The location was perfect and the parking was a plus (despite our neighbours inability to park in a tight space 🙄) Great provisions of loo rolls, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid, oh, and kitchen roll. A lot of holiday lets don’t have that!

There were a couple of things missing in the kitchen - chopping board, measuring jug but otherwise, very well appointed.

Beautiful property. Living area windows had a wow factor. Main bedroom was large and bed was extremely comfortable. Quirky and well positioned in the centre. Fabulous atmosphere during the Regatta. Would definitely stay again!

Shame the sofas have not been looked after. They were too much on the ‘dirty’ side for me to feel comfortable sitting on them! Sadly the wrong colour to have for a letting property however people should be more respectful with other peoples property and furniture. This is the only issue we had with the property. We had an amazing couple of days and wished we could have stayed longer. Local people very friendly. We’ll be back again!

Wonderful apartment in very good location, the apartment is one of the best we ever stayed in UK, kitchen got everything you need, well equipped, beds are comfortable. Everything is just perfect thank you 😊♥️

Smell from curry house in evening. Wouldn’t be an issue in colder weather with bedroom windows closed.

Great location and very useful to have use of a garage. Amazing old building with lots of interesting features & great size.

It was very warm at night, and the seagulls were very noisy.

loved the very large open plan living area, with feature historic windows and ceiling. Main bedroom was a good size too. Access to everything on your doorstep. We stayed in February half term and it was quiet in the flat.

Location excellent and the apartment was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. The parking was a bonus too.

The only drawback was the spiral staircase but once past that it was excellent.

Merchants Rest is in a great location, right in the middle of Dartmouth next to several really good bars, cafes and restaurants . Beautiful old building with a gorgeous front window, sympathetically sympathetically. Everything we needed for a 4 night stay. The fact that they had a secure garage parking space was brilliant as parking in Dartmouth is difficult. I would stay again and recommend.

I didn't give this place an excellent score because it was let down by the lack of attention to detail over cleanliness. The microwave was horribly greasy inside and the bathroom could have benefitted from a more through clean.

Really enjoyable stay - excellent location! Clean, comfortable, character property! As advertised.

Noise from the pubs late at night - wasn’t a problem as such as you could shut the door from the lounge area so bedrooms were quiet. But noisy if in the lounge.
