Breakfast was good with a very efficient service by the staff. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room was clean as was the bathroom.

The shower in my room had no water pressure, and was barely a trickle. Being on the top floor you do not expect a lot of flow, but this was not enough to have a shower. This was strange as the wash basin taps worked fine.

Very friendly staff. The room was very well presented and well laid out. The bathroom was also a decent size. I found it just right for a solo visitor. Breakfast was fine, with very attentive staff. Ideal location, not far from the railway station and local shops. A few minutes walking distance to the sea front.

Location gets 10 points for sure, but the rooms were very narrow and the bathroom, if there were plus size visitors, I can't imagine how they'd squeeze through the narrow space in the bathroom. A new room would have to be requested. The staff were super lovely, the space inside the hotel was great, but again very narrow. Despite arriving early, they run out of parking spaces and I was sent to their sister hotel, which was right by the beach, about 5 mins walk. I didn't mind, but prob not so convenient for families.

Sadly, the hotel could do with a refurbishment; the sink in my room, or the bathroom overall, was very aged and used. IT was very clean though.

The evening entertainment was good the young man behind the bar was very friendly and made you feel at ease and was very polite at all times and was the same every morning when showing me and my partner to our table

The big gentlemen who I think is now the Bar and beverage manager he is quite rude and doesn't make you feel welcome at the queens hotel at all he he is totally in the wrong job as there were a lot of guests that were saying the same thing and saying that they wouldn't stay again because of his rudeness and attitude towards people plus he never smiles either when i spoke to other members of staff they stated that it all depended what mood he was in when he arrived at work and didn't really like working along side him because of his rudeness and mood swings

Everything. On arrival, we were a little disappointed as there was no atmosphere. However, this soon changed. We went down to dinner and was amazed at the quality of the food. The room was small but adequate. Then we had the entertainment and how good that was. Brilliant acts all weekend. Your staff are a huge credit to you. Breakfast was good and plentiful. All in all, a really nice stay.

Slight smell in room 319. Nothing too bad. And the hotel could do with a reference. But having said that the hotel was clean and looked after.

The hotel was comfortable, just a bit tired around the edges, chipped paintwork, bit of grime around edges of shower. Broken blinds in the room. But overall clean. Lift needs updating but it's good to have as my husband had his foot in a cast so helped him get upstairs. Staff were friendly. Main issue was price of drinks in the bar. The first night they seemed reasonable but 2nd night the prices seemed expensive. £9.60 for a double barcardi with no coke. We queried it and told it was correct and the guy on the previous night might have done a special. Bar wasn't always manned as the young barman kept going to play pool with another colleague. Location is great with parking a bonus.

We came down to Paignton, stayed at the Queens 14 of us! Bar staff, amazing. The lady who entertained us on Friday, absolutely brilliant! What a voice! Very welcoming. Our whole crowd met up in the bar on the Saturday before we went to The Torbay Inn to see friends and celebrate our friends birthday. And it was great. Very clean rooms, as always.

The breakfast! For the money, no! You can just stroll down the road two minutes for a big, hearty £7 breakfast at Wetherspoons. The breakfast at the Queens is hugely disappointing for basically a tenner, do not upgrade! It was a corner of fried bread, a tiny spoon of tinned mushrooms, gross, a small spoon of scrambled eggs, the tiniest bit of fried tom's, one small sausage and rasher of bacon, and a small spoon of beans. Oh, and one bit of toast each. And waited an age for it. Hotel, great, breakfast, no.

Friendly reception staff. The pool. Comfy bed Hot shower Atmosphere WiFi I enjoyed my short stay at The Queens Hotel, I could park there, always a must for me as I like to leave the car and go exploring I could use the pool which was a good size and was warm. I felt safe as I was on my own, and the Hotel was well kept and organised.

I was disappointed with the full English breakfast on my first morning 😒 to be honest, it was small and really didn't look very cared about, I was given excessive butter with extra toast when i asked for more, (a silly uncaring gesture for 1 person) So after deliberating if it was going to be the same the next morning I chose porridge, toast and croissant which was much better 🙂 lovely big croissant, honey with the porridge and jam this time with the toast.

Got an upgrade from a single room to a triple (double + single bed), it had a mini bath that was ideal for me.

The evenings entertainment. The singer absolutely murdered some classic songs, especially The Carpenter's and Abba. The Magician well, he said that he was on some 70/80s show, so was his act. This Thank goodness I had my headphones but I unfortunately could STILL HEAR IT. The retired people liked it. I only went down for drinks and to do some writing, so I'm not really bothered about it.

This was lovely, very kind staff- a very nice lady rang me a couple of days before to check if there was anything I needed - lift, walk in shower etc, Which was really appreciated thank you. The room and shower were beautifully clean and everything I needed. I loved the live entertainment from the singer Jonathan Mark . I loved being just a few minutes walk from the seafront with small market stalls and then coming back for a very nice breakfast . I will visit again thank you
