Hosts communicated well. They left us a very generous welcome basket which was most helpful with the essentials. The property was very clean (gold star!), well heated and plenty of hot water available. My kids loved the toys and teddy's. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary utensils and equipment. On site heated pool was excellent and was free to use. New bar looked lovely too.

I don't like to call them 'negatives' but rather 'recommended improvements'... Not that we needed to use the decking, but Lodge 77 does need the railings/ballastrades replacing promptly as it taints the outside aesthetic and initial opinions on arrival. Tall folks (such as ourselves) struggle with the standard double bed but I acknowledge there is limited space in the bedroom. An extra consideration would be a couple of foot stools in the lounge to make sitting on the sofas more comfortable.

The lodge was excellent with all mod cons and a basket of essentials on arrival (milk, bread, eggs, bacon, cereal etc). The location was ideal being really close to the Zoo with easy access to local towns of Paignton, Torquay and Brixham. It was just a short drive from major supermarkets and takeaways/restaurants. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and in good condition. The site has a pub that also serves food, a swimming pool and play area for the kids. All the family really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

A lovely lodge which had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The hosts Paul and Kirsti were lovely, on arrival there was a hamper with food/drink, which was really appreciated and they contacted us to confirm we had arrived and all ok with the lodge. Lodge is situated on a lovely site with a nice pub in walking distance. Plenty of places to visit locally and there was information provided in the lodge informing us of the local activities/beaches /restaurants. We really enjoyed our 4nts in February, however I am sure the lodge would be even more attractive in the summer months. The leisure centre wasn't available at the time we were there. It didn't stop us having a good time. I'm sure it will amazing once it's complete.

The property is extremely comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. There is a bath and shower and plenty of wardrobe space. The second bedroom is a good size too. The kitchen was fully kitted out & the property included towels which was a pleasant surprise.

The location of the property is just on the other side of a busy/fast road and although there is a high wall separating the property and the road you could still hear the cars when sitting outside during the day. However, we couldn’t hear the traffic noise from inside the property.

Booking.com list the park as having a pool, gym etc... this has been closed for refurbishment for months, the owner of the accommodation has informed them but it has not been removed from the site. Had I known this I would have booked somewhere else. Disappointed with Booking.com, listen to the owners and act on their comments, they have told me you are a nightmare to talk to.

Brilliant. We really enjoyed our stay. Came down here from Lancashire to visit family in the area. After a long journey we were delighted to receive the welcome treats. As was our doggy! The lodge itself was immaculately clean and tidy. It was also very comfy and homely. It was a bit of a shame that the pool facilities were not open but I believe they will be very soon. We enjoyed it that much we have booked to come again!

This was our first time staying on a holiday park, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and fairly quiet and had everything we needed. The little food hamper was a lovely addition. The onsite pub served delicious food with lovely friendly staff and is worth a visit if you stay here. I will definitely consider staying here again if I find myself back in Devon.

The only negative was a small yappy dog in the cabin opposite, so a quiet morning coffee on the veranda was spoiled somewhat, but this did not detract from what was a lovely week's holiday in beautiful accomodation.

Absolutely exceptional!!! If I could rate this higher than a 10 I would! The host was amazing - quick to respond to any communication, checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was OK too! A lovely welcome hamper - complete with Easter Eggs, such a lovely thought 🥰 The lodge was stunning, everything you need and more. Comfy furniture, large shower cubicle, fully equipped kitchen....it was home from home. The park itself was immaculate, the grounds were well kept, staff were friendly and to top it off the on-site pub was tip-top too - and very reasonably priced. Couldn't fault this accommodation at all - like Mary Poppins....perfect in every way!

No coat hooks. Decking was rotton in some places so we had to be careful where we stepped. Uncomfortable sofa not good to relax on.
