The location was very quiet, in a lovely area of Devon. The room was spacious and the host was very accommodating and helpful. There was space to park, and quick access to the nearest town by car, bike or bus. The breakfast was healthy and generous.

The bed was little firm for both my wife and l, but we were so tired from cycling and hiking, that we awoke with stiff shoulders but still we slept through the night.

Peaceful location. Excellent hospitality. Delightful breakfast. Clean comfortable and well appointed accommodation. Kimberley is an amazing hostess. Local inn the Charleton 3 minute walk away offers a warm welcome and excellent food.

Kingsbridge and much of the surrounding area is very hilly but the coastal views are a beautiful reward. Driving around on some of the local "roads" can be an adventure.

The house is tucked away in a quiet lane in West Charleton. It is beautifully decorated with items from the owners travels. There are also gardens with a small stream for guests to relax in. Our room was spacious, with an additional living area upstairs. Breakfasts were fresh and generous. Kimberly was a great host, with lots of local information and ensuring that we had everything that we needed.

We were mostly only 20 mins. drive to 3 fab sections of the S.W. Coast Path, plus Salcombe and National Trust Garden. Altogether a peaceful, lovely location with excellent nearby pub-restaurant. Friendly, relaxed owner with plenty of tips on where to go.

Accommodation not lockable. One needs to know that you have to go everywhere by car (or bike) in the evening, apart from the one excellent pub-restaurant - but it wasn’t a major problem.

Kimberley and Mike are excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating and very helpful with local recommendations and tips. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and bright and the whole property is in beautiful serene grounds. breakfast was excellent and we were lucky with the sunny weather which was a bonus. it would be fantastic staying here in all weathers. Also lovely friendly local pub which serves great food is almost on the doorstep. Thank you Kimberley and Mike for making our short break so special. Fully recommend,, 5 stars plus!!

nothing - it was all as perfect as possible

Beautiful home and gardens. Lovely hearing the stream especially whilst in bed. The complementary breakfast was delicious 😋 The host was very knowledgeable about the area and we did a coastal walk which was recommended, absolutely stunning 😍

There is nothing to dislike 😊

First, the location: in a village up a quiet lane but within ten minutes’ drive of Kingsbridge and with a bus stop nearby on the main road. There’s also a pub within walking distance serving good food. Next, the accommodation which was both comfortable and spacious. The ground floor room with a king bed overlooked the garden and was very peaceful. Next door was an en-suite with a bath and wet area with shower. Everything was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. There were tea/coffee making facilities and treats including chocolate biscuits and shortbread. The continental breakfast was a treat too with cereals, bread, croissant and home made jam. Finally, the friendly, informative hosts who went out of their way to make us feel at home and enjoy our stay.

We cannot find anything at all to criticise. It’s one of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in recently. It didn’t bother us but the owners have a very friendly dog and cat so if you have an allergy to pets it’s worth bearing this in mind. Additionally, take plenty of change for car parks as the local ones don’t seem to accept credit cards!

Kimberly and Mike were wonderful hosts. Amenities, breakfast and the room were fantastic. Kimberly gave us wonderful tips for our family holiday that made it extra special. We went with two young children (3 and 4 yrs old) and they were extremely accommodating to have us in their home.
