We stayed here for three nights and had such a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely perfect so convenient and beautiful, making it easy to explore the area and also enjoy some peace and relaxation. The room itself was stunning, very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, which made our stay feel extra special. What really stood out to us, though, was the staff. Every single person we met was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. It made such a difference in our stay and created such a warm atmosphere. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations in every way from the lovely surroundings to the beautiful room and the exceptional service. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay, and we would love to come back again!

Lovely staff, great location and quirky characterful room. Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and shower excellent.

Needs new carpets and better lighting in the room as one side of bed no lamp and one ceiling light on that side of room not working. Would have been helpful to have a breakfast provided just a continental one would have been fine. Sourcing places that served breakfast was not as convenient as most cafes very busy. Needed somewhere like a shelf to put own washing equipment in the bathroom

The Seven Stars is the oldest pub in Dartmouth and certainly among the best. It's location is perfect, the food excellent and the staff outstanding. We will definitely book this pub again for our next stay. There's limited parking outside the pub but the team did everything to accommodate our needs.

As this is an old pub, the stairs to the rooms are set in narrow corridors with low beams, not so easy when carrying heavy luggage but its worth the effort for the location of the pub and the welcome the team provide.

Very well located, in a very nice town. I found a parking space close to the location because I arrived after 6pm, if you arrive during the day I think it is quite difficult to find a parking space close. The superior room on the second floor has a mini fridge in the room which helped. The lack of air conditioning, on a hot summer day, makes you stay with the window open at night and in the morning all the seagulls in the area are at your window instead of an alarm clock. It may or may not be disturbing.

Easy check in with a lovely member of staff. Room was great with toiletries, tea, coffee, water & biscuits. Bed was really comfortable too. Fantastic location.

Water wouldn’t drain in the shower so you could only shower for a couple of minutes or it would have overflowed. Annoying especially as previous people have reported this issue already in visitors book & on these reviews. Room 3 was also above kitchen so fans could be heard up to 10pm - not a major issue for us though. The other main problem was the church bells ringing every hour throughout the night. By 6am with 6 dings I gave up with trying to sleep! If I had known about this I would have willingly paid more for a different room.

We were upgraded to a suite room, which was lovely and spacious. We loved our room, well maintained, clean and a very comfy bed. Great location, right in the centre of Dartmouth. No parking but we parked in Kings Wear and came across by ferry. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again soon.

No complaints but to be aware due to the age of the pub, there’s no lift, the only access to the bedrooms are up 3 to 4 flights of steep stairs, low ceilings, so need to be able mobilise stairs easily.

Lovely large, bright room with complementary tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and bottled spring water. Very comfortable bed and super ensuite shower room. Separate entrance to the main pub provided privacy. Despite it being peak season and very busy, there was no noticeable noise from the pub. Location is brilliant, 1 minute walk from the waterfront and ferry to Kingswear. The staff were friendly and welcoming - a really pleasant stay!

Excellent location with the view out the window of the church. Plenty of space in the room. Modern decoration and facilities. Rooms located above a lovely cosy pub. No sound could be heard in the rooms from the pub. Excellent food available too.

Only issue would be no parking on site, but depending on time of year for availability, it’s close to the main town car park with 24 hour parking and out of summer season, free 24 hour parking is available on the quayside in the town.

Excellent location, good size room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. Very helpful staff (especially the chef when we checked out). Enjoyed a drink in the bar - great local beers on offer.

Our room was directly above the kitchen and the noise from the extractor system was very intrusive while the kitchen was open, but it had shut by the time we went to bed. This might make us think twice about returning.

The room, comfy bed, milk in the fridge and the pub itself were all very good and the evening meal we had their was also great. They didn't offer breakfast, however there were some good cafes nearby that did, so all very good

The paid for parking was relatively close, but the explanation of what it was called could have been more specific. Did give me a map, but had to phone to confirm I was in the right place. Slightly beeter instructions would have solved.
