All staff were very welcoming, friendly, polite at breakfast and dinner, accommodating with our choice of table. Food -breakfast, a good choice of cereals, cooked breakfast was nice. Dinner on each evening was excellent and well served. Room - as booking, view of the river and balcony, bed comfortable, heating fine, bathroom clean and well lit, plenty of wardrobe space, we came prepared with some of our own coat hangers, there is rarely enough.

Cooked breakfast - could have been improved with a choice of plain and smoked bacon, tea and coffee were served immediately on arrival, rather than after cereal, by the time the hot food arrived drinks were not hot, might be worth reviewing this policy. I am sure that we could have asked the staff for fresh drinks, but this seemed wasteful!

Bar and Restaurant team were superb. Lounge and restaurant area was stylish and very comfortable - beautiful views of the marina and ferry coming in and out. Ate in the restaurant for dinner and the food was faultless - delicious mussels with fries. Good selection of wines by the glass. My room was extremely spacious and comfortable with a lovely view. Breakfast was also very good. Parking was easy and a real bonus.

There was no information guide in the room - be it about the hotel, the spa, room service, the bar/restaurant menu or the local area - to orientate yourself on arrival. A little local information would have been appreciated regarding the area, ferry's, things to do etc. The bathroom - whilst spotless – felt a little underwhelming given the rest of the hotel decor and room design.

Lovely location

Very limited food menu and expensive. A couple of the reception team weren’t very friendly, spoke down to us and with attitude which isn’t great being front of house. Very annoyed with each drink we ordered at the bar they added on a £2 charge, the drinks weren’t cheap in the first place so this made them even more expensive. The weekend wasn’t cheap and we felt we should have expected better service. Would we stay again probably not unless an apology and credit was offered.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! From the friendly and helpful staff to the relaxing spaces around the hotel, it was all we could have hoped for and more. The En Suite area was luxurious and the balcony meant we could really enjoy the surroundings in our own private setting. The reception, porter, bar and dining staff made us feel at ease whilst ensuring we had everything we needed. We've had a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.... we will be back!

Location is brilliant. Food, especially breakfast was great - wide choice of tasty food. Room was fine, as expected.

Insufficient disabled car parking spaces. Plenty of normal spaces. But people like me, who need to be able to open the car door fully in order to get in or our, need the extra space afforded in a disabled space. I don't think the staff understand this.

Our room was comfortable and quiet. Perfect. We had a King with no balcony but a very nice view of the ferry going back and forth (no noise).

The breakfast was cooked to order which was good but we also had to order our coffee/tea and our cereals/yoghurt and pastries. I would have preferred to see the choices for those and choose for myself especially as the staff were busy.

Overall very nice, friendly, comfortable, excellent breakfast, also enjoyed dinner the evening we ate there. Also very handy car charger in the car park

It was incredibly warm, but solved as we turned off any heating and the air conditioner on to get the room to a comfortable temperature. Opening the window also worked but there was no way to ensure it didn’t swing shut.

Size and comfort of bed, bathroom, balcony, and room generally was perfect. Very good breakfast with excellent service throughout. Dart Marina Hotel is a very nice place to spend a few days in Dartmouth.

I am struggling to think of any negative aspect of the hotel. Perhaps a bit pricey.

King Room with balcony with river view was excellent. A wide variety offered at breakfast and all served at the table. Dinner very good. Staff excellent. Great location.

Service charge on drinks ordered at the bar, even for the drinks you purchased yourself. Not necessary.

We really enjoyed our stay. The views over the river were amazing and although it was a bit too chilly to sit out for long, it was lovely to have a balcony. All the staff were very friendly and there was a whole army of them serving breakfast (which was excellent). Great to have freshly squeezed fruit juice.
