A lovely overnight stay. Everything was so clean and spotless. All staff were so friendly, the only disappointment was having to pay for a hot breakfast if we wanted it, cold buffet breakfast was included in the bed and breakfast price.

The roads leading to the hotel were awful. it was a shame about the restaurant. We had an evening meal and 3 breakfasts. 80,% were cold, not a lot of choice. We used the hotel next door for food and was excellent. Such a shame. Our perfect hotel was often 20% full in the restaurant.

Superb location. Bedrooms-large balconies with great views, very comfortable huge bed. Living and dining areas are great. Lots of outdoor space when the weather is optimal.

Slight confusion with breakfast. Booking.com states breakfast included-it only includes continental breakfast. I understand the hotel is going to ask Booking.com to amend this detail.

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable, with stunning views overlooking the beach and waking up to the view was pure bliss. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a dream! The pool area is beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing, and I can’t recommend the spa enough. Chloe gave me a fantastic massage. She was professional, attentive, and truly worked wonders. What really made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Every single person I encountered was warm, friendly, and went out of their way to make my stay perfect. Don’t leave without trying their amazing cocktails! Highly recommended - I’ll definitely be coming back!

The hotel was beautiful, the room was clean and spacious. The bed was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in! It was easy to park and the staff were very friendly. Free gin in the room however if you wanted a mixer with it you had to buy one from the mini bar. Food in the restaurant was lovely. We had a sea view room and it was definitely worth paying the extra for.

There could be more lounges in the spa area. Only 5 there and all taken when I arrived so I had to sit in a rocker chair which wasn't very comfy when you are in your swimming costume. Also the changing rooms were extremely small, I have been to a few spas before and given robe and flip flops but was disappointed to see this wasn't provided. The shower in the bathroom wasn't the hottest, the pilot light had gone out apparently so I had to have a cold shower in the evening as I couldn't wait as we had a dinner reservation. The continental breakfast the following morning was lovely however I thought it a little off that if you wanted a cooked breakfast you had to pay an additional £10 per person, especially when you pay so much to stay there.

Having lived in Bournemouth all our lives, we always select hotels at home or abroad, with a sea view. We are both in our seventies but needed a break from daily routines, and fairly randomly selected the Harbour Beach Club Hotel and Spa. WHAT A FIND!!! From the moment we drove onto the car park, the Concierge, Nick was so helpful, especially because the driver's window would not fully close, so he found us a parking space under cover, in the dry, before carrying our luggage up to reception. There we met Lee, who checked us in and provided all the helpful information we would need for our three night stay. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with an elevated terrace and view of the sea. The 36" wall-hung Smart TV was simple to operate and worked well. As well as the mini-bar, there were tea and coffee making facilities, ample wardrobes and drawers. The en-suite included a deep bath and shower as well as twin wash basins, a heated towel rail and dressing gowns and slippers, (for visits to the spa). The spa was efficiently supervised by Alison, who ensured that the few children resident at the time, (even though it was half term), vacated the pool at the stipulated time. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The open-plan lounge bar and dining room was well designed with panoramic views of the sea and beach with ample chairs and comfy sofas in which to relax. We soon got to know Karen, Maia and Doriana, in the restaurant, who were super efficient, friendly and cooperative. The Continental Breakfast was very comprehensive and well-presented with the option of a "full-English" for a mere additional £10. Dinner in the evening provided us with an amazing array of choices from the menu, and was beautifully cooked, presented and served. Our final credit goes to Millie, in Reception, who went the "extra mile" to accommodate the requirements of our daughter and grandson, when they joined us for the final night.

Location, location, location! The design and ambience of the hotel exude character and a modern holiday feel. It is classy, yet smart casual and such a tranquil therapeutic place with glorious views.

Nothing. I was fractionally disappointed with the room. Sounds petty, since our deluxe sea view was bigger than the spec. However the view was a little compromised by a wall. It was an expensive birthday treat and this was particularly important to me. Doesn’t put me off returning next year but I’ll have to check what we are allocated beforehand.

The Harbour Beach Club Hotel is a great hotel . It’s just outside the lovely town of Salcombe. It is very close to a small beach. The hotels facilities are good with lots of outside space . All staff are extremely helpful. Our room was not a sea view room but facing out the back overlooking a green field and woodland. It was beautiful and very quite. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

The only disappointment was the breakfast. The continental buffet was ok but could be better for this type and price of hotel. Very limited offers on cold meats and cheese. There is a cooked breakfast Menu but all options from eggs on toast to full English is an extra £ 10 . There are no eggs available with the continental breakfast. It would be great if the hotel could include all breakfast items in the room price .

Being greeted by Lee the concierge in the car park was great. We didn't have to wonder about where to go as he led us and took our luggage, saw us to reception and then later to our rooms. Supply of robes and easy access to the Spa. Our evening meal in the restaurant was lovely the drinks selection was good. Bed was comfy and our room had a great view.

The staff on duty in the spa on the afternoon of our stay were lacking. We stood at the desk with not one of the three staff acknowledging us. When we spoke after waiting a while one of them told us her colleague would deal with us because she was going on her break. All that was required was for our presence to be acknowledged and be told that someone would be with us in a minutes. The individual on the following morning was much more attentive and helpful.
