Fantastic location with beautiful views of the harbour and quayside. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We requested a quiet room which the hotel was able to arrange at the back of the hotel away from the road. The breakfast and service was impeccable. Great value for money in the heart of the quay. The hotel is pet freindly and we were able to take ours for a small supplement. If you arrive by car there is space outside the hotel to drop luggage and for £7 you can park you car for the night in the parking spaces by the quay, 2 minutes away. Highly recommend the New Quay Inn owned by the hotel, beautifully renovated and it keeps the old style pub feel.

the property is perfectly located right on the harbour front. obviously theres a steep walk up to the property, i have mobility issues and managed ok. The owner was very helpful, and very accommodating at all times.

nothing really, it was a fabulous stay.

We enjoyed our stay here, the accommodation was comfortable, very well located and big enough for our labrador to stay in too. We liked that our room had external access for this reason. Breakfast was great and the staff were friendly.

The view was amazing, especially with the location that the hotel was situated. We were a 2 minute walk away from the harbour and the overall closeness of everything was next to none.

The only thing I would’ve said is that during the breakfast offer customers more during the cooked breakfast as one of everything might not be enough for some people. Along with I heard them offer more to other customers but not to us or some of the other people.

We had a room with a sea/harbour view which was excellent; we were well chuffed. The B&B is also located very close to shops and restaurants. The room was lovely and warm, as was the shower room. The electric shower itself worked very well - not always the case everywhere! There was plenty of storage for clothes etc which was much appreciated. Little things like hooks on the back of both doors were nice touches and very welcome in the small space. All involved in the B&B were very helpful, friendly and efficient.

The building and some of the facilities are looking a bit tired. We had a lot of condensation on the inside our window every day. Our room was extremely small as was the shower room, but worth it for the view of the harbour and Tor Bay. And, as described above, it was well laid out and supplied with storage. I think the breakfast could be improved. An acceptable minimum was offered, but this began to pall a bit after three mornings. It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit for the cereals or to be able to choose porridge, for example.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming & helpful. Location was amazing. The view from our 3rd floor room overlooked the harbour. Choice of breakfast, cereal, croissants, toast or cooked breakfast. Communication was excellent & a big plus (for a small charge) was we could reserve a parking place for our stay. The building was old & quirky ,with some exposed stone walls & rope handrails. Would definitely stay there again.

very nice place, clean well presented, and owners very nice and accommodating. really good English breakfast with a range of serials, toast, and yogurts etc also available. Absolutely stunning views over the harbour. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

although not the fault of the property but parking spaces (which are reserved on the harbour), are a bit tight to get in with a larger car, due to metal posts each side of the bay and a metal tang sticking out from each side of the metal posts. you need a second person to make sure the small tangs don’t scratch the car as you reverse in. it isn’t bad if you don’t plan on using the car during your stay(you only have to do it once) but I wouldn’t want to keep doing it every day.

Great location right on the harbour excellent base to reach everything, such lovely staff and so nice and clean nothing too much trouble, a lovely stay

The room was just a little small for us. And a little dark , a tight squeeze as we had a few bags as was away for the week , wasn’t sure if this was one of the smaller rooms and there was bigger ones available?

The view from the room across the whole Harbour was amazing and the room clean and well presented room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was well cooked and adequate and fresh ground coffee and toast, jams, cereals, yoghurts and juices. If you wanted to bring food back to eat at any time you could use the breakfast area to sit and eat it, plus glasses provided for drinks. Also a cabinet with books to access. Big plus is that they can book a parking space just down below the property in the harbour for £7 for the night and day. We found this really helpful as parking can be an issue in Brixham.

Very little we didn’t like. Although the only twin rooms they had didn’t face the harbour, which was a shame. It also felt awkward pulling up on the hill, on double yellows just before the property, to unload luggage. The staff said you are aloud to park there for 10 minutes to do so.
