat trip. The lady in reception said she would try to help. She asked the chef to come in early so we could have an 0730 breakfast. He did so and all was well, so "thank you" to the receptionist and the chef. We liked the bar and restaurant for our evening meal.

The bed in room 3 was very soft, too soft for my comfort. I did not sleep much.

A modern day Faulty Towers which met my expectations exactly. This is not an upmarket luxury establishment but a substitute for a Premier Inn. Good staff. I took the 'French Room' which was a good size with amusing furnishing. There was probably the best example of using plastic wood I have seen for a long time. The room was just the right side of shabby chic. Good dinner and breakfast menu. Excellent steak pie. Big garden for the summer although limited parking. Cheerful staff. There was a helpful Sybil and Basil made an appearance.

Upon reflection: Terrible WiFi. The cook needs to taste what is being served. Bar area seating was dirty and generally the public areas need refurbishing. Why was the heated serving buffet left open to the public uncleaned? Oh well as I said a delightful 'Faulty Towers' experience.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Pagham. Good walk to the beach, with handy regular bus if you don't fancy walking back. Beautiful French country style room, which was very spacious and comfortable, well worth upgrading to it. Room was peaceful and no noise ingress from pub or garden. Well provided with tea and coffee and biscuits.

Disappointed on Sunday night that they weren't serving food, even though the website and in-room info stated they did.

Breakfast I thought was very good. Well cooked, plenty of options. We also had dinner one night in the restaurant and that again was good wholesome food, so much so that we could not manage a dessert which is unusual.

When we came to check out, the card reader would not work. We had to go over to a cash machine, which fortunately was nearby and cobble together the cash to settle the bill. I don’t suppose for a moment it was the fault of the hotel, but nevertheless it was a bit of a pain. Other than that everything was fine.

The building itself was excellent and very comfortable. The evening bar staff who served me was very polite and attentive, and the chef even served the food and took the time to chat. The reception staff on arrival was very positive and welcoming, and room that was upgraded for no extra charge was quaint, comfortable and everything I needed. A thoroughly enjoyable stay all be it short, but I will be using this hotel every time I am in the area for work.

Nothing springs to mind. Enjoyed every minute.

It was clean and tidy in a great location. It had a nice outdoor patio

We had room 4, the beds were super comfortable, but there was a horrible noise going all night. I think it must be something to do with the water system or boiler. I think it was attached to all other rooms. Every time a toilet or tap was put on or used it made an awful noise that went on for a while. I did mention it to the lady on reception the next day
