What can I say about Beecroft Lodge...? AMAZING little place to stay and we will definitely be going back. On arrival we were welcomed into the lounge by Vicky where we chatted a little about our journey, the area and met adorable Milo who gave us a welcoming fuss :) Our keys were on the bed so we didn't have that awkward 'showing around the room' tour, just allowed to settle in at our own pace. The room itself was lovely with a feeling of home but super clean and tidy. I have NEVER seen a bathroom in any hotel or B&B as clean as this one which is saying something as I have a cleaning business so am hyper alert to cleanliness when staying in a property. The bed was very comfortable and there were lovely fluffy towels to use rather than the starched cardboard types you usually find. The whole property was clean and tidy and had a classic décor with original period features left in tact which is refreshing. Breakfast was a welcome treat with pastries, cereals, hot breakfast, juices, coffee and tea. Extra toast was available without the usual limits which was nice but the bacon and sausage was superb. No cheap items, chunky bacon and dense, meaty sausages so always had a full tummy. Scott and Vicky are lovely, welcoming and friendly hosts without being overly familiar and couldn't do enough to keep us comfortable during our stay. We could not find one thing that wasn't to an excellent standard and we wish every host was as passionate and caring about the service they provide. Thank you so much and we will see you again soon! Great meet and greet by Vicky. Also both Scott and Vicky made us feel so very welcome and could not do enough for us during our stay. The bedroom was so very clean, exceptionally comfortable bed and bedding, very well laid out room. Bathroom was also exceptional and spotless. Fantastic choice of breakfast freshly made by Scott Very comfortable guest lounge and brilliant Honesty Bar. Would thoroughly recommend this place and we can't wait to go back. An exceptional property run by perfect hosts.

Absolutely nothing. Scott and Vicky went "above and beyond" to look after us. Made to feel so very much at home.

Exceptional all round stay. Host is amazing with no request too much trouble. Spotlessly clean throughout. Food is varied, plentiful and top notch. Guests are greeted on arrival and given a short welcome with hints and tips of places to visit and local eateries which i have never had at any holiday property before. A lovely touch adding to the overall excellent stay!!

There is nothing to dislike!! Beecroft is situated halfway up a hill which may cause issues for some who have health issues but it is still well worth overlooking this if you are able.

Great location, short walk to seafront and train station. Friendly, welcoming, down to earth hosts and really comfortable spacious room with great nights sleep. Outstanding breakfast - I can recommend the scrambled eggs on sourdough toast ☺️ Smart tv so you can login to your personal Netflix etc for watching a film once settled in for the evening!

Very little to raise as a negative tbh, plug sockets a little awkward to get to and bit of light let in early mornings which might bother some - but nothing that spoiled my stay (I always take an eye mask!) Would 100% stay again 🙏🏻

Beecroft is a fantastic b&b only a few minutes walk from the centre of Paignton. It is owned by 2 of the friendliest people and their 2 adorable little dogs. The rooms are spacious ensuites with large comfortable beds, comfy seating in a bay window and a fridge. They cook the most amazing breakfasts including baked eggs or salmon as well as cereals and toast. We loved our second stay here and look forward to visiting again.

Everything was lovely, big comfortable bed, good shower, we were room 7, asked for a bigger fan and it was there when we got back, excellent breakfast, vicky is such a lovely warm lady made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, asked for crispy bacon i got crispy bacon 😃there really is nothing i can fault and would highly recommend

On a steep incline, maybe not ideal for people with walking disability

The breakfasts were amazing I chose something different every morning and was not disappointed at all everything was cooked beautifully and was piping hot and plentiful, room was spacious and comfortable always hot water when you needed it, would highly recommend indeed Nicola n Scott are the perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble for them 5 star all round

Everything was superb. The owners Vicky & Scott were very friendly and obliging when requesting a ground floor room and disabled parking. The Location was perfect and near to the beach & town. The room was very clean and Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. A lovely touch was a small refrigerator in the room to keep our drinks & milk cool. Any requests for top up tea/coffee or milk for our room was dealt with promptly. Also towels were changed mid week. We would definitely stay again & recommend to family & friends it truly was a lovely hotel.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Everything was amazing, lovely hosts , ideal situated to beach 5mins and town cente and rail station and buses 10 mins away. We went on the bus every day. Amazing breakfast., and parking, just leave you car and go, because expensive t park here. Would recommend t everybody. Lovely big bedroom including fridge and fan.

The best guest house we have stayed in. Perfect breakfast and immaculate accomodation. Lovely host..

Due to the wife's condition. Parkinsons. The very steep hill to the accomodation was near impossible. Only 10 minutes from the rail station but taxi required every day. Real pity! This would have been our regular choice. Staying ambassador sept. At the bottom of that dreaded hill. Depending on the diabolical rail strikes.thats why we keep searching. Possibly different dates. Travel 170 miles by train. Hence the recent cancellations. We are both 85 but definately going somewhere. Just waiting for chance between rail strikes like a lot more people. Want 2 more hols.this year. Maybe 3.
