I recently spent two nights at Little Or hard. My room was beautifully clean, tastefully decorated and a good size with a comfortable bed. I also had a private patio area available. There were a selection of teas and coffee supplied, along with milk,orange juice and bottled water in the cutest little fridge in my room. The bathroom was spectacular with a roll top bath and also spotlessly clean. Breakfast on both mornings was freshly cooked and delicious… best poached eggs I’ve ever had! Plenty of breakfast choices available including vegetarian options. Finally, the hosts, Jo and Colin were lovely. Friendly and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they made sure I enjoyed my stay.

There was nothing that I didn’t like.

My husband and I stayed here whilst we were attending a wedding in Salcombe. On our arrival we were welcomed by Jo who explained everything we needed to know to enjoy our stay. Our room was beautiful and very spacious with lots of storage and lots of perfect added little touches (tea/coffee facilities, a fridge stocked with water, milk and juice, a tv, and a hairdryer and straighteners) the bed was very comfy and en suite bathroom very spacious with a double shower and a huge bath that was a god send after a very long walk one day! A breakfast menu was provided each day for the following morning so that breakfast could be provided as requested and at the time specified. Breakfast was delicious, with great amounts of coffee to add too! We were greeted by Ralph the Cockapoo each morning which was a great added bonus as we were missing our little dog! Jo and Colin were lovely and nothing was too much trouble at all, both very friendly and they made us feel like we were staying with friends rather than someone we had never met before, so much so that if we are ever visiting down that way again I wouldn't hesitate to contact them to stay there rather than elsewhere as I'm pretty sure no-one or no place would compare! Thank you both you both do a fantastic job and it has been a pleasure to stay and to meet you both!

We had a great 9 night stay. Very comfortable room with large unsuite. Perfectly situated for Salcombe, Hope Cove, Kingsbridge just short distances away. Colin & Jo were very friendly & helpful & we loved seeing Ralph their gorgeous dog at breakfast. Great choice for breakfast, all perfectly cooked. Super stay. We'll be back I'm sure.

Great B&B, great location 40min walk into Salcombe or a couple of minute drive to the park and ride. The Ensuit bedroom was very comfortable with everything you need. Very nice full English breakfast sets yoh up for the day. Host Colin was very welcoming, friendly and informative, nothing was too much trouble.

Easy parking with allocated parking spot on the driveway for your room. There was a great welcome pack in the room regarding places to visit/eat and taxi numbers for exploring. There was also a walking map provided to explore the local area. Great breakfast menu to choose what you would like for breakfast each morning - nice to have a variety and to have something different each day! Breakfasts were great!! Lovely bathroom with a nice bath tub and a nice large shower cubicle with rainfall shower head. The room also had kettle and plenty of tea, coffee and milk facilities for making as many hot beverages as you like. There was also a good sized mini fridge to even put in 2 full sized bottles of wine! The hosts, Jo, Colin and Ralphy the cockerpoo were really nice and very approachable.

The bed was a little too soft, so your body created a dip.

Room was very clean, and bathroom. However not a lot of wardrobe space. Nice to have a fridge. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Nice to be able to use dinning room for our own food. Nothing was to much trouble and felt very at home.

Lovely room with nice country views. Liked the table and chairs in the window - unusual to have somewhere to sit comfortably at a table. Nice big bathroom. great breakfasts, especially the veggie omelette.

Nothing significant. Aware that we could hear everything in the next guest room and that they could hear us just as much, though this is inevitable in a private house and our neighbours were very quiet. We would have preferred to stay in the large studio at the rear if it had been available.

Jo is a very friendly and attentive host. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice each morning. The room is clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped. We would happily recommend this peaceful and comfortable B&B.

Comfortable room and good breakfast including excellent fresh fruit salad.

Cost was more than we have paid for equivalent accomodation elsewhere in the UK. We stayed for 6 nights and no reduction on the nightly rate was offered but perhaps we should have asked !

Beautyfull house and room, wonderfull decoration, very clean, wonderfull hostess and host (helped us with adjusted breakfast (food intolerances) and with our car break down during a public holiday), lovely garden view, parking space for our rental car on the premiss, close to a local pub and supermarket and bus stop. Wonderfull place to stay over for one or 2 nights on (y)our way e.g. to the beach in the south. Our best bed and breakfast in the UK so far.
