This is accommodation in a farmhouse on a working sheep farm. It is not Premier Inn, if you expect premier inn accommodation then go elsewhere. It plainly states no breakfast so don't complain when you don't get a breakfast. It is a wonderful quirky farmhouse with a fantastic host that does remind you of staying at your grannies. There is a lounge area with TV and wifi but me and my lad didn't use that facility. My six year old loved the fact we were on a farm and loved watching them round up the sheep. The hill behind has fantastic views of the Hope Cove valley and a footpath down to the sea about a mile away.

Lovely farm house on a working farm. Very well prepped for all visitors. It has everything you need plus more.

Not a complaint but to first time visitors there is ZERO phone signal so make sure you have a proper GPS and not your phone. Being a regular to hope cove we know this but be aware. The WiFi is really good.

A very clean and well equipped, self-catering, room with en-suite in a beautiful old farmhouse; approximately 3.5 miles from the historic Town of Kingsbridge and its estuary; under 2miles to Hope Cove, and short drives to Bigbury on Sea and Totness. Be prepared to do some of your journey along narrow lanes in rolling countryside. There is an outside space for bbq’s and a pizza oven; sitting under the stars in a landscape unpolluted by light was an incredible experience. The hosts are lovely people; I needed no extra help but was under the impression that nothing was too much trouble.

A beautiful farmhouse in an idyllic, quiet location. The room was immaculately clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. Our host was friendly, helpful and informative. We look forward to staying here again.

We are very happy with our experience at BFH, we arrived late after booking a room room for 4 people with Booking .com,, to a room with no ability to put extra bed's, Anne was able to find us an extra room, with extra payment. Booking. com has not replied to our message or refunded us of their error.

Lovely secluded location but close to Hope Cove and Malborough. Lovely outside seating area and use of BBQ and pizza oven. Useful to have a fridge, cutlery and crockery in the room.

It would have been helpful to have a pint of milk on arrival as the farm as it is quite remote and down single track roads - we were given a jug of milk on request though.

Access to the location was via narrow single track roads although there were pull ins to pass oncoming traffic.

This was my second visit and it is just perfect for coastal walking in the South Hams. I’m fine with making my own breakfast and really enjoy staying here.

There was a lot of noise from room next door on one night.

No Breakfast, but the family room had a fridge. (One double bed, two singles and two pull out beds, so could suit a big family. The shower was especially nice,.. over a big bathtub and great pressure and good temperature range... Ooops, So hot I set the fire alarm off with the steam when I left the bathroom door open.!!! The accommodation is et in the heart of a working farm and hope cove and the coast path is a 30 minute walk away, with a an excellent pub (Hope and Anchor) and good bar/diner (The Cove) Ideal localtion the Salcombe Kingsbridge and Bantham and all the local walks.

It was quiet, very comfortable and a lovely atmosphere.

It took us a little while to work out the layout and ehere yo put our key when we were out.
