On arrival we booked in and Ali insisted on carrying the suit case and bags to the room which was on the top floor, which was very kind. We went has a group spead over three rooms ( myself, two of my daughters and 5 grandchildren) child friendly hotel I belive the hotel is now under new management, All the staff where very friendly and accommodating and did there best to help in anyway they could. One of my daughters had a balcony which was amazing and Ali even brought us extra deckchairs so we could sit as a family. We shall all definitely be returning, great location easy enough to walk into Torquay and not far to walk to the local shops / bars and entertainment.

My stay at the Bonair Hotel was great value for money, on arrival I was warmly welcomed and was given an upgraded room (with a view of the sea front) which was absolutely great! My room was exactly what I needed, a comfortable double bed with ensuite bathroom and a 32" ROKU tv with Internet! Overall it was a very successful and relaxing stay and I'll be sure to put the Bonair Hotel at the top of my search list upon my next visit to Paignton.

There was nothing in particular that I didn't like.

The room was sea view right next to the ocean. No parking available but we parked overnight in the seafront parking for just £11 and could clearly see our car from our room. The hotel is unstaffed and this was strange to us. We were given a pin code to access our room which we received the details of in an email. It wasn't a bad room for what we paid. We simply wanted somewhere to sleep at the end of our day. I wasn't expecting anything special so wasn't disappointed at all. It was clean enough to feel comfortable in. (I've been to homes dirtier than there) so I thought it was quite clean enough. There were meant to be towels in our room but they were not there, however we were lucky enough to have brought our own anyway. No biggie. Personally, we got what we paid for (not luxury just budget) and have no complaints at all. !

If u don't like stairs u should ask for lower floor. The hotel is pretty big and we were top floor with the lift not working, plenty of stairs and my knees aren't the best. I failed to make this request but I managed.

Great location on the front line by the sea front but also near the centre and not far from the station. Check in instructions were sent and worked fine. The room was fine initially we didn't have towels but we sent a message and when we came back in the evening they were in the room. Shower was great. Was quiet in the room the night we stayed. There is a nice front garden space with benches where you can sit. For the price it was more than good value.

It was fine for what we expected for the price, a private en suite room. Don't expect breakfast/ a bar/ entertainment it's not that kind of place but there is so much around the area. I wouldn't say it's somewhere to bring the family as there are some hanging cables and strangely labeled sockets. As a group of adult friends it was perfect.

Everything!,We enjoyed every minute,what we spent there. It was our youngest daughters 10th Birthday! Staff was so helpful and organised for kids Birthday fun music...Kids enjoyed and we toooo...Three day just flew away like one ...Thank you very much! Very appreciated fir so kind service! 1000 % recommended to stay there. It's clean, quite and peaceful hotel ! We had rooms with Sea 🌊 viewing! Excellent service! Thank you 😊!

Location incredible -1 minute walk to sea, the bed was wonderfully comfy, immediate hot water in the shower which was easy to use, plenty of hanging space for clothes (with good quality hangers) and lots of drawers for other belongings. Also great size room and bathroom! Staff were friendly as well as being quick and responsive to requests. Also, all this comes at a very reasonable price!!! 10/10 from me!!!

staff were very friendly although we did have a problem with connecting to the wifi, lovely hotel although they are in the middle of upgrading but that did not deter us. great location about a 5 min walk to the town and right on the sea front. parking was on site with a very reasonable charge.

its such a shame they are not doing breakfast but only a 5min walk to weatherspoons.

The hotel have made great improvements since the last time i stayed there early this year. There was a staff on site who was welcoming and helpful. They upgraded my room to a very lovely sea view room with balcony. The room was nice, clean and fresh. I was very impressed. The bed was very comfortable.

They forgot to leave a toilet roll. They would have provided it if I bothered to ask but I had an alternative so I didn't ask.

The location is great very central on sea front . I read. The others reviews and listen if you want higher standard accomodation don't book a £30 a night room.! I booked cause it was cheap and I liked location and I had realistic expectation ...it will be basic . Which I'm fine with .was greeted at reception and given my key. Single room . It had all I needed. Even a kettle and cups which is unusual nowadays. The room was very Clean! The bed v comfy. TV worked.. Good room for the price. You get what you pay for . So don't expect the Ritz ... and main about every little thing....if you want more you must pay more for somewhere else.. For me it was fine but then I'm not very fussy lol. Clean, dry roof over my head and v cheap. All good!. Was also offered free breakfast It was very quiet had a good night's sleep . Yes it's being renovated...so what! People have to do up the property , yes it's dated decor ...so what.if you want modern go pay £100+ a night and stop moaning. Honestly first world problems....people in UK moan about any little thing. ..or there was dust on the shelf ..oh the carpet wasn't spot less.....no it isn't and that is what you get for cheapest room price in Paignton!. So stop moaning and pay more !... I found it fine but then I've slept in worse dives and travelled all over ten world. Once you see real poverty you don't moan so much ...it is what it is. Cheap accomodation, Comfy, dry, good location , it is old fashioned a bot but I like kitch retro 🙂. I don't care if it doesn't have 24 hour reception ...it's easy you just check yourself out ... leave key at reception. All I would say is don't leave any valuables in your room. As the front door is open.. anyone can walk in ..use you brain. But for me it was what I needed a small quiet roo.cheao in good location. . Better than sleeping rough on a bench 🤣👍

All good cause I'm not fussy and don't expect alot paying for cheapest room In Paignton. I didn't have any problems. I like it.

Although the hotel looked very dated and quiet scruffy from the out side. The room we had was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Lovely shower. The furniture looked new. Great tv large fan and all that was wanted for our night stay. There was also parking and short walk to all facilities. The guy in charge was very helpful and polite. Would definitely book again.
