Room was cosy but comfortable. We had a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. The location was ideal, just off the harbour in Dartmouth and up a side street. The little touches were nice. We had plenty of tea and coffee, with a coffee machine too. A nice touch were the two little cakes there for when we arrived. Thank you!

My knees don't like stairs and I had two flights to negotiate but this didn't detract at all from my stay. Will definitely stay again if in Dartmouth!

The owners were lovely and accommodating and in touch instantly over messages. The room itself is clearly maintained with love and has little additions of quality like real coffee and ample supply of milk pods so you don’t run out. To me, things that only someone who has travelled and knows appreciated amenities could add. The bathroom was the cleanest I’ve seen in all my travels. And the cost was great for where the location was and how the property is kept and how you are treated. Thank you so much for a perfect stay

The hosts were very friendly, helpful and provided very clear and detailed yet concise instructions. The flat was easy to book and access. It was on a beautiful street not far from the river and amenities. It was a great price and on top of that was really nicely done up and comfortable to stay in. I felt so impressed I'd highly recommend.

Brilliant location. A lovely little room, very clean and tidy and a great trusting and homely feeling.

Nothing not to like. If you’re expecting a 5 star hotel feel then you’ve missed the point. It’s an old building and small rooms. But it was brilliant, clean, perfectly located, lovely teas and coffees set up. Little Mini bar idea was excellent also. And great value. We wouldn’t have been any more happier or comfier if we had stayed in the Royal hotel.

We booked 2 rooms. Great value for money, nice quiet location. We had everything we needed.

A strong smell of weed when we came downstairs in the morning. It didn't seem to be coming from outside, so can only think it was somebody in the premises, although we never saw another person during our entire stay.

Located in Foss Street, right in the centre of Dartmouth. Perfect for access to the shops. Excellent communication by email and text from hosts. Gaining access to room very straightforward, instructions easy to understand. Clean and tidy.

Beautiful room in one of the cutest streets. It was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. I booked in late afternoon and the hosts were really quick to get back to me, which I really appreciated. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

A pedestrian street right outside, the harbour a 3 min walk, when I messaged the host about an issue I had with my key housekeeper was knocking on my door to sort it out within 5 minutes nothing was a problem. We had a fantastic stay. Bed was comfy bedding also comfy (I’m fussy ).

The rooms are central to everything that you could possibly want/need. If you are looking for the height of luxury, this is not for you but if you just want the basics and a decent bed to sleep in, then I recommend "The old Brasserie & Rooms @ no.8"

Excellent position in Dartmouth Generous tray of hot drink options and a home made treat. Honesty bar with drinks and snacks available.

Had problems receiving the key box instructions and code. However, the owners responded quickly to a direct text message and also alerted the staff on site to listen out and help us.
