Everything was great. Everything was homely, nice owners, great breakfast. We were there twice and will come again! Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Only there for a short overnight stay. Found the room comfortable but it was very hot. Host had already mentioned that curtains had been closed to try & prevent the heat so didn’t think it was worth asking if they had any fans. Room was a good size with everything needed & couldn’t ask for better hosts. Breakfast was exceptional, well presented & really flavoursome bacon & sausage.

Found the stairs a bit difficult as have an ankle injury & struggle but hadn’t made that clear. Wasn’t so keen on the shared toilet & fact that the shower was on a lower level however, just a minor inconvenience and wouldn’t prevent me from staying again.

Suzanne and Kevin were very nice and friendly. They were very generous with their local knowledge and they were very entertaining with their stories. Breakfast was very nice and nicely presented. nothing was too much trouble. Our room was pleasant . Tea and coffee was provided and topped up each day The shower was very nice, the sink was very small. the towels were changed each day

Nice location close to places such as Tintagel, etc Helpful staff and the rooms were good and had all you needed for a pleasant stay.

Upon the daily housekeeping the staff went round switching off any sockets. This therefore meant that our coolbox/mini fridge was switched off which could cause an issue had we had any fridge medication.

We liked the willingness of the landlord to add items to the breakfast menu and of the landlord, landlady and staff to address the guests needs. Bus service through Camelford connects to Bude on down the northern Cornish coast to Newquay. When we left we took a bus from Camelford to Bodmin and changed there to another bus to Bodmin Parkway Railway Station. We would all be happy to go back to the Countryman.

I cannot think of anything I did not like about the hotel. There was the fire in the pub about 100 yards or so down the road. This happened the day after we arrived. Since the equipment brought in to fight the fire filled the main road ... The only other thing about this part of the trip that caused comment - my wife's comment that 'Everywhere you go in Cornwall you either go straight up or straight down.'

The location was good for my purposes. I had to leave too early to have breakfast, but if it had been possible for me to take something with me (a sandwich or bacon sandwich) and/or some fruit from the breakfast buffet table, that would have been useful for me.

There was no heating in the bathroom and the heating in the bedroom didn't come on till just before I had to leave, so had I wanted to take a shower before leaving, it would have been in a cold bathroom and then into a cold bedroom to finish drying off.

Only booked a few hours before arriving so very spur of the moment. Arrived in the dark so finding the carpark was a bit awkward. Friendly host. Room was nice and warm, which was welcome cos it snowed overnight! Room was clean and had the usual tea and coffee facilities. The toilet and shower were next to the room and were spotless. The hosts lent me cutlery and a plate for the takeaway I bought for tea. Breakfast was very good and the host was pleasant and helpful

Nothing not to like. It was exactly what I expected and I enjoyed my stay

This is my second stay here. I'd book again too. The place is clean, welcoming and central for so many things. Camelford also has what I feel is the best Indian (Nepalese and Gurkha) restaurant in Cornwall. The Masons Arms is a good pub, there's a great chippy and the Chinese takeaway is good too. What's not to like?

I can't say there's anything I didn't like.

Sue and Kev are amazing hosts I was travelling alone and doing a mini tour of Cornwall They made me feel very welcome I arrived as guest and left as a friend Amazing place Clean quirky and warm Ohhhh and what an excellent breakfast too Thankyou guys ❤️

Nothing to dislike Other than I couldn’t stay longer

Breakfast was tasty in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. Lovely food and the hosts were great. I had a great night's sleep and my later arrival time was accommodated without fuss.

Sadly missing plug for the bath, so unable to use it, however, the shower was amazing so not a problem
