We enjoyed a great stay at Park View R & R, the location was fab, right in front of the theatre & in walking distance to the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was plentiful & lots of storage. We especially enjoyed the use of the kitchen, the breakfast was fantastic & it also allowed us to be able to make pack lunch/picnics with all the utensils available. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone visiting, it will not disappoint!

The bathroom smelt of damp when we first arrived - I think it was just due to the window being closed and I appreciate its an older building so this does occasionally happen. Easy enough to rectify with the window open. I was not personally a fan of the rainfall shower as I do not feel as though I can get clean & not get my hair wet (long hair girl problems!), I wish there was a separate smaller head that you can use via a hose.

Everwhere was clean. We liked that a shared kitchen was available and breakfast basics such as bread .butter , milk, sugar and cereals , fruit juice provided. Also, a selection of tea and coffee if desired. A short walk to the town centre and the sea front . It's a great base to visit other places such as Brixham ,Torquay, and Dartmouth . It's great that a fan was in the room as it can become hot. We stayed in (kirkham) which is on the top floor . We would definitely recommend R and R.

Perfect location. 2mins to shops, 5 mins to train or bus.10mins to seaside. All rooms are different. We had the Dellers room on 1st floor at rear of property. When you unlock/open the room door there is a small hallway where a door to the right is to the bathroom and straight ahead is the bedroom. Good shower. Comfy bed. Can be a bit noisy at pub chucking out time and early morning as seagulls like to be up at crack of dawn!! Iron and ironing board on each hallway. If you run out of toilet rolls or tea/coffee etc... there are extras on each floor and in the kitchen. Kitchen has everything you need. There is a shelf in fridge and a cupboard named for each room to use. You can cook your own food or have takeaways as long as eaten in kitchen and clear up after yourselves. There is cereal, bread, milk, butter,flora, jams yoghurt, orange juice in kitchen for breakfast if you want it. Because it's always there you can have a lie in! Good communication from owners. Door lock codes sent to you on day of arrival. We will definitely return!

A bit of noise from local pub but otherwise OK.

Lovely and clean, comfortable bed. Good size room, with a fan. The kitchen was set up so everyone has a compartment in the fridge, a cupboard each with plates, cups, etc. So you washed and cleaned up your own mess.

The window.....it banged/rattled all day and night in the slightest of wind. By day 2, we ended up stuffing tissue down the side to stop it banging/rattling. I would have given this a 10, but because of the window, I would give it an 8. I don't know if it's an easy fix, but I think it needs to be looked at., as it was very annoying.

Park view B&B is in an excellent location - 10 minute walk from paignton seafront, close enough but far enough away from the noise on busier days such as the weekend. Locations such as Brixham and Torquay not far either in the car. The B&B itself was spotless, we could not fault it during our stay. Facilities in kitchen are good if you’re there for a longer stay and wanting to cook yourself, with a section in the fridge for your food/drink. We stayed in room Dendy, very well presented and light. Bonus with the weather so warm, there was a fan in there which we didn’t expect (and very grateful for). Although parking limited and with it being busy, we always managed to park in the free parking if we couldn’t get a space in their allocated 5. If you can’t, just remember to get a ticket or move your car within the timeframe as I did see a parking warden most days! Very pleased with our stay at park view B&B. Will definitely come back!

Only downside was the pillows for us but that’s just personal preference

We had a fantastic few days . It was my birthday , the weather was really good and we got a loved the room . Surpriselly the shower on last floor at the really top , had an amazing water pressure. Very good . The kitchen was so organised, very well planed to support every single room . Really good If in the future I go down again , I definitely try to go on this one again .

Nothing actually... but just in case someone thinks about cooking .... it doesn't have an proper oven . We didn't needed . Microwave, toasters and everything was there for the breakfast so it was everything OK for us .

I had a wonderful stay at Park View for one night for business. The room was extremely comfortable and clean, with great amenities. The communal kitchen was an amazing addition to the property and has everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. The location is brilliant with just a short 10min walk from Paignton station. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, and the hosts were extremely informative beforehand. I will definitely be back whenever I stay in Paignton again!

Very clean, great position. Very good price for where it is.

Pillows were awful I’m afraid, about 2” thick, even doubled up, just not at all comfy. The key pad on the front door is quite low, as are the key safes on the inside. Because the front door is old, the position of key pad is dictated by this. Very difficult to see at night. With all the rules written in the info book, one of them should be , no need to slam your bedroom door. Shared kitchen is not my thing, so didn’t use.

The amenities were great, it was really nice having a kitchen that was stocked that we could use at any time. Plenty of jams, coffees and bread for breakfast or a midnight snack. It was perfectly located that we didn't need to use the car for our entire stay, it was a short walk to the beach and all the shops and there was a lovely garden across the road. The bed was super comfy aswell. Definitely worth the money.

The only thing we can say we didn't like was we kept finding absolutely massive bugs like woodlouses but like nearly an inch big and there was a couple dead spiders and cobwebs around the windows. Other than that it was lovely

Hey, we loved the b&b and the whole idea of letting yourself in and out and having a kitchen available if needed. The rooms were lovely and clean and modern. Just to help you out when hanging the white towels on hooks the type of hooks rusted in towels making little orange marks. The parking is a great plus but what happens if someone parks behind and another car parks in front info for this and what to do in this situation would be great too. These are not negatives though just our feedback. We loved our stay and will be back many many times as my mum and step dad live I'm paignton so when we visit them we know where we will be staying from now on. :)
