I liked that it is close to the airport but it has become quite expensive to do a stay and fly as Booking.com does not have the facility to book both the hotel and parking now. The parking therefore is very expensive for 2 weeks and pot luck as to whether there is parking available.

Very good location as it is close to the airport and with a bus stop outside the front entrance getting to the city centre and back is never a problem for those travelling without a car. The room was spacious and the bed gave a high level of comfort. The food selection for evening meals was good and the breakfast also offered a good choice.

No real complaints about the hotel or the service. The only area of possible improvement would possibly be extending the evening food service a little longer or having some later snacks available for those that arrive once food service in the restaurant is finished.

Breakfast was plentiful. Staff were efficient and polite. Towels, room and tea/coffee options were good. Decent price to pay for parking. Overall, the hotel did what we needed it to do - a stop over before an ongoing trip.

A little teapot to fill at breakfast to stop having to get up for a hot water refill - quite important reduction of movement for the elderly or injured - and thirsty! The palace is dated but still doing well. Closing the food option at 8pm on the night w arrived did mean we had to make use of the local delivery service which meant a longer wait after a long journey.

Location was good. Room was fairly quiet with the usual noise of doors closing, loud voices, very loud snoring. Hotel like most we have stayed in (We have stayed in hundreds from USA to China) was tired, needs some refurbishment particularly the paintwork. Mattress too hard for me, pillow uncomfortable. Room had been well cleaned and was every day. Loads of very hot water and excellent shower. Good value. Will probably use again.

Negatives. Really do not like having to pay extra for car parking. Easy to miss entrance from main road. Why not switch on the drive lights? Visited the bar Sunday at 9.30pm. Closed. Didn't try again so hotel lost out from 2 of us and our visiting friends (6)-we went elsewhere each night.

Lovely room, fridge, ironing board, very spacious, good bed, very clean, coffee if I wanted it. I'll be honest I can't actually remember if it had a TV. Bottom line is I only wanted it for a nights sleep and it was more than adequate.

Further out than I thought, from Yeadon where I was visiting friends. I got it confused with another hotel which was nearer by about 3 miles, where I stayed before, as the hotels are advertised with similar words. I ended up walking in the morning, (5 miles) which could have been inconvenient if it had rained. But it didn't, so I enjoyed the walk. It's still a good hotel, better than the nearer one, and in good weather I would consider it again over the other. It would depend on the time of year I suppose.

The location was perfect for our needs. The hotel was very attractive and had great outside space which we took advantage of. The bar was comfortable well stocked and had friendly staff. The bedroom had a terrific view. Good facilities and a very comfortable bed. Whilst we were there the hotel were hosting a large wedding yet our room stay was quiet and peaceful.

The dinner menu sounded great but in actuality was dissapointing. The quality of food was poor so much so that we decided not to have breakfast there. I must say that the dining room was attractive and the staff and service very good.

The hotel was clean and very welcoming. The room smelt lovely when we entered and the towels were fresh and white.

The place is a little dated, but given we'd only paid 49 for a twin, it was very reasonable. I did place a search on my filter to have an indoor swimming pool. I was disappointed to find out that we had to pay extra for the privilege.. It was only a few pounds, so that would have been OK if we hadn't had to have a comunnual changing area... My 10 year old had to leave the 'health club' in her wet swimming attire with her frsh clothes on top

Really lovely hotel I wasn’t sure what it was going to be like as I have stayed with Britannia a few times in other places and the hotels have been awful but this one is really nice. Liked the room I had with ironing board and mini fridge that I drove to the nearby co op and got in some snacks and drinks for the fridge!!! Close to where I needed to be and the airport is round the corner for flights or plane spotting (which is what I did!)

Not a dislike. But there’s no warning about the £5 parking charge until you get there. And the whole place is card only. Not a huge deal of course but not everyone pays on card.

Lift to all floors, The furniture in the room, Seating area in reception, Key card room entry, Buffet breakfast exceeded expectations.

Windows very dirty, window cleaner obviously not been for a while, Lack of extra pillows, Having a bath in bathroom, (would rather have a walk in shower), Reception lady on duty afternoon of August 2nd obviously dropped out of charm school. £7.00 charge for 24hr wifi, £5.00 charge for guest parking.
