The couple who own/run it were very friendly and couldn't have made us feel more at home helped carry suitcases up stairs and even made a bacon sandwich for my husbands breakfast to eat in our room .The room was a good size and decorated/furnished nicely.Nice en suite too.The breakfast was tasty and good value for money.The hotel has parking too.The location was great close to beach,pier,pubs,coffee shops,gift shops and amusement arcades.Myself,my husband and 17 year old daughter stayed in the family room and my brother in law had a single room.We are booked to stay again in August.

How friendly the hosts were. Great location. Had everything we needed in the room and they told us if we need anything else then just ask for it. Breakfast was nice and freshly cooked. Would stay here again.

Apart from the weather and flooded carpark which couldn't be helped. This isn't the host's fault. I didn't like that the fire alarm went off which also didn't help as took me ages to get back to sleep. As its a set breakfast and for someone that doesn't like mushrooms and tomatoes it would have been nice to be offered something in their place. Would have loved to have hash browns or extra bacon.

Everything! The family who own this hotel were amazing, couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Made our 5 year old very welcome Will definitely be returning to this hotel. We booked for a long weekend and on the first night needed late check in 11pm which was made easy by this family who stayed up to check us in! Breakfast was easy and didn’t have to wait. Very attentive 10/10 for us and we will stay at the hotel for every weekend we have away in this location

Just had a fantastic 4 nights at the berry hotel with my partner and 2 children. The owners are lovely and friendly. Excellent with the kids too! My 5 year old is fussy eater but with further encouragement from the lady she always left eating something. If anything was needed for room they would sort it pretty much straight away- Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was lovely and clean. Location was excellent! We will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was very good with a varied choice of food on offer cereal full English fruit fruit juice tea and coffee toast .The food was always well presented and hot.The choices were readily available

Nothing everything was fine.The shower worked and was clean .The bed was comfortable.The only thing different I would have liked were softer pillows but that’s just my preference ther was nothing wrong with the ones there I just prefer softer ones

A great friendly welcome from Ram and Subhu, there was nothing too much for this lovely couple. We stayed in a superior room, which my fussy teenagers were really impressed by and so was I, we can honestly say we've never slept in a comfier bed away from home! Wifi was great (and essential for the teenagers). The shower was great too. A superb location as it is central so only a few minutes walk to the beach and local attractions, however that does mean a little local noise at night is to be expected, especially given that we went in high season. There is also ample free parking which is an awesome bonus. Genuinely I would highly recommend a stay at Berry Hotel and will certainly be returning in the very near future.

Honestly not much to complain about, my only very small issue, that cannot really be controlled is the local noise at night, but as stated previously this should be expected of any central hotel spot in high season!!

The room was very good and served our needs the shower was good but doesn’t seem to be fixed properly the blind in the bathroom needs attention as you could not roll it up to where you wanted to as it kept falling down

What we discovered was there were stains on the bedding but was too late to say anything this is not something I expect and is not acceptable you cannot put dirty bedding on beds and cover it up with a velvet throw hoping it wouldn’t be noticed

A lovely stay as usual! Perfect location...very short walk to the beach and all amenities. This time it wasn't me and steve...it was me, my daughter and my son..20.and 15... we had the double.family room and it was spotless and very comfy! Plenty of tea and coffee etc and more if we required .. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and breakfast was lovely and filling 😋 Thanku again for a lovely stay! Hayley x

Close proximity to beach, very pleasant owners, lovely breakfast, free parking and clean room.

I stayed there for a week during an exceptionally hot period, and the room was very hot even with window open. Ordinarily I'm sure the heat of the room would not have been so much of an issue. There was a fan in the room which helped little bit not much.

The bed was comfortable, the room was a good size. The stairs to the bathroom have to be thought through when you use them, but as long as you have awareness they are there then your not likely to take a fall. Briefly met the couple who owned the property, they were friendly and helpful. The price for our stay was very good for everything offered to us including breakfast which we didn't have on account of getting up late! Thank you to the property owners.
