We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the room was clean & tidy & restocked with tea, coffee, water & biscuits everyday. The breakfast was outstanding, a choice of healthy fruits, cereal & yogurts & a full English! The location of the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the harbour & the shops, we ate out at a place called Chish & Fipps which was really nice, but a bit more expensive than what we would pay for at home! The staff were all very welcoming, at the reception, the restaurant & in the bar area. We loved the veranda, we sat & watched the sunset which was beautiful! Did a couple of long Coastal walks & headed to the bar when we got back. I would definitely stay here again
The room was a little over heated, but I don't think that was any fault due to the hotel! We had a mini heatwave when we were there, so had to have the fan on most of the night, which was quite noisy

Everything was great except for the shower as the water pressure wasn’t good. The staff were exceptional particularly Mel on reception and Jack in the bar. Particularly liked the brasserie giving a different option for meals. We had a lovely meal in there plus another late afternoon, we paid £10 for a beef sandwich, it came with salad and dressing, homemade slaw and crisps and with the fresh bread used, it was a meal in itself. Couldn’t fault the food, the staff and the beautiful location on the head of the bay. The towels were large and soft.
The water pressure. Made having a decent shower - difficult. No problem having a bath though

Love the location.Absolutely beautiful position overlooking the sea.Great to have the Nature reserve and the Berry Head Napoleonic fort so close by to walk up to and enjoy the fantastic views .The staff were so helpful and friendly and we were given an upgrade to a sea view room free of charge. The lounge is comfortable and great for coffee and a homemade biscuit mid morning and nice to eat in at night with lovely food.Breakfast was also very nice. The hotel is well placed for visiting National Trust properties nearby and also Dartmouth , ferries and a great walk to Dartmouth castle..Can't fault the hotel at all.Lovely.

Amazing trip. Room was very small it was ok for one night but was disappointed on the size of the double the bed was tiny. Room was nicely decorated and had everything. We were a party of four so we had two doubles and the other double had a bigger bed but was so noisy they couldn't sleep for the noise of neighbouring rooms. So that was disappointing that the rooms didn't have better sound proofing I think we were in an older part of the hotel but it did impact quality of sleep. Location is incredible fab walk into Brixham. The bar had live music which was brilliant on the Friday night. Food in the restaurant and breakfast were beautiful we had a wonderful time and were very well looked after by David. Mel on the desk was also super helpful. The pool area is nice. Shame the sauna is no longer there. The jacuzzi was nice. Temperature on the whole was a little too cold. Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely stay again.

I very much liked the general vibe of the hotel and its location. Great view. Free parking on site was a big plus. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bar / eating area had a great decor and atmosphere. The beer (Devon Cove?) was great too. Breakfast was very nice.
Room was ridiculously hot when entering. Took a couple of hours with the window wide open with towel heater and radiator off to get it down to bearable. Evening meal in brasserie was mediocre for both of us (mains and desserts) and our first choice of vegetarian meal from the menu was not available.

The location was perfect. Set in beautiful grounds surrounded by beautiful views of the sea. Nice to have a private, contained balcony with our room
Despite informing the hotel before arrival that we had a dog, nothing was in place on our arrival. Breakfast was also a bit of an issue as the breakfast staff had not been informed either. Visitors with dogs eat breakfast in a different area. Apparently this is a problem when booking through Booking.com as there is not an option to say you are taking a dog. It made us feel a bit uncomfortable & that we were causing problems for the staff; bearing in mind that we paid an extra £12.50 per night for our dog so we expected better.

Very friendly and welcoming reception staff, and always happy to help. Fantastic location with pretty much everything you need within walking distance. The hotel has a continental feel to it, with stunning views from the terrace and apartments. Perfect spot for an escape any time of year. Secure covered parking under the apartments making it a pretty good option for classic car enthusiasts. Overall a very well presented 4 star hotel that I'll definitely be visiting again.
I thought the extra £60 charge for the hot tub was a little cheeky.

We stayed in one of the apartments. It was modern, clean and bright. We liked the location and the pool. We have re booked but staying in the main hotel not the apartments this time. Bar staff were polite and chatty. Dog friendy 😊
Unfortunately the sauna was out of order. Also there were no options when we were booking that we could have a lot tub so I messaged the hotel. I didnt get a reply until a couple of hours before check in by which time it was too late for the hot tub to be filled and heated... This was disappointing but when we arrived we realised the hot tub had no privacy whats so ever. We really this that the hot tubs would benefit from a bit of privacy....

Excellent location for walking or just enjoying the views and relaxing. Nice restaurant and bar with a varied range of options.
The dinner menu was good with a range of dairy free options. Breakfast was also good but would have been even better if a few small dairy free options were easily accessible (they may have been obtainable on request), such as margarine, in addition to the butter or some dairy free yoghurts alongside the dairy ones offered.

The food was excellent and justified its price. Portions were very generous to the extent that we couldn't manage much in the evening after a big lunch. The hotel allowed us to just have a starter, and cheese and biscuits, but again, one portion would have been enough for two. Sadly we didn't have time to even visit the indoor pool. We visited in winter. The patio must be great in the summer.
We booked a room with a sea view, paying extra. Whilst it's true you could see the sea from one window, the room was on the side of the hotel, more of a car park view. It wasn't "overlooking" the sea as we had imagined, but at least we could keep an eye on our car from the room!!.
