Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the team and a couple of the locals. Room was very clean and comfortable, which is key in my opinion. Ate in the restaurant during the evening and it was delicious as well as good value. Service was perfect and polite too. Breakfast had a good selection and again it was delicious. The service was great too. Parking was not an issue at all.

Wifi was a bit unpredictable as was the mobile reception but that is hardly the fault of the establishment. The approach can be a bit 'stop/start' with the narrow roads but again not the fault of the establishment. I've been on worse roads in Devon so it wasn't too bad at all & would not put me off booking again. In a way it's a part of the charm of the place.

We had a fantastic stay. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were lovely. We travelled by car, but once there found the bus stop just down the road and used the bus service. Very easy to get round and about. We would highly recommend a stay at the Globe Inn.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like. The only thing I could think of would be the busy traffic early in the morning. With the window open when it was hot did mean we woke up early. But not really a problem.

This lovely village pub is in the heart of a busy mainroad taking you to Torcross or Kingsbridge. Near by too, is a busy popular junction that is the only crossing to take you over the Salcombe mouth, which one of the estuary fingers tgat goes to Frogmore. The pub is ideal for that ideal stop, if you are walking, needing a half way point rest, or visiting visitors in the village. Very friendly hosts, really comfortable beds and great shower, hot and powerful shower. Breakfast was included in our nights stay. Beautiful pub beer garden too, which goes with the indoors too, large wrap around bar. Free parking too which was great!

Nothing at all.. But..if those who did have the roadside room, may...may have the few cars driving past a bit noisy.

The room was spacious and comfy, staff were friendly and the breakfast was amazing! We were pleasantly surprised with how good it was, the scrambeled eggs & omlette were delicious and the gluten free bread/roll they served was so so good.

One downside was there was quite a bit of noise from cars on the main road so it made it difficult to sleep properly with the windows open.

The locally sourced rump steak was a high point. The property is clean and the rooms are well appointed. Staff are helpful and friendly. I liked the beer gardens and the decent sized car park which is free.

The room was on the road side of the building and there was traffic noise until very late and then again very early - as well as noise from below with the pub patrons .

Lovely old building and friendly staff. Room was a good size and the whole place was clean and in good condition Good food with an excellent choice at breakfast although the dinner menu is quite limited

Our room overlooking the road was very noisy with the windows open which was necessary due to the warm weather. The double glazing was effective when the windows were shut. The WiFi is annoyingly slow

Really comfortable room and bed. Staff were very helpful. Food was excellent. Good value for money. Surroundings pleasant.

The location wasn't really convenient and not strictly speaking in Kingsbridge. Without your own transport, the only way there or back was by taxi which was very expensive and not easy to get hold of as local firms were under pressure and didn't have availability.

Room was very spacious and clean with good storage. Good breakfast provided

It was quite expensive but cheaper than a lot of other options nearby so that may just be the area. We stayed on a Friday night and there was a band playing in the pub. They were good but it was very loud in our room which was directly above.

Lovely atmosphere in pub staff lovely and helpful. Room was very clean, perfect for solo traveler, complementary coffee teas biscuits & water . Very good. Evening meal and Breakfast excellent.

My room was above the bar area which had Jazz band playing but ….Jazz was very good!! 😊 👍… Thankfully it didn’t stop me sleeping but might have for others.

Comfortable bed. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Plenty of hooks which are a bonus. Another bonus is a luggage rack for your suitcase. Desk with a chair and plenty of hangars in the wardrobe. Great parking. Little conveniences that are important to travelers and they all add up to a return stay.
