The inn has one of the best restaurants available focused on sizzling steaks cooked at your table on volcanic stone. A Brilliant carvery and a menu for everyone. It also has a traditional public bar with a pool table and darts. It's less than 2 miles from paignton seafront and easy access to places of interest like Totnes. Amenities that are very close by include 2 supermarkets and a kfc and McDonald's drive thru's

The metal staircase leading from the car park up to the rooms is not for those with limited mobility, but this way your stay is not restricted by pub opening times

All as expected clean tidy and great food served in restaurant 😋 Beautiful newly done bathroom with great shower just needs toilet seat sorting as not fitted properly. Tea and coffee making facilities were plentiful.

Bed needs to be higher as practically on floor and not easy for a person with disabilities. Also need dressing table and some sort of wardrobe, wasn't a worry for us as only stayed one night but any longer it would of been. Only one bedside table???

- The room was simple but confortable and clean. - The entry to the rooms is independent from the downstairs restaurant. - We didn´t perceive noises coming from the restaurant. - A water-heater and coffe/tea bags were available. - We were not charged due to our pet. - The staff was very net. - There is an ASDA supermarket nearby

- As the accomodation is in a main street/road, the room was a lttle noisy because of the traffic, speccially if the window was open. But with the window closed, and specially in the night, the room was much quieter.

Friendly check in, plenty of parking. Ideal for what I needed. Somewhere cheap to stay before taking kids to an early taekwondo competition. My friend and her daughter stayed in a double room with ensuite and were happy with their room

I stayed in family room. Happy with room. Single bed wasn't the comfiest so I didn't sleep well. My kids said the double was comfy. Only downside was our toilet and bathroom was down the corridor separate.

This is a lovely little place to stay, very local to the shops but away from the busy roads. The room was above the bar and was soo quiet. We didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant unfortunately but it looked lovely. The bar was modern, it was very relaxed and the bar staff were lovely and so helpful. Children are allowed in the bar until 9pm which was perfect for us. We would definitely return There is a play area for the children in the beer garden.

Tv signal was jumpy but this wasn’t a major issue as we only stayed for the one night.

The bedrooms are basic but everything one needs is there. Would have been nice if the central heating had been turned on although I wasn't cold. The Rump Steak in the restaurant was excellent, self cooked on an iron hot plate and garnished with mushrooms and tomatoes. The sides were a baked potato with mush garlic mushrooms and onions. Very, very tasty. The meat is obviously very good quality as it cooked to perfection.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The price for the accommodation was excellent value for money! The room was clean and had plenty of plug points, tea & coffee making facilities and a TV and the bed was comfy. The en-suite bathroom facilities were really nice, great shower and plenty of towels and toiletries.

If I had a ‘complaint’ it would be that I think they should invest a little in some better quality furniture for the rooms - the wardrobes/drawers were very flimsy, but that is cosmetic! It did not stop us from enjoying our short stay and I would definitely use the Parkers Arms again for this trip next year.

Great value for money! Good amount of teas/coffees/milk etc with spares available in the corridor if we ran out. Room was clean and tidy and bathroom had free toiletries. Room aired for arrival.

Furniture not of the best quality but serviceable.

Brilliantly clean, bright and airy room. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Exceeded my expectations for the price. The food in the steakhouse was top notch.

Steep steps to room, not a problem for us but could be for some. Not really within walking distance of much.
