The hotel was so near to the sea that you could possibly jump in from the window. "Joke" It is a bit noisy from the traffic but then people will know that from the pictures of the hotel. The only thing that could be an improvement is a bigger TV as the hotel tv is very small, on rainy days sitting watching a small tv does strain your eyes a bit.Other than that all was good. You are walking distance to the town and the train station as well as the pier. You have a fantastic view from your window if you book a double room at the front of the hotel.

We were in room 8, right at the very top. Our view was great, to see the sea first thing in the morning was lovely. There was good parking, either around the back of the hotel or at the front. This could be a little tricky though(at the front) as it's right off a roundabout, but that's not the hotels fault really. It was very close to the beach, shops and bars. But far enough away not to hear any noise from the bars at all. A very enjoyable spot.

This isn't the fault of the Hotel in any way, but the traffic noise by motorbikes and 'petrolheads' late at night could be a pain. It usually stopped just before midnight though.

Parking available wich is a big plus, close to the beach, privacy, easy to find location, decent room size, clean.

Altough it was quiet and privacy respected, during my stay there I heard people shouting, swearing, slaming doors at 1-2 o'clock in the night, but this has nothing to do with the hotel, some people are just out of control. The possibility of haveing acces to a small fridge, a room fan/ventilator would be a major plus, bed mattress too soft ( I know most people would rather have a soft mattress ) but in my case was too soft, I literally felt like sinking on that bed !

This is our 3rd time staying here and it was just as amazing as it always is! we love coming here we always get a room with a stunning sea veiw the hosts are lovely and welcoming and breakfast was lovely it was nice to see how the hosts interacted with all guests they were relaxed kind and were happy to help!

the wifi was a little slow and we needed to turn it off and on again a few times but who needs wifi when you have such a beautiful place on your doorstep the bathroom is small but is perfect for all the essentials!

The location is perfect for everything, easy walking distance to town beach and eateries, bus or train close by. No problem parking at the hotel. but I had no worries anyway because there is a big car park near by. Hearty breakfast comfortable beds. Very friendly family atmosphere. Now I noticed reviews about the showers. Just run the water a bit longer than you would expect and it’s fine. Definitely going back.

Good location, central and close to the beachfront. Great Sea View from our window. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was comfortable with clean linen etc. The room and shower room were clean and there was parking for our car on the premises.

The only thing we were not happy with was the bathroom/wetroom as it was too small. Could barely move and the shower cubicle was tiny. My husband battled to get into it and had to stand in one place as he couldn't move. Other than that, it was clean. I think a lesser fee should be charged for this room.

Stayed with my elderly mum for the weekend of the Torbay airshow. Super location - just over the road from the beach so we could pop back whenever we needed a comfort stop! Ideal. Airshow itself really worth seeing. The room had everything needed, clean and comfortable. Owners helpful and friendly. If I had booked earlier I would have liked a room at the front with a seaview and on a lower floor...... a lesson learnt. Book early for the airshow weekend.

The hotel staff were very helpful, arranging breakfast to match our needs (vegetarian option, high baby chair fir our child). The room was clean, nicely decorated, all facilities were in good condition. The location is excellent: just a minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes to the train and bus stations.

We spent very little time in the hotel as we were visiting friends but the location was suitable for us

Unfortunately being high up in the property we struggled with the water pressure of the shower and the shower head not staying in position ..we also found the position of both mirrors in the room to have inadequate light ...

EXCELLENT LOCATION FOR TOWN/BEACH CLEAN, COMFORTABLE GROUND FLOOR ROOM ( IDEAL FOR PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES) NICE PERSONAL TOILETRIES, FRIENDLY STAFF, ON SITE PARKING. LOVELY STAY, WILL BE BACK.

WOULD LIKE SOME DE CAFF COFFEE/TEA, AND HOT CHOCOLATE. SHOWER PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE DIFFICULT TO REGULATE
