Good location, friendly staff, comfortable room. Free plentiful parking.

The light on the landing was not working so I couldn’t see to open my door without my phone light at night. Ceiling lights in room 6 were covered in dust and need a good clean.

Basic but clean. Comfortable bed with spare pillows.

Shower was terrible. Hot but no power at all and I would have struggled to wash my hair.

The room was very simple and cozy, it's got everything you'll need. Staff is incredibly helpful. Meals were fantastic.

Needing to catch an early flight and having to leave the place early in the morning through the back exit (as the front door is locked during the night for understandable reason), and I had to wait outside for my taxi in the rain with no shelter space. Moving the suitcases through back exit and around the building was a bit tricky, too. But this is only an issue if you need to leave the building before the front door opens.

I was really nervous about my stay after reading previous reviews about the rooms being cold and the shower not working, but everything turned out to be fantastic! The room was warm - heating was on and could be adjusted and additionally, there was also an extra heater that could be plugged, but the room was warm enough. The shower had warm water. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I appreciated the hosts gave me a room as lower level as possible since I had a lot of luggage and it was hard to get over the steps. They did help with it when I came but in the morning the reception wasn't opened yet. The room was very welcoming - the bathroom had all necessities from plenty of towels to shower gel and shampoo. There was also tea bags and biscuits and I bought myself a lemonade from the bar. Overall I was very pleased with my stay, definitely excellent for a one night stay. I would recommend and return to it for sure if needed to fly from Leeds Airport, also compared to a different place I tried around. Staff also friendly.

I wanted to touch on the noise subject since I know it's also mentioned - yes, unfortunately you can hear everyone leaving in the morning (5 am), but I was already awake so it didn't bother me as much. Area around the location isn't lit, so when you leave in the morning through the back it feels rather dark while you make your way to the front. Price wise, I was on my own, so I felt it was a bit much for one person.

Located very near to the Yeadon Town Hall Theatre where we were attending a comedy show. Very comfortable room with ensuite. The White Swan serves food from lunch onward but not breakfast, however there are at least two cafe's within easy walking distance both serving recommended excellent food. One venue we can personally vouch for and have no doubts the other would be as good. (spoilt for choice) After the show and back to the bar for a quiet nightcap in very comfortable bar area served by excellent attentive bar staff. Followed by a great nights sleep. Will be following the future acts at the Theatre and making the White Swan my go-to accomodation.

Arrived at the White Swan after a very early morning flight and traveling all night. We were in Leeds for a family funeral. Staff were so lovely. Let us sit in the bar area while our room was being prepared. Then let us into our room early so we could get a sleep before we had to attend the funeral. Beds were so comfy and we had two great nights sleep. Plenty of tea/coffee/milk and kettle in the room which was a lovely addition. Plenty of cafes a short walk away for Breakfast. Close to airport with airport flyer bus A2/A3 bus stop a couple of minutes away. Would highly recommend.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The food at the pub was delicious with large portions. There was plenty of parking and the room was comfortable. Ideally located for the airport. Always nice to stay in a local pub rather than a big chain hotel.

We had an attic room and the velux window didn't have a blind. It didn't bother us with it being short daylight hours but mentioning it because it might be an issue for someone who was very light sensitive or in summer when the daylight hours are much longer.

Great location if staying for easiness to the airport. Free parking. Food and drinks reasonably priced and tasty. Beds/rooms are comfy and well furnished. Nice park nearby to wander around with kids climbing frames. Couple of restaurants and pubs in walking distance.

Little bit of a foisty smell, maybe from recent cleaning of carpets. Doors do slam loud although we were in room closest to main door.

We had never stayed at a pub before but it was fine. There were not many restaurants within walking distance that were open for dinner the day we were there but we ended up eating at the White Swan pub and the meal was excellent and good value for money. Staff were friendly. We chose the accommodation since we had an early morning flight from Leeds airport and it was indeed very convenient.

The room was spotlessly clean, it has everything you needed, shower had a good pressure, very convenient for the airport. We had a lovely meal in the pub. Departing early in the morning when the pub was shut was easy.

The room was directly above the bar and you could hear music and people talking. As a weekday night it quietened down at 9.30, and a staff member very kindly turned the music down when we asked as we were off to bed - thanks, this was really appreciated. For us, the duvet was very hot, but everyone has different preferences l.
