The hotel was exceptionally clean, good size bedroom. The shower had amazing pressure. The bed was comfortable with a good mattress and nice pillows. The room deco was very nice. The owner at reception was very friendly and helpful. We have asked for a taxi company and also ice for the room. The property had a fob to get in, which worked nicely for those staying out late. The location was ideal with the beach across the greens.I would definitely recommend staying at this friendly family business.

The only tiny thing was there aren't many available parking spaces, especially when you come during the high season. There are some spaces to park on the streets or to use a public car park only a few minutes away.

I stayed in a single room for one night which was a very cheap price of £39. The room itself was perfect - spacious with a big wardrobe and the bathroom was a great size with a sea view! Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. The staff were very responsive and accommodating as I was travelling a long way and due to train delays would not be arriving until gone 8pm, they arranged to leave the key in the key safe outside so I could get in. There is a communal area with a TV and books to sit in. Would highly recommend here and would look to stay again if I'm in the area! Thank you

I couldn't turn off the extractor fan in the bathroom but that wasn't a major issue

Location was fantastic. Gary and James work really well together and it was great to hear the improvements they’ve made over the months. The lounge and bar areas are a great addition. Views were great, bed was comfy and the James’ brekkies were spot on and great value!

Our only small gripes were inconsistent shower temps and being woken up very early by barking dogs left in rooms whilst owners ate. But to be fair we chose the hotel because it was dog friendly so we expected it to a degree. Free parking on site is limited but you can park across the road for £3

We stayed in room 10, which I would highly recommend. Although all the rooms are of an exceptional standard, they are at the front of the hotel with a large balcony and stunning views. The hosts were very friendly and tentative to ensuring your stay was seamless and enjoyable. The hotel is modern, very clean and in excellent condition. The hotel also offers disabled access and lifts to upper floors with onsite parking. If you stay in Paighton, book this hotel as your 1st choice, and you will not be disappointed.

Breakfast a little earlier than 8 am would have been good as I had to go to work, and my wife said the breakfast was excellent, with so much choice( I am a little jealous 😀).

Owner AWSOME cleaner AWSOME We stayed in room 4 for 7 days it was perfect for us and a walking distance to atleast 4 beautiful beaches and many more to visit with transport, this hotel is on the sea front with beautiful scenery. The host and staff are very friendly, welcoming and always available for any help. I can't wait to stay again. The room and Hotel was immaculately beautiful, the owners should be so proud of them selves for having such a beautiful place. Hard work pays off ♥️

A Lovely Stay – Already Planning Our Next Visit! We received a warm welcome on arrival, and the hotel was clean, airy, and inviting. Our room was lovely and comfortable, and we appreciated being given a fob, which gave us the freedom to come and go after hours. While we had a nice room with a sea view, we’ve already got our eye on the room just below for next time – it looks even better! Breakfast was just right – a great way to start the day. Looking forward to our return! Thank you for a lovely stay!

I had a very enjoyable 1 night stay at the Beach Hotel Torbay. I was delighted to be upgraded from a single room to a double with a balcony . It looked like the best room in the house , my bargain of the year and a very generous upgrade. James and Gary have created a modern and relaxing B&B, with stylish public spaces , clean and comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. The sea view and the garden were also fabulous. I am hoping to book a longer stay next year. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

Everything was tip top.

What an absolute find! Wonderful hosts who laid on a complimentary barbecue & Pimms for the guests, in celebration of the airshow. The viewpoint from the balcony of my room was perfect to see the airshow & I will cherish the fantastic pictures I was able to take from the comfort of my secluded spot! Everywhere was clean, the bar prices were very reasonable, the breakfast was really good & above all the atmosphere was incredibly relaxed. I would highly recommend this hotel for solo travellers as well as families.

I can't fault any aspect.

I loved everything about my stay. I received a very warm welcome from Gary on my arrival. Check in was easy no fuss which I appreciated. I had a room with a balcony which was a bonus. I cannot wait to return. My only gripe was the distance to the Railway Station which of course cannot be helped ! That said I have walking difficulties but, but there was a lift at the accommodation which was brilliant and helped so so much. Thank you guys for a tremendous, relaxing, comfortable stay.

Great location, spacious room and huge balcony with direct sea view. Bright clean and cozy communal area, clean room. Didn’t have breakfast there, but they served it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Despite it said there was no parking we were pleasantly surprised by the available parking in front of the hotel (though first come first take it). And the price for such a dog friendly hotel is just a gift taking out all moaning about what could be better below…

I wouldn’t mind balconies to be “no smoking” too: plenty of space in the garden and all the smoke from the neighbours’ balcony ended up in our room with baby sleeping there. Also for the 5 nights stay I’d prefer my towels to be replaced at least once. And cleaner should know that the towel on the floor is not the one to be hanged back next to clean one 😖)
